TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED POWER STEERING ASSIST FAILURE WHILE DRIVING AT 15 MPH. THE POWER STEERING ASSIST WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE POWER STEERING WAS REPLACED. APPROXIMATELY A YEAR LATER WHILE DRIVING AT 60 MPH, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO ANOTHER INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO INFORMED HIM OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V340000 (STEERING) HOWEVER, HIS VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 111,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD FUSION HYBRID. WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE CONTACT'S HUSBAND ATTEMPTED TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL, BUT WAS UNABLE TO BECAUSE IT WAS STIFF. THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL NOISE AND UNKNOWN WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO MATTHEWS CURRIE FORD (LOCATED AT 130 N TAMIAMI TRAIL, NOKOMIS, FL 34275, (877) 405-7194) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING GEAR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000. *BF *AS
2012 FORD FUSION POWER STEERING FAILURE ALMOST SET OFF RECALLED PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG WITH YOUNG PASSENGER I. FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. I WAS MAKING A U-TURN DOING ABOUT 7 MPH WHEN I LOST POWER STEERING AND NEARLY HIT THE CAR PULLING OUT FROM THE SERVICE STATION. LOSS OF POWER STEERING COULD HAVE CAUSED FATALITY OR SERIOUS INJURY TO MY PASSENGER DUE TO THE FAULTY AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT. I PURCHASED THE PRE-OWNED VEHICLE ON 4/19/2019. LOST POWER STEERING ON 4/20/2019. THE VEHICLE IS AT THE DEALER AS OF TODAY 4/22/2019 FOR THE AIRBAG RECALL BUT, DELAET IS SAYING FORD MAY NOT COVER THE POWER STEERING RECALL IF DIAGNOSTIC MACHINE DOESN'T PRODUCE CERTAIN COSTS. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE! LOSS OF POWER STEERING + FAULTY AIRBAG = SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. ANY REPORT OF POWER STEERING LOSS SHOULD = SAFETY RECALL.
THERE'S A INTERMITTENT POWER STEERING FAILURE. THAT'S DANGEROUS BECAUSE IS IMPOSSIBLE DRIVE WHEN THE FAILURE APPEARS.
BRAKES BEGAN TO FEEL SPONGY. I HAD A SMALL ACCIDENT WHEN I COULD NOT BRAKE CAUSING DAMAGE TO ANOTHER'S CAR. REPLACED THE BRAKE PADS, HAD THE SYSTEM BLED BUT NOW I HAVE NO BRAKES. I HAVE NO BRAKE PEDAL AT ALL. REPLACED THE MASTER CYLINDER, FRONT CALIPE, BRAKE BOOSTER, AND BRAKE STILL HAVE NO BRAKE PRESSURE AT ALLL.
CAR SUDDENLY LOSES ENGINE POWER (HAS HAPPENED 5 TIMES SINCE APRIL 2019) AND ON THE HIGHWAY JUST STARTS COASTING RAPIDLY SLOWING DOWN (LIKE IT IS ONLY USING BATTERY POWER). A WARNING LIGHT ALSO COME ON (A RED TRIANGLE WITH AN EXCLAMATION MARK IN THE MIDDLE) WITH THE WORDS "STOP SAFELY NOW" (SEE IMAGE). IN THE 5 TIMES IT HAS HAPPENED, THE FIRST TIME WAS AT APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH IN THE CITY, THE REMAINING TIMES WERE ALL AT 50-65 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY. EACH TIME, THERE WAS NO TURNING, BREAKING OR ACTIVATING ANY OTHER SYSTEM IN THE CAR (RADIO, CRUISE CONTROL ETC). IN EACH CASE, WE PULLED OVER AND TURNED OFF THE CAR. AFTER A FEW MINUTES, THE CAR WAS RESTARTED WITHOUT ISSUE UNTIL THE NEXT TIME IT HAPPENED (TYPICALLY EVERY 1-2 MONTHS EXCEPT THIS MONTH WHERE IT HAPPENED TWO DAYS IN A ROW).WHILE I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE CAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM