AFTER 45000 MILES THE CLUTCH PEDAL STARTED TO GET STUCK ON OCCASION. AT 47000 MILES THE TRANSMISSION FAILED WITH THE CLUTCH PEDAL STUCK ALL THE WAY DOWN IN TRAFFIC AND THE TRANSMISSION WAS LEAKING FLUID. IT ENDED UP BEING THE SLAVE CYLINDER THAT NEEDED REPLACING. GIVEN THAT I DO NOT DRIVE A LOT THIS FAILED OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY WHILE MANY OTHER HAVE GOTTEN IT REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY AS IT APPEARS TO FAIL ON 2014 MODELS BETWEEN 40000 AND 50000 MILES.
THE DSP6 DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION IN THIS CAR IS UNRELIABLE AND DANGEROUS. THIS IS EXHIBITED VIA FREQUENT SHUTTERING, STALLING, LURCHING FORWARD, AND LOSS OF VEHICLE POWER WHEN IT SWITCHES TO NEUTRAL AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. IN ONE INSTANCE THE VEHICLE LURCHED FORWARD INTO AN INTERSECTION AT WHICH POINT I WAS ALMOST HIT BY CROSS TRAFFIC. IN ANOTHER INSTANCE, TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, THE TRANSMISSION SWITCHED TO NEUTRAL ON IT'S OWN AND I WAS ALMOST HIT BY A ANOTHER CAR FROM BEHIND.
DOOR LATCH HAD FAILED AND WAS NOTICED AFTER GETTING OUT OF CAR THE CAR IN A PARKING LOT. WENT TO CLOSE THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR AND WAS ALMOST HIT BY IT BOUNCING BACK DUE TO THE LATCH BEING INOPERABLE.

TRANSMISSION SHIFTS INTO NEUTRAL UPON AGGRESSIVE ACCELERATION. JERKY SHIFTING AT NORMAL DRIVING SPEEDS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FIESTA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE COOLANT SYSTEM ON THE ENGINE FAILED SEVERAL TIMES. ALSO, WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO LOSE POWER AND STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, WHILE EXITING THE HIGHWAY, THE ENGINE COMPLETELY FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S HOME. WHEN THE FAILURE INITIALLY OCCURRED, THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO BOB DAVIDSON FORD LINCOLN (1845 E JOPPA RD, BALTIMORE, MD 21234, 410-661-6400) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE HEAD GASKET WAS DEFECTIVE AND A NEW ENGINE WAS NEEDED. THE CONTACT PURCHASED A USED ENGINE AND PERFORMED THE REPAIR ON HIS OWN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED FOR THE MOST RECENT FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
HAVE HAD CONSTANT ISSUES WITH THE RADIO UNIT, NOW ON MY 2ND UNIT. RADIO STARTS MAKING A POPPING, CRACKLING, THUMPING LOUD SOUND FROM THE SPEAKERS, UNTIL STOPS WORKING WITH NO SOUND. THEN THESE THUMPING SOUNDS ARE GENERATED EVEN WITH THE RADIO OFF (NOT PLAYING ANYTHING)! WHICH I PRESUME A SHORT OR WIRING ISSUE. I'M SHOCKED WE HAVEN'T GOTTEN IN AN ACCIDENT FROM JUMPING/JERKING THE STEERING WHEEL WHEN IT HAPPENS. MANY COMPLAINTS ONLINE TO FORD ABOUT FIESTAS AND FOCUS VEHICLES BUT THEY HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING, AND THE DEALER JUST WANTS TO CHARGE FOR LABOR JUST FOR INSPECTING. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS ISSUE. THANKS
THE TRANSMISSION IN MY CAR HAS HAD SHUTTERING, AND I HAVE LOST ACCELERATION AT TIMES. THESE EVENTS HAPPEN WHILE THE CAR IS IN GEAR AND I AM DRIVING. I HAVE HAD THE CAR IN THE SHOP 3 TIMES FOR TRANSMISSION WORK. THE CLUTCH HAS BEEN REPLACED 3 TIMES, AND IT HAS HAD REPROGRAMMING SEVERAL TIMES. THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. I WAS TOLD I HAVE ONE MORE CLUTCH REPLACEMENT FROM FORD, THEN MY WARRANTY WILL EXPIRE. DOCUMENTATION CAN BE PROVIDED UPON REQUEST.
