THE FORD F250 WAS TURNING LEFT ON A TWO WAY UNDIVIDED HIGHWAY. IT WAS STRUCK IN THE DRIVER'S SIDE BY A PASSING SEMI-TRUCK/TRAILER. THE COLLISION WAS JUST BEHIND THE DRIVER'S SEAT AND BACK TOWARD THE BOX OF THE PICK-UP. IT SPUN THE PICK-UP INTO THE DITCH WHERE IT ROLLED ONCE. THE FRONT SEAT PASSENGER WAS EJECTED AND FOUND LYING ON THE GROUND BY THE DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE VEHICLE WITH THE LEGS AND FEET PROPPED UP AGAINST THE VEHICLE. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED BROKEN RIBS AND PUNCTURED LUNG BUT DID NOT REQUIRE SURGERY FOR SUSTAINED INJURIES. THE SEAT BELT SHOWED BURN CONSISTENT WITH BEING LOADED WITH A FORCE AND THE BUCKLE APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN BENT SLIGHTLY. EXAMINATION OF THE RECEIVER PORTION SHOWED THE OUTSIDE HOUSING HAD SPLIT AND THE BUCKLE WOULD NOT REMAIN IN OR FASTEN IN AT ALL. IT APPEARS THAT THE PASSENGER WAS EJECTED WHEN THE SEAT BELT SYSTEM FAILED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD F250. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH THE STEERING GEAR BOX FAILED. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT STAY IN A STRAIGHT PATH AND IT WOULD SWERVE ALL OVER THE LANE. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED WHO STATED THERE WAS NO RECALL AND THE PARTS WERE ON NATIONAL BACK ORDER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.....UPDATED 12/11/12 *BF UPDATED 12/12/12
I'M A LIFE TIME FORD TRUCK OWNER AND HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IN MY LIFE AND READY TO PURCHASE FROM A COMPETITOR. THE TITLE "DEATH WOBBLE" IS VERY TRUE AND FORD REALLY NEEDS TO PAY ATTENTION BECAUSE IT WILL COST SOMEONE THEIR LIFE. IF I WASN'T 65 YEARS OLD AND AN EXPERIENCED DRIVER THE MULTIPLE TIMES I'VE EXPERIENCED THIS COULD HAVE KILLED ME. I HAVE REPLACED EVERYTHING INVOLVING THE SUSPENSION, TIRES, STRUTS, RODS, HAVING MULTIPLE ALIGNMENTS, ETC.. AND NOTHING HAS FIXED THIS MESS. FORD NEEDS TO FIX THIS. I'M WILLING TO BE PART OF A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM FOR THE LEMONS/DEATH TRAPS THEY'RE PRODUCING & SELLING. FORD IS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THEY SWITCHED FROM LEAF SPRINGS TO THIS HORRIBLE DESIGN STARTING WITH 2008 MODELS TO PRESENT. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHERE THEY PROVIDED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO PURCHASE ANOTHER WHEEL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 48,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD F-250 EQUIPPED WITH BF GOODRICH LT COMMERCIAL TIRES, LINE SIZE 275/70/R18. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TIRE TREAD SEPARATED. ALSO, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE SAME FAILURE OCCURRED ON THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE TIRES WERE REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 39,770.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD F-250. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE STEERING FAILED AND BECAME INOPERABLE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE AND EXITED ONTO THE SHOULDER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE FAILURE WAS AT THE GEAR BOX. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD F-250. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE WOULD SHAKE VIOLENTLY WHENEVER DRIVING OVER A ROAD BUMP OR A POTHOLE. THE WHEELS WOULD ALSO BOUNCE OFF THE GROUND AND THE STEERING WOULD BECOME DEFECTIVE WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED. ONCE THE VEHICLE WAS AT A COMPLETE STOP, THE FAILURE WOULD CEASE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TIRE PRESSURE AND ALIGNMENT WAS CHECKED, BUT THE DEALER DID NOT RECOMMEND ANY TYPE OF REPAIR. DRIVING HIGHWAY SPEED, AFTER HITTING ROUGH AREA, FRONT END STARTS TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY CAUSING ALMOST LOSS OF CONTROL. TOOK TO FORD DEALER IN LAREDO, TX AND WAS REPAIRED. THIS LASTED ABOUT 8 MONTHS AND PROBLEM AROSE AGAIN AS I WAS DRIVING THE INTERSTATE IN MS. TOOK TO LOCAL REPAIR AND HAD KING PIN[?] REPLACED BUT DIDN'T STOP THE PROBLEM. CHECKED TIRE PRESSURE, SHOCKS, WHEEL BEARINGS...RESEARCH HAS PROVEN THIS IS VERY COMMON PROBLEM BUT NO REAL ANSWER. THIS TRUCK IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AND COST OVER $50,000. WHAT DO I DO NOW? *TR