IS, THERE ARE DOZENS OF REPORTS FROM OTHERS REPORTING A SIMILAR PROBLEM, SOME OF WHICH THEY THOUGHT WAS RELATED TO A PROBLEM WITH THE DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE FEEDBACK SENSOR (DPFE) AT FAULT SOME OF TIME, AND INCORRECTLY MEASURING EXHAUST GAS RE-CIRCULATION (EGR) PRESSURE (REPAIR PAL WEBSIE FOR EXAMPLE). THE WEB IS FULL OF THESE COMPLAINTS BUT WHEN WE TOOK THE CAR TO FORD, THEY CLAIM THAT THIS HAS NEVER BEEN REPORTED BEFORE. THEY TOOK THE CAR AND DROVE IT FOR A FEW MILES, DIDN'T HAVE THE PROBLEM AND SO SAID THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS. I DON'T WANT TO LET MY DAUGHTER DRIVE THE CARE ANYMORE BECAUSE I AM WORRIED OF HER HAVING AN ACCIDENT IF SHE IS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND SUDDENLY THE CAR STOPS. INTERESTINGLY, THIS PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE OCCURRING IN FORD FUSIONS OF MULTIPLE MODEL YEARS SUGGESTING THAT THERE IS A DEFECT IN DESIGN, PARTICULARLY SINCE SOME OF THE OCCURRENCES ARE BEING REPORTED IN NEWER MODEL YEARS.
ADVANCED TRACK SERVICE POWER STEERING
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15-20 MPH IN INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, BUT FAILED TO SLOW THE VEHICLE DOWN WITHIN A SAFE DISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE PADS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE BRAKE PADS WERE REPLACED THREE ADDITIONAL TIMES. ADDITIONALLY, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SEAL AROUND THE WINDSHIELD FAILED AND WATER LEAKED FROM THE WINDSHIELD DOWN BEHIND THE DASHBOARD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AN APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED; HOWEVER, A LOANER VEHICLE WOULD NOT BE PROVIDED. SEVERAL UNKNOWN DEALERS AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE CALLED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
TAKATA RECALL - FORD DEALERSHIP HAS FAILED TO FIX THIS CARS AIRBAG. I'VE MADE NUMEROUS APPTS THAT HAVE EITHER BEEN CANCELLED OR FORGOTTEN BY THE DEALERSHIP DUE TO UNAVAILABLE PARTS, OR HUMAN ERROR. IVE BEEN TOLD THE PARTS WERE ON ORDER, THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE, THERE WERE FAR TOO MANY RECALLS AND THE DEALERSHIP COULDNT MERT THE DEMAND, AND ALSO COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN ALTOGETHER! DEALERSHIP WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL US TO FIX THIS AFTER FAILED APPOINTMENTS AND NEVER FOLLOWED THROUGH. MY CAR WAS JUST UPDATED WITH A $300 VALUE LOSS BECAUSE OF IT. THIS CAR IS COMPLETELY PAID OFF.
I HAVE BEEN HAVING ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS SINCE I PURCHASED THE CAR IN 2012. CURRENTLY, MY HORN DOES NOT WORK AS WELL AS OTHER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS OF MY CAR. ANOTHER EXAMPLE, WOULD BE MY SEAT BELT, WHICH HAS BEEN AN ONGOING ISSUE.THE SERVICE PROVIDER AT FORD TOLD ME TO LET MY CAR RUN A LITTLE,. AND THEN IT WOULD WORK. SO FAR, STILL HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. AT THIS TIME, WITH MY HORN NOT WORKING, IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE, AS I HAVE ALMOST GOTTEN INTO 3 ACCIDENTS THUS FAR, I HAVE CONTACTED THE FORD CEO AND KAREN JOHNSON, ANOTHER EXECUTIVE OF FORD AND HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING FROM EITHER ONE OF THEM. I NEED MY CAR FIXED AS ALL THESE ISSUES ARE SAFETY RELATED AND EACH DAY THAT I DRIVE WITH THE CONCERNS, PUT MYSELF AND MY FAMILY IN DANGER.