I HAD TO RECENTLY PARK MY VEHICLE. REBUILT MY TRANSMISSION 70,000 & 92,000 TRANSMISSION STILL CONTINUED TO SLIP, NO POWER ON FREEWAY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FIESTA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH AND APPROACHING A TRAFFIC LIGHT, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED; HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY ACCELERATED. ADDITIONALLY, THERE WERE OCCASIONS WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD SPUTTER AND VIBRATE ABNORMALLY WHILE BEING DRIVEN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO GAUDIN FORD (LOCATED AT 6625 W ROY HORN WAY, LAS VEGAS, NV 89118, (702) 534-3094) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DUAL CLUTCH INSTALLED DURING THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS WAS FAULTY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,000.
The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated while driving 30-35 MPH, the vehicle decelerated, then accelerated unintendedly. The contact released the accelerator pedal and continued driving. The contact also stated that the vehicle jerked and was not operating as needed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the transmission element A was stuck. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the TCM had failed and needed to be replaced. The dealer then diagnosed that the transmission clutch assembly, the transmission lever, and bearings needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The contact stated that she had previously filed a complaint regarding a similar failure. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.
CAR HAS BEEN JUMPING SINCE I GOT IT IN 2016, THE PLACE I GOT IT FROM SAID IT WAS NORMAL AND NOW THE ENGINE LIGHT AND TRANSMISSION LIGHT IS ON
TAKATA RECAL 2014 FORD FIESTA SE EVER SINCE I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE I NOTICED THAT SOMETHING FUNNY WITH THE TRANSMISSION. AT LOWER RPMS YOU WILL HEAR SOMETHING LIKE BROKEN PARTS CLANKING AROUND IN THE TRANSMISSION I ASSUME. WHEN YOU ACCELERATE IT DOES NOT KEEP A STEADY INCREASE OF SPEED WHEN YOU APPLY THE SAME PRESSURE ON THE GAS PEDAL, IN FACT IT WILL DOWN SHIFT INTO A LOWER GEAR AND REV TO A REALLY HI RPM .I WOULD UNDERSTAND THIS IF I WAS GIVING IT A LOT OF GAS BUT I AM NOT, AND AM FIRM ON THE GAS PEDAL. THIS IS VERY UNSAFE AND THIS PIECE OF JUNK SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE CALLED A VEHICLE.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 17V209000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) AND 15V005000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 48,101.
MY TRANSMISSION SEEMS TO BE OFF, I'M HAVING TROUBLE WHEN DRIVING WITH IT "SKIPPING" ITS HARDER FOR IT TO ACCELERATE WHEN DRIVING. YOU HEAR A FEW THUDS AND THEN MY RPMS WILL GO UP BEFORE THE CAR WILL MOVE. I DON'T REALLY KNOW THE PROPER TERMS. IT CAN HAPPEN ANYTIME REGARDLESS IF I'M AT A STOP LIGHT OR JUST DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. IT HAS HAPPENED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. I'VE NEVER HAD A TRANSMISSION DO THIS. IT CAN BE SCARY WHEN I START TO DRIVE AND THEN MY CAR DOESN'T MOVE BUT INSTEAD MAKES THE THUDDING NOISE BEFORE EVENTUALLY TAKING OFF FASTER THAN EXPECTED. DRIVERS SIDE DOOR WOULD NOT CLOSE "LATCH" THIS ALSO HAS PREVIOUSLY HAPPENED ON THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR DOOR. A RECALL IS IN EFFECT FOR SOME 2014 FORD FIESTA'S BUT THIS ONE IS NOT ON THE LIST. WAS STATIONARY BUT ONCE THE DOOR WAS OPEN COULD NOT BE CLOSED DUE TO THE DOOR LATCH NOT WORKING PROPERLY. HAVE TAKEN THIS TO THE LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAY IT IS NOT UNDER RECALL FOR THIS VIN
MY VEHICLE SUDDENLY CUT POWER TO THE ENGINE WHILE DRIVING DOWN MY STRAIGHT STREET. NO WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON. IT REFUSED TO START AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO JUMP IT WITH DIFFERENT VEHICLES AND CABLES. HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED A FAILED FUEL PUMP.