LEAKING RADIATOR HOSES CAUSING LOSS OF COOLANT FROM ENGINE. LEAK IS A HAZARD TO ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE THAT MAY COME IN CONTACT WITH ETHYLENE GLYCOL. DEALER INDICATES A DESIGN ISSUE EXISTS WITH RADIATOR HOSE O-RINGS AND FORD HAS REDESIGNED THE HOSES TO USE DOUBLE O-RINGS VS. THE CURRENT SINGLE O-RING. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD F-250. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE SUN SHINED ON THE WINDSHIELD, IT WOULD EMIT A GLARE OF RANGING COLORS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING WHERE THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE A FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,300.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON - THOUGHT IT WAS BAD SEALING GAS CAP. IT WASN'T. TOOK TO FORD DEALER AND THEY ENDED UP REPLACING FUEL CARBON FILTER AT FUEL FILL AREA - SAID IT WAS FOULED WITH GASOLINE. THEY DON'T KNOW HOW IT COULD HAPPEN AND IT PROBABLY WOULD NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. THIS WAS A NO CHARGE, UNDER WARRANTY FIX. *TR
WHILE DRIVING WITH FUEL LEVEL BETWEEN 1/8 AND 1/4 TANK, TRUCK SHUT DOWN COMPLETELY. THE "50 MILES TO EMPTY" INDICATOR HAD ILLUMINATED APPROX. 2 MILES BEFORE FAILURE. HAD TRUCK TOWED TO DEALER AND WAS FORCED TO PAY APPROX. $250 FOR DIAGNOSTIC AND TOW. DEALER COORDINATED WITH FORD CORPORATE AND DETERMINED I DROVE TRUCK UNTIL FUEL WAS EMPTY. APPROX. 4 WEEKS LATER, TRUCK SHUT DOWN AGAIN. DEALER EXPLAINED I WOULD HAVE TO "PLACE A BET" THAT THE FUEL INDICATOR SENSOR WAS "OUT OF TOLERANCE." THEY WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE FUEL TANK AND CHECK SENSOR. PER TECH, IF SENSOR WAS WITHIN TOLERANCE, I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE ENTIRE BILL. I TOLD THEM TO GO AHEAD AND PERFORM THE CHECK. SENSOR WAS IN FACT OUT OF TOLERANCE AND WAS INDICATING MORE FUEL THAN WAS ACTUALLY IN THE TANK. SENSOR WAS REPLACED AND THE DEALER, NOT FORD, REFUNDED THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT OF REPAIR. LAST FORD I WILL PURCHASE. GM/CHEVY WILL BE MY NEXT DIESEL PURCHASE. *TR
WE HAVE A 2009 FORD F250 SUPERDUTY TRUCK. IT HAS A FACTORY INSTALLED FORD CLASS FIVE HITCH. THE UNIT FAILED-- THE HITCH WELD SEPARATED AT THE RECEIVER AND CROSSMEMBER FRAME. YOU CAN SEE THE 3/8 INCH GAP FROM WHERE WELD DID NOT ADHERE AND WHERE THE BOTTOM AND TOP PLATE HAVE LARGE CRACKS. WE TOWED OUR BOAT ABOUT 350 MILES TO LAKE POWELL AND THEN HOME. ABOUT 6 WEEKS AFTER WE GOT HOME WE NOTICED THE HITCH WAS NOT ON CENTER. UPON INSPECTION I SAW THE HITCH WAS DAMAGED AND CALLED HOLMES TUTLE FORD. THEY SAID BECAUSE MY MILEAGE EXCEEDED THE WARRANTY ALLOWANCE, IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. I REMOVED HITCH AND TOOK IT TO JIM CLICK FORD. BECAUSE IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY ON MILES ON THE TRUCK, THE SERVICE MANAGER SAID I SHOULD NOT EXPECT A CALL. TOUNGE WEIGHT IS APPROX 400# AND TOTAL WEIGHT ON THE TRAILER AND BOAT IS NOT MORE THAN 6,000 LBS WE WANT THE MANUFACTURER TO REPLACE THE HITCH. WE HAVE THE UNIT READY FOR INSPECTION AND I BELIEVE IT WILL BE OBVIOUS TO ALMOST ANYONE THAT THE WELD FAILED. *TR