POWER STEERING ASSIST FAILURE MESSAGE SHOWED UP ON THE DASH DECEMBER 2018 AND JUST RECENTLY APPEARED ON APRIL 9, 2019. THERE WAS NO POWER STEERING AT ALL AND MADE IMPOSSIBLE TO DRIVE. CAR WAS RECENTLY PURCHASED IN JULY OF 2018 AND IT WAS USED.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. CROSSROADS FORD (2351 RTE 9W, RAVENA, NY 12143, (518) 756-4000) WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
TAKATA RECALL. FORD HAS NOT GOT THE PARTS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE REPAIR. I SCHEDULED TO HAVE THIS DONE 6 WEEKS AGO. NOW THEY SAY IT WILL BE JUNE BEFORE THEY GET TO IT SINCE THEY DON'T HAVE THE PARTS. IS THERE A TIME LIMIT AS TO WHEN THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE THE REPAIRS MADE ?
I HAD AN ACCIDENT WITH MY CAR.IT WAS BASICALLY A T BONE ACCIDENT TO A LARGE SUV . IT WAS A REALLY BAD ACCIDENT BUT SURPRISED THAT THE AIR BAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY. I ENDED UP GOING TO THE EMERGENCY AND WAS TOLD THAT I HAVE MUSCLE INFLAMMATION . I ALSO HIT THE BOTTOM OF MY RIGHT LEG AND HAVE MULTIPLE BRUISES. I WAS WEARING SEATBELT THAT HELPED ME BUT NO AIRBAG WAS ACTIVATED.
BRAKE PEDAL WILL GO ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR AND NOT STOP THE CAR. AT TIMES THE ABS WILL APPEAR TO ACTIVATE. THIS COULD BE ON DRY PAVEMENT OR ICE ROAD SURFACE. HAS BEEN IN THE SERVICE SHOP SEVERAL TIMES AND STILL NO SOLUTION. THIS CAR HAS UNDER 60K MILES.
TAKATA RECALL - EVERY FORD DEALER SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT I CALL SAYS THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE THE REPLACEMENT AIRBAG PARTS AND ARE NOT SURE WHEN THEY ARE COMING IN. THEY SEEM TO BE STALLING TO DO THE REPAIR OR THERE IS A REAL ISSUE WITH SUPPLY.

SHEEHY FORD OF MARLOW HEIGHTS (5000 AUTH RD, MARLOW HEIGHTS, MD 20746, (301) 298-0793) DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING SENSOR SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000. *BF. CONSUMER STATED DIAGNOSED COMMUNICATION HAD A PROBLEM AND STEERING WHEEL WAS HARD TO TURN. DEALER HAD CAR FOR 23 DAYS MONTH LATER SAME ISSUE. VEHICLE WAS NEVER LOOKED AT. RECALL WAS MENTIONED BY THE CONSUMER BY DEALER DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE IT. CONSUMER HAS CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER.*JB
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY LAST NIGHT AN ALARM WENT OFF ON MY DASH READING: "SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW" SECONDS LATER A SECOND WARNING DINGED EXPLAINING TO "SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC". AS WELL A PICTURE LIT UP ON THE DASH REPRESENTING "ADVANCETRAC" SERVICE. MY CAR STARTED TO VEER RIGHT WHILE I WAS HOLDING THE STEERING WHEEL. I TRIED STRAIGHTENING BACK TO AVOID HITTING THE CARS NEXT TO ME BUT THE STEERING WHEEL WAS WAY OFF TRACK, NOT ALIGNED WITH MY TIRES. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE SO I AM VERY CONCERNED. ONCE I WAS ABLE TO GET HOME SAFELY I LOOKED UP THE ISSUE & THERES A RECALL FOR SOME OF MY EXACT CAR MODELS. I CHECKED MY TIRES, RESET MY BATTERY TURNED THE WHEEL BUT NO CHANGE AND MY CAR IS STILL IN GOOD CONDITION. THE AIR BAG SIGN IS ON NOW & HAS NOT WENT OFF. I HAVE HAD ANOTHER RECALL FAILURE IN THE PAST THAT STARTED WHILE DRIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. I JUST HOPE I DONT DIE DURING THE NEXT SYSTEM FAILURE.