TAKATA RECALL - MY FORD FIESTA THAT I BOUGHT IN OCTOBER OF 2017 ONLY HAS 47,000 MILES AND THE TRANSMISSION IS ALREADY GOING OUT. WHEN I ACCELERATE TO GO ON THE HIGHWAY IT FEELS LIKE I'M NOT MOVING AND MY WHEEL WILL SOMETIMES JERK TO THE SIDE. MY STEERING WHEEL ALSO VIBRATES WHEN I'M IN PARK OR BRAKING. I CAN ALSO FEEL THE VIBRATION ON THE PEDAL. I TRY TO TAKE IT EASY ON THE GAS BUT THE TRANSMISSION STILL JERKS WHEN SHIFTING GEARS. I KNOW THESE TRANSMISSIONS WERE RECALLED JULY OF 2017 AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER.
WHILE DRIVING REAR DRIVER'S DOOR OPENED AND WILL NOT LATCH CLOSED. HAD TO TIE DOOR DOWN WITH TAPE TO KEEP IT CLOSED. TOOK IT TO FORD DEALER IN CASA GRANDE, ARIZONA AND WAS TOLD THAT IT IS NOT PART OF RECALL. COULD NOT AFFORD TO GET IT FIXED.
WHILE SITTING IDLE AND DRIVING THE THROTTLE IS GETTING STUCK OPEN, THIS BEING AN AUTOMATIC VEHICLE IS MAKING IT VERY UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THIS KEEPS HAPPENING EVERY OTHER DAY. I SHUT IT DOWN AND START IT BACK UP AND IT GOES AWAY THEN COMES BACK WITHIN 5 MINS.

NATIONAL RD, VANDALIA, OH) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE CYLINDER MALFUNCTIONED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE AND WAS REPAIRED IN 2017. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
IT JUST STARTED RUNNING RUFF MY FAN WENT OUT FIRST THEN MY RADIO NOW THE TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPIN AND FEELS LIKE BREAKS ARE GRINDING
THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH EVERY OWNER OF FIESTAS THAT I KNOW. I'M IN A COMMUNITY OF FIESTA OWNERS AND NEARLY EVERY ONE OF THEM HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. THE COMPUTER STEREO IN THE CENTER CONSOLE STOPS WORKING MID DRIVE. DISTRACTS DRIVER FROM THE ROAD.
DUE TO THE POOR DESIGN OF THE DSP6 TRANSMISSION, I HAVE ALMOST BEEN IN QUITE A FEW ACCIDENTS WHEN PULLING INTO TRAFFIC ON A CITY STREET AND THE TRANSMISSION SHUTTERS AND SHAKES SO BADLY THAT I LOSE POWER AND HAVE ALMOST BEEN HIT. FORD NEEDS TO BE HONEST AND UPFRONT WITH THE HARDWORKING PEOPLE THAT SHELLED OUT GOOD MONEY AND REPAIR THE PROBLEM!
OPEN RECALL FOR FUEL SYSTEM FOR THIS YEARS CAR TO THOSE MADE UP TO JUNE 2014. MY CAR SHOULD FALL UNDER THIS AS IT WILL NOT PASS EMISSIONS AND THEREFORE REGISTRATION DUE TO THE FUEL SYSTEM WHICH STALLS OUT EVERY TIME I FILL UP FOR GAS. MY CAR WAS MANUFACTURED IN JULY. ADDITIONALLY, THE SUSPENSION NEEDS TO BE COMPLETELY REPLACED DUE TO FAILURE. EVEN MY MECHANIC IS COMPLETELY BAFFLED WHY A NEWER CAR WOULD HAVE SO MANY SAFETY ISSUES.
CAR STALLS INTERMITTENTLY AND NOW FUEL PUMP SEIZED.
DRIVER'S SIDE REAR PASSENGER DOOR UNLACHES WHILE CAR IS IN MOTION.