ENGINE FIRE IN MY 2009 F250. I WAS DRIVING ALONG AND STARTED TO SEE SMOKE AND WENT TO STOP AND PULL OVER. WHEN I WENT TO APPLY THE BRAKES THEY WERE HARD TO PUSH AND BARELY STOPPED THE VEHICLE. THE BACK TIRE LOCKED UP AND SKIDDED ON THE GRASS, BUT THE FRONT TIRE DID NOTHING EVIDENT. THERE WERE BURNING FLAMES DROPPING DOWN FROM THE FIREWALL ON THE GROUND AS WE EXITED THE VEHICLE. MY INSURANCE COMPANY IS INVESTIGATING A CAUSE, BUT THE FIRE CHIEF COULD NOT DETERMINE ANYTHING. THE ONLY FAILURE I HAD IN THE TRUCK WAS THE BRAKES AND SMOKE. MY WIFE AND I HAD 4 KIDS IN THE TRUCK WITH US AND GOT OUT JUST ON TIME. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD F-250. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING OVER A BUMP AT APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN SHAKING AND SWERVED INTO ANOTHER LANE. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE OR DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. HOWEVER, ALL FOUR TIRES WERE REPLACED ON FOUR OCCASIONS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
DURING WET WEATHER CONDITIONS (HUMIDITY AND RAIN ESPECIALLY) AND AFTER APPROXIMATELY 30-40 MINUTES OF STEADY STATE DRIVING ON AT FREEWAY SPEEDS; THE TRUCK WILL HESITATE WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL IS PRESSED TO THE FLOOR. THE ENGINE RPM WILL INCREASE WITH THE TRANSMISSION DOWNSHIFT, THEN THE ENGINE RPM WILL IMMEDIATELY FALL BACK DOWN BY ABOUT 500 RPM FOR APPROXIMATELY 5-7 SECONDS BEFORE RETURNING TO A FULL THOTTLE ENGINE SPEED. DURING THIS TIME OF RPM FLUCTUATION IT FEELS/SOUNDS LIKE A STUMBLE AND/OR MISS IN THE ENGINE. THIS IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE AND WHEN WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE AS DESCRIBED ABOVE CAN BE DUPLICATED EASILY. THIS ISSUE IS OF REAL CONCERN WHEN MERGING INTO TRAFFIC OR ATTEMPTING TO PASS ANOTHER CAR. THE TRUCK FEELS LIKE IT IS GOING TO ACCELERATE INTO TRAFFIC, THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MOMENTARILY LOOSES POWER LEAVING THE DRIVER AND PASSENGERS OF THE TRUCK VULNERABLE TO A COLLISION WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE. SO FAR MY TRUCK HAS BEEN TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIME FOR MULTIPLE DAYS. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO CURE THE PROBLEM. THEY HAVE HOOKUP UP VEHICLE DATA RECORDERS MULTIPLE TIME WITHOUT SUCCESS. THEY DID FIND INCONSISTENCIES IN THE MAP SENSOR READINGS WHICH WAS SUBSEQUENTLY REPLACED, HOWEVER THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. *LN
2009 FORD SUPER DUTY: THIS VEHICLE COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN ENGINE ON (3) DIFFERENT OCCASIONS WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT. NO STEERING, BRAKES OR CONTROL OF VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY LOST. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO FORD DEALER ON EVERY OCCASION AND THEY SAID THEY CANNOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. DANGEROUS. WE INSTALLED A FLIGHT DATA RECORDER ON THE VEHICLE TODAY TO MONITOR AND RECORD THIS SO WHEN IT HAPPENS AGAIN FORD CANNOT DENY THE FACTS ND EVADE THE RESPONSIBILITY. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD F-250 SUPERDUTY. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER AND INSPECTED THE TIRES. THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE PRESSURE, WHICH WAS ALSO THE SPARE TIRE, WAS LOW. THE CONTACT ADDED AIR BUT CONTINUED TO NOTICE THE SAME PROBLEM. THE CONTACT READ THE OWNER'S MANUAL AND IT STATED THAT THE LIGHT WOULD TURN OFF WHEN AIR WAS ADDED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LIGHT CONTINUED TO ILLUMINATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NO SENSOR IN THE SPARE TIRE AND THAT IT WAS CAUSING THE LIGHT TO STAY ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER ADVISED HIM TO PURCHASE A SENSOR. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO STATED THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER AND CALL HIM BACK. WHEN HE SPOKE WITH THE MANUFACTURER, THE INFORMATION BY THE DEALER WAS VERIFIED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 6,500. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 6,600.
