My Wife went out to the truck 2025 Ford Maverick XLT FX4 OFF ROAD PACKAGE TOWING PACKAGE LUXURY PACKAGE to back out of our drive way as She ALWAYS Does and instead of reverse she ended up in the garage door. it went forward I have a picture to show it was in reverse tried to engage emergency brake tried to put it in park and nothing worked until she was in the door and crashed. NO COLLISION ALARMS OR PREVENTIVE COLLISION HELP THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE ON THESE TRUCKS. thank god no one was SERIOUSLY HURT that we know of BUT IT LITERALLY MESSED WITH MY PTSD AND MENTAL HEALTH. she sat in the vehicle and cried because its brand New and there is less than 400 miles on it. so know I have to pay for a GARAGE door that I don't own and fix a brand new truck. that I have only made 3 payments on. I don't have pictures of front yet because I'm afraid to move it until the tow truck comes to get it in the morning. then I will get to see the truck damage
I got out of my truck this morning once I arrived at work and the parking brake function unavailable message came on. I got back in and started the vehicle and Parking Brake Unavailable, Advanced Trac unavailable, Hill Descent Assist unavailable, ABS unavailable, and Forward Collision/ Lane-Keeping System unavailable messages were all on dash. Attempted to take my truck to Ford of Murfreesboro as there is a recall that is out on this issue for some 2025 Maverick EcoBoost trucks, even though it doesn't show up on my VIN, all symptoms on the recall I am experiencing. Ford of Murfreesboro service personnel was rude from the start and when I told them I didn't have an appointment, but feel like this is a safety concern they were quick to tell me it would be over a week before they could even look at it, and even if I had an appointment, it wouldn't be looked at for a week. Worst experience I have ever had with a dealership, and I will be an advocate that people DO NOT bring their vehicle to Ford of Murfreesboro if they want to actually be taken care of if their vehicle has any issues.
Pre-collision system became unavailable. System reported camera obstruction, but windshield was clear. Similar to issues in August 2025. August issue was temporary fixed via software update and reset at dealership. Suspect recurring software or physical issue with safety equipment.
Precollision assist became unavailable twice while driving during my first few days of driving.