I WAS DRIVING 25 MPH AND THE STEERING WHEEL GOT HARD TO TURN NOW IS TOO HARD TO TURNED
I WAS DRIVING MY 2012 FORD FUSION TO WORK ONE DAY WHEN SUDDENLY I GOT AN ALERT READING "SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW" AND WAS NO LONGER ABLE TO USE MY POWER STEERING WHICH MADE TURNING EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. I WAS ON A HIGHWAY AND HAD TO PULL OVER AND PARK IN THE CLOSEST FUEL STATION.
DRIVER SIDE DOOR WILL NOT OPEN FROM THE INSIDE. WHEN INSIDE THE VEHICLE THE DOOR HANDLE FEELS LOOSE AND MOVES FREELY WHEN PULLING BUT THE DOOR WILL NOT OPEN. YOU CAN OPEN THE DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE.

WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL NOISE AND THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO TURN AND THE STEERING ASSIST FAILURE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT CALLED PAT & DAN'S DELBALSO FORD (LOCATED AT 249 MARKET ST, KINGSTON, PA 18704, (570) 288-4501) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING RATE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 153,000.
WHILE IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET, THE ABS LIGHT, THE RED BRAKE LIGHT, AND THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. BRAKE PEDAL ENGAGEMENT REQUIRES MORE TRAVEL TO ENGAGE THE BRAKES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LINCOLN DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR. THE DEALER NOTED THAT THE ABS MODULE FAILED. AFTER A CLOSE INSPECTION, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE ABS MODULE HAD FAILED DUE TO BRAKE FLUID CONTAMINATION. THE ABS MODULE WAS REPLACED, BUT I'M CONCERNED MORE WITH THE APPARENT CAUSE, WHICH APPEARS TO BE THE DEGRADATION OF THE ABS HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU), WHERE THE ABS MODULE ATTACHES TO. THE ABS MODULE SHOULD HAVE ZERO FLUID CONTAMINATION. IT WOULD SEEM THAT THE REPLACEMENT ABS MODULE WILL FAIL FROM THE FLUID INGRESS CONTAMINATION AGAIN. PLEASE REVIEW ATTACHED PHOTOS AND RECEIPT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO ALL AMERICAN FORD IN PARAMUS (375 NJ-17, PARAMUS, NJ 07652) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE FORD MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V340000 (STEERING). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
DRIVING WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN I COULD NOT STEER MY CAR. POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT MESSAGE.

I WAS GOING 55 MILES AN HOUR ON BUSY STREET IN FLORIDA, ALL OF SUDDEN CAR WAS GETTING NO GAS, HAD TO PULL OVER, SHUT OFF CAR AND RESTART, THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE, VERY SPURATIC, VERY DANGEROUS, HAD IT TOWED TO EXECUTIVE AUTO, THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING, AND COULD NOT GET IT TO FAIL AGAIN. DO NOT TRUST IT
WHEN I WAS DECELERATING THE CAR WOULD VIBRATE. ONLY HAPPENED IN TOWN, NOT ON HIGHWAY. I WAS TOLD I HAD TO REPLACE THE DRIVESHAFT AND LEFT SPRING, WHICH WAS BROKEN!
DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AND MSG POPPED UP AND SAID SERVICE POWERTRAC AND SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW. STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP AND BECAME HARD TO TURN.
TAKATA RECALL AS OF TODAY MAY 10,2019 WE HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANY RECALL ORDER FOR AIR BAGS SYSTEM.ALSO OUR CAR IS LOOSING POWER WHILE DRIVING IT.TO A COMPLETE STALL. THIS IS BE ADDRESS WITH OUR MECHANIC, SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO REPAIR.ISSUES CONTINUES

AFTER ATTEMPTING TO HAVE THE REPAIR COMPLETED THE SERVICE MANAGER JAY TOLD ME TO CONTINUE USING THE VEHICLE AND I WOULD BE CONTACTED IN THE FUTURE IF A PART BECAME AVAILABLE. MY CONCERN IS SINCE THERE WAS NO MENTION OF A SAFETY ISSUE BY THE SERVICE MANAGER THAT THE REPAIR WILL NOT BE PROPERLY DONE ONCE THEY DO HAVE THE PARTS. CAN YOU HELP ME FIND SOMEONE WE CAN TRUST TO MAKE THE REPAIR PROPERLY ONCE PARTS ARE AVAILABLE?