I WAS DRIVING ON A ROAD, APPROACHING A 4WAY INTERSECTION; THE CAR ENGINE STOPPED. THE SCREEN STATED TRANSMISSION FAILURE. SERVICE IMMEDIATELY. MY CAR RESTARTED AND THE SCREEN CLEARED. I PROCEEDED ON AND WITHIN APPROXIMATELY 100 YARDS THE SCREEN REPEATED THE TRANSMISSION MESSAGE. I THEN TURNED AROUND TO RETURN TO MY HOME AS THE DEALER WAS CLOSED. I ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT FORD MOTOR COMPANY. BUT IT WAS SUNDAY. MONDAY I AGAIN CALLED AND WAS TOLD THAT I HAD EXTENDED COVERAGE ON THE TRANSMISSION, TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER. I HAVE HAD REPEATED WORK ON THIS VEHICLE'S TRANSMISSION SINCE I PURCHASED IT IN 2015. I HAVE NOT BEEN CHARGED FOR THESE REPAIRS, BUT THE INCONVENIENCE AND THE POTENTIAL FOR FAILURE OF THE VEHICLE HAVE NOT BEEN ADDRESSED. I HAD SLID THROUGH THE INTERSECTION WHEN THE CAR CAME TO A STOP. LUCKILY THERE WAS NO ONCOMING TRAFFIC.
MY CAR STALLS RIGHT AFTER I FILL UP MY GAS TANK WITH GAS. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME WHEN I AM LEAVING THE GAS STATION, ONCE WHEN I WAS DRIVING THROUGH AN INTERSECTION AND MANY TIMES WHEN I AM PULLING INTO TRAFFIC TO LEAVE THE GAS STATION PARKING LOT (ALMOST AT A COMPLETE STOP). MY OWN MECHANIC TESTED THE PROBLEM AND SAID IT WAS MY PURGE VALVE WHICH I LEARNED WAS RECALLED FOR SOME FIESTAS BUT MY FIESTA VIN IS NOT INCLUDED DESPITE HAVING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM THAT WAS RECALLED. I TOOK MY CAR TO A FORD DEALER AND HE SAID THEY WOULD NOT FIX THE PROBLEM UNLESS I PAID FOR A REPAIR.
CAR CURRENTLY HAS 90K MI AND THE CLUTCH IS BAD $1700 FOR DEALER TO REPLACE. FORD EXTENDED WARRANTY TO 150K MI ON TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE WHICH IS INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION. THE DEALER REPLACED THE MODULE AT NO COST AND THEN THE MODULE STARTING LEAKING TRANSMISSION FLUID AND AS A RESULT THERE WAS A ROARING NOISE FROM ONE OF THE BEARINGS WHICH IS INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION. FORD AND THE DEALERSHIP REFUSES TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS. THE WORN CLUTCH AND TRANSMISSION MALFUNCTIONS IS A KNOW ISSUE ON THESE VEHICLES. WHILE DRIVING THE CAR LOSS ACCELERATION AND IT JERKS WHEN TAKING OFF AND LOSS OF POWER AND THE AC DOESN'T BLOW OUT COLD AIR. STAY AWAY FROM FORD
AFTER HAVING A FLAT TIRE, I FIND THAT THE INCLUDED LUG WRENCH WILL NOT FIT THE LUG NUTS. AFTER A GOOD SAMARITAN STOPPED TO HELP ME, AND HAD A 4 WAY WRENCH, WE FOUND THAT THE LUGS WOULD JUST SPIN. THEY WOULD NOT LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN. AFTER 3 HOURS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, AND 3 PHONE CALLS TO THE LOCAL FORD DEALER, HE TOLD US THE LUGS HAD AN OUTER LAYER THAT WOULD SWELL OVER TIME CAUSING THIS PROBLEM. WE HAD TO PUT A SOCKET ON THE LUG NUT AND BEAT THE SOCKET ON, TO SQUEEZE DOWN THE OUTER LAYER ONTO THE ACTUAL LUG. IF NOT FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S KINDNESS, I WOULD'VE BEEN STUCK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, HAVING TO CALL A TOW TRUCK, FOR A SIMPLE NAIL IN MY TIRE. LUG WRENCHES AND SPARE TIRES HAVE NO PURPOSE WHEN YOU CANNOT GET THE LUGS OFF. AFTER HAVING THIS PROBLEM AND RESEARCHING IT, I HAVE FOUND THIS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH ALMOST ALL FORD MODEL VEHICLES, AND SO FAR, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO FIX IT. THIS IS A MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HAZARD THAT CAN EASILY BE FIXED BY SOLID LUG NUTS INSTEAD OF THE JUNK THAT IS STILL BEING USED BY FORD. NOW I HAVE OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES TO REPLACE LUGS, BECAUSE OF A BAD DESIGN.