THE FRONT TIRES AND STEERING WHEEL SHIMMY LEFT TO RIGHT AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. IT WAS BROUGHT TOP THE DEALERSHIP FROM WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED TO BE REPAIRED. DEALERSHIP SAID THEY FOUND NO ISSUES WITH IT. IT WAS NOTICED AGAIN AND BROUGHT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AFTER I REPLACED THE STEERING STABILIZER. I WAS TOLD AT THAT POINT THE TRACK BAR BALL JOINT WAS WORN AND WAS CHARGED $400.00 FOR THE REPAIR. THE VEHICLE IS PROGRESSIVELY GETTING WORSE. NOW THE FRONT END STARTS TO SHIMMY AND IS UNSAFE FOR ANY SPEED ABOVE 45MPH. THIS IS AN ONGOING ISSUE WITH ALL SUPER DUTY TRUCKS. THE PROBLEM CAN BE SEEN ON LINE AT YOU TUBE / FORD DEATH WOBBLE. THE TECHNICIAN THAT WORKED ON MY VEHICLE TOLD ME HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS CAUSING THE PROBLEM. *TR
THE VEHICLE WILL SPEW WHITE SMOKE AND LOSE ENGINE POWER WHEN UNDER ACCELERATION AFTER EXTENDED PERIODS OF DRIVING TIME AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS ON RAINY OR HUMID DAYS. I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM SINCE IT WAS NEW, VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS 120,000 MILES ON IT. I HAVE HAD THIS VEHICLE IN TO SEVERAL DIFFERENT FORD DEALERS IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT STATES, BUT THEY ALL TELL ME THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE TRUCK. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE NOISE WAS A NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THE MOTOR BUT THEY DECIDED TO REPLACE THE CAM SHAFT AND VCT SOLENOIDS AS A TEMPORARY FIX. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 16,460. UPDATED 1/12/11 *CN UPDATED 2/1/12 *CN
I WAS DRIVING MY 2009 F-250 TRAVELING ABOUT 40 TO 45 MPH AND AFTER HITTING A ROUGH PATCH OF ROAD THE WHEELS BEGAN TO SHAKE OUT OF CONTROL FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS. I HAVE HAD MY TRUCK TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE SAME PROBLEM ON 6 PLUS TIMES. FORD STATES THAT IT WAS A TIRE PRESSURE ISSUE.......BS!.... BS! EACH TIME FORD HAS MY TRUCK THEY SAY WE HAVE FIXED THE PROBLEM AND IT SHOULD NOT OCCUR AGAIN. THE LAST TIME I LEFT FORD AND SPENT 165.00$ ON A DAMPER ROD TO FIX THIS PROBLEM I DROVE 18 MILES DOWN THE ROAD AND WENT INTO A "DEATH WOBBLE AGAIN. I TURNED THE TRUCK AROUND AND IT IS SITTING AT FORD AS I WRITE THIS POST. AFTER REVIEWING THIS MATTER ON LINE I HAVE NOTICED THAT THERE ARE MORE F-250'S WITH THE SAME ISSUE. A FEDERAL RECALL NEEDS TO BE DONE AND FAST. SEVERAL TIMES THAT THE "DEATH WOBBLE " AS OCCURRED TO ME , I HAVE BEEN LUCKY SO FAR TO DRIVE OUT OF IT WITH OUT A PROBLEM. APPROXIMATELY 3 DAYS AGO, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SLIPPED BRIEFLY, OCCURRED AGAIN ON 2/22/10. SELF-CORRECTED BOTH TIMES. VEHICLE WAS HAULING ENCLOSED CARGO TRAILER CONTAINING 3 ATV'S. PARKED VEHICLE AND SHUT OFF IGNITION, VEHICLE WAS IN PARK. APPROXIMATELY 3 MINUTES LATER NOTICED SMOKE FROM UNDER HOOD. FIRE SPREAD TOO RAPIDLY FOR EFFECTIVE USE OF FIRE EXTINGUISHER. ENGINE COMPARTMENT WAS FULLY INVOLVED UPON FIRE DEPT ARRIVAL, WITH RADIANT HEAT AND SMOKE DAMAGE TO THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. THE VEHICLE IS CONSIDERED A TOTAL LOSS. UPON INVESTIGATION THE FIRE ORIGINATED IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND MOST LIKELY WAS DUE TO FAILURE OF THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OR A COMPONENT OF THE TRANSMISSION. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD F-250. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH THE CLEANING EXHAUST AND STOP ENGINE, WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT CONTROL PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE TECHNICIAN REPLACED THE HEAT SENSOR. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 2300. THE CONTACT NOTICED WHITE AND BLUE SMOKE EMITTING FROM THE EXHAUST PIPE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED SPONTANEOUSLY WHEN DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER ON 16 TIMES FOR THE FAILURE. THE TECHNICIANS WERE UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 5,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD F-250 SD. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED A VIBRATION FROM THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE PROGRESSED UNTIL THE FRONT END WOULD SHAKE VIOLENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TWO DIFFERENT MECHANICS FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MECHANICS WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE TIRES WERE REPLACED TWICE IN AN ATTEMPT TO CORRECT THE FAILURE HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.
ON 1/3/09 WHILE DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY AT NIGHT, HEADLIGHTS TURNED OFF. A FEW SECONDS LATER THE LIGHTS CAME BACK ON. AFTER DRIVING ABOUT 25 - 30 MILES THE LIGHTS DID THE SAME THING. IT WAS -50 DEGREES OUTSIDE AT THE TIME. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS SINCE EXCEPT THE VEHICLE BURNED UP ON 1/21/09 FOR UNKNOWN REASON. *TR