ON MARCH 11, 2019 AS I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP AND WITH ALL MY STRENGTH WAS BARELY ABLE TO NAVIGATE MY 2012 FORD FUSION SAFELY TO MY HOME. DURING THIS INCIDENT I HAD THE 'SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW' INDICATION ON THE IPC (INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER) AS WELL AND AN ADVANTRAC (FORD'S TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM) LIGHT. THE FOLLOWING DAY I CALLED AND ASKED THE FORD SERVICE ADVISOR IF THERE HAD BEEN A RECALL IN THE PAST FOR POWER STEERING ISSUES ON THIS MODEL. HE SAID NO BUT FOR ME TO TAKE THE CAR IN FOR A DIAGNOSTIC CHECK. I HAD MY CAR TOWED TO CORWIN FORD ON MARCH 12 FOR A CHECK-UP. ON SUCH DATE I GET A CALL FROM CORWIN FORD NOTING THEY WOULD NEED TO REPLACE EPAS AND FRONT SUSPENSION FRONT AND REAR LOWER CONTROL ARMS FOR $3,420. AND ONCE AGAIN, THE SERVICE ADVISOR STATED THAT THERE HAD NEVER BEEN A RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE. I CAN'T AFFORD TO FIX THIS ISSUE AND WILL BE HAVING MY CAR TOWED BACK TO MY HOUSE TOMORROW. I PAID FORD $144 TODAY FOR THE SERVICE CHECK.

VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY WHEN POWER STEERING WENT OUT AND ADVANCE TRAC. DEALERSHIP FAILS TO ACKNOWLEDGE WHY THEY ADVISE A NEW POWER STEERING RACK AND NEW CONTROL ARMS. WAS TOLD CONTROL ARMS ARE SEIZING UP PUTTING TOO MUCH STRESS ON THE POWER STEERING AND SHORTENING IT OUT. THE LOW TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON INSIDE THE DASH AS I WAS PULLING INTO MY DRIVEWAY. SO I DROVE ABOUT .01MILE TO GET AIR. AFTER I PUT AIR IN THE TIRE,STARTED THE CAR AND IMMEDIATELY GOT A WARNING THAT POWER STEERING NEEDED SERVICING. THEN GOT ANOTHER WARNING THAT ADVANCE TRACK NEEDED SERVICING. ALL HAPPENED AT THE SAME TIME AND THE POWER STEERING WAS COMPLETELY GONE OUT. THE DEALERSHIP QUOTED ME $1809 TO FIX THE STEERING RACK. THE SERVICE DEPT SAID THE GEAR INSIDE THE POWER STEERING RACK HAS GONE BAD AND THE CONTROL ARMS IT SITS ON HAS WORN OUT THE GEAR THEREFORE NEEDING FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS COSTING $1213.23
I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE SUDDENLY THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT WHEN I HAD A FLAT TIRE. THEY SENT ME AN ESTIMATE AND I DID NOT AGREE TO A $135 DIAGNOSTIC FEE WHEN THERE WAS A RECALL ON THIS SPECIFICALLY. I TOOK THE CAR BACK, THEY KEPT MY WHEEL AND STATED THAT THEY DID THE RECALL WORK ON BOTH THE AIRBAG AND THE STEERING, BUT NEITHER WAS PERFORMED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY STEERING RECALLS. THE CONTACT WAS HOLDING OFF ON THE STEERING REPAIR UNTIL A RECALL WAS ISSUED; HOWEVER, THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. THE POWER STEERING WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE/PROBLEM ON MONDAY, 4/1/19. THEY SAID THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE RECALL.