THE VEHICLE STALLS WHILE DRIVING OR TURNING AND THE TRANSMISSION WARNING KEEPS COMING UP ON THE DASHBOARD ALSO IT HAS MADE THE ENGINE INDICATOR STAY ON. WHEN THE CAR IS PARKED AND ON IT SEEMS IT HAS NO ISSUES THEN WHEN YOU TAKE IT OUT OF PARK IT STARTS STALLING IMMEDIATELY.
THROTTLE SENSOR. THROTTLE BODY AND THROTTLE BOX. EVEN AFTER REPLACING THIS. IT'S SAYING MECHANICAL FAILURE. AND AFTER CHECKING IT'S STILL SAYS THROTTLE SENSOR. *TR
AFTER FILLING THE CAR WITH FUEL, CAR TRIES TO STALL AND DROP RPM'S WHILE IDLING. CAR STALLED TWICE WHILE ROLLING TO A RED LIGHT AFTER FILLING UP. PROBLEM GOES AWAY AFTER 10-15 MINUTES OF DRIVING. RPM WHILE IDLING IS HIGHLY UNPREDICTABLE AFTER FILLING UP.
INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT FAILURE AT 42,000 MILES. UPPER JOINT HAS FAILED.THIS COMPRISES STEERING GREATLY. NEW PART ORDERED REPLACING MYSELF AS THIS IS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY.
MY VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, I OPENED MY DRIVER SIDE PASSENGER DOOR TO LET MY YOUNG SISTER INTO THE BACK SEAT AND THE DOOR WOULD NOT CLOSE AND LOCK INTO PLACE. THERE WAS NO VISUAL ISSUES WITH THE DOOR, BUT FROM THIS POINT ON I WAS UNABLE TO SECURELY CLOSE MY DOOR. I BELIEVE THIS IS A DOOR LATCH SAFETY ISSUES, WHICH HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED IN OTHER FORD MODEL CARS. *DT *TP
CAR OVERHEATED, BLEW HOSE, AND CRACKED CYLINDER WITH NEW FAN AND FLUID. CAR DOES NOT SHIFT CORRECTLY AND WILL SPEED FORWARD.
FORD COMPANY KNOWINGLY PUT FAULTY A TRANSMISSION IN THEIR VEHICLES. TO REMEDY THE SITUATION THEY THEN GAVE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR THE TRANSMISSION, BUT WHEN TAKE YOUR CAR TO A FORD DEALERSHIP THEY REFUSE TO REPAIR THINGS THAT PART OF THE TRANSMISSION. THIS IS VERY MISLEADING TO CONSUMERS AND A HAZARD FOR ME AND MY CHILDREN SAFETY ON THE ROAD. THE GEARS SHIFT WHILE IN MOTION, WHICH HAS ALMOST SEVERAL TIMES CAUSED OTHER VEHICLES TO HIT ME. THIS HAS BEEN A CONTINUOUS PROBLEM 2 YEARS AND THUS FAR I'VE TAKEN MY VEHICLE TO THREE DIFFERENT FORD DEALERSHIP AND NONE ARE WILLING TO UPHOLD THE FORD WARRANTY AND/OR ADDRESS THE ISSUE THAT FORD KNOWS IS A HAZARD. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who determined that the head gasket was blown. The vehicle was towed to another independent mechanic, who determined that the failure was due to the head gasket. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. FORD IS SAYING THAT THEY HAVE THE PARTS TO COVER THIS RECALL, BUT THEY ARE ON BACKORDER AND HARD TO GET, AND THE DEALERS DO NOT RECEIVE ADEQUATE PARTS TO DO THE JOB, NOR ARE THEY GETTING THE PROPER INSTRUCTIONS OR TRAINING TO DO THE JOB. MY CAR HAS BEEN IN FOR 25 DAYS, ON A JOB THAT IS SUPPOSED TO TAKE 5 HOURS, AND THERE IS NO WORD ON WHEN OR IF IT WILL EVER BE COMPLETED.
I WAS DRIVING AND MY DOOR FLEW OPEN. I'VE OWNED THE CAR 4 YEARS. I'VE HAD 2 TRANSMISSION CLUTCHES REPLACED, 2 SYNC SYSTEMS REPLACED, THERE HAVE BEEN OTHER PARTS BUT I DON'T HAVE THAT INFO AT THE MOMENT. THERE HAVE BEEN 8-9 PARTS IN TOTAL. SOME OF THE RECALLS I HAVE RESEARCHED WERE BEFORE I WAS SOLD THE CAR. I HAVE CONTACTED FORD MOTOR COMPANY AND WAS TOLD IF I DIDN'T LIKE IT, DON'T BUY ANOTHER FORD. I JUST HAD THE LATEST TRANSMISSION CLUTCH AND SYNC REPLACED A FEW MONTHS AGO AND ASKED ABOUT ANY CURRENT RECALLS AND WAS TOLD NONE AT THE MOMENT. I HAD MY WARNING LIGHT SENSOR CHECKED LAST MONTH BECAUSE IT CAME ON WHILE I WAS DRIVING. I WAS TOLD NOTHING WAS FOUND AND THEY RESET THE LIGHT. IT CAME BACK ON. STILL NOTHING FOUND. I HAVE CONTACTED THEM REPEATEDLY ONLY TO RECEIVE NO HELP. THESE CARS SHOULD'VE NEVER BEEN SOLD LIKE THIS MUCH LESS ALLOWED TO REMAIN ON THE ROAD!
WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE CAR STALLED. THE CAR WOULD NOT START AGAIN RETIRING TOWING TO REPAIR SHOP. THE REPAIR SHOP SAID THE FUEL PUMP WAS BAD. OTHER VINS FOR THIS YEAR/MAKE/MODEL WERE RECALLED FOR THIS EXACT ISSUE. I WAS TOLD MY VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. I BELIEVE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED. I HAD TO PAY TO REPAIR AN ISSUE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED BY THE RECALL.
PASSENGER REAR DOOR STOPPED CLOSING., WHILE MOVING, CANNOT CLOSE BECAUSE LATCH WILL NOT ENGAGED, AND SECURE DOOR.
I HAVE A 2014 FORD FIESTA WITH 88,000 MILES ON IT AND IT HAS THE FAULTY DPS6 TRANSMISSION THAT SLIPS OUT OF GEAR AND SHUDDERS SO BAD UNDER ACCELERATING THAT IT SOMETIMES BARELY MOVES, THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE AND FORD KNOWS IT! , I HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLE TO FORD TO ASSES THE TRANSMISSION AND THEY AGREED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED UNDER THE NEW EXTENDED WARRANTY THAT THEY OFFER, THE PROBLEM IS MY VEHICLE HAS A REBUILT TITLE AND THEY REFUSE TO DO THE WARRANTY WORK EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM AND FORD KNOW IT SINCE THEY ARE IN ARBITRATION FOR IT. JUST BECAUSE MY VEHICLE HAS A REBUILT TITLE DOESN'T MEAN THAT IT SHOULD NOT GET REPAIRED UNDER THE WARRANTY. THIS ISSUE NEEDS TO BE MADE A FACTORY RECALL SO THEY WILL HAVE TO FIX IT!

CONTACTED SUNLAND FORD IN VICTORVILLE, CA AND WE WERE TOLD THAT THE PART THAT FAILED WAS UNDER RECALL. ARRIVED AT THE DEALERSHIP THAT AFTERNOON ONLY TO FIND THAT THE RECALL PERIOD ENDED 60 DAYS BEFORE OUR VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED. WE BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE RELATED AND THAT THE RECALL SHOULD BE EXTENDED AGAIN AS WE LEARNED IT HAD BEEN EXTENDED ONCE BEFORE.

I THEN CHECKED THE FOR WEBSITE AND THERE IS AN OPEN RECALL FOR THE TRANSMISSION CONTROLL MODULE.I CALLED MY LOCAL FORD DEALER AND THEY WILL NOT WORK ON THE TRANSMISSION BECAUSE MY CAR HAS A SALVAGED TITLE.
