Backup camara is not working
Noticed vehicle was running rough on idle intermittently when sitting at a stop. I thought this was due to it being a very cold winter where I am located, but after a couple months, check engine light came on and was immediately brought in for service. Coolant was found leaking into a cylinder and I had to have head gasket as well as upper portion of engine replaced. From the research I have done there have been a lot of people with the same issue as mine and a design flaw in spacing between cylinders. Incident occurred less than 10,000 miles out of warranty and was not covered.

The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 71,000.
TWO PIECE LUG NUTS. DEALER WILL NOT ROTATE TIRES BECAUSE OF SWELLED LUG NUTS. REASON GIVEN DAMAGE CAN OCCUR AND I COULD NOT CHANGE A TIRE IF I HAD A FLAT, BECAUSE MY LUG NUT WRENCH WOULD NOT FIT THE LUGS. I HAVE ANOTHER FORD WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FO R NEW LUG NUTS, THIS SHOULD BE FORDS' RESPONSIBILITY!
The contact owns a 2019 Ford Mustang. The contact stated while driving and reversing at an undisclosed speed, the park-aid fault, and pre-collision assists were not available, and another unknown message was displayed. Additionally, the rear-view camera was inoperable while reversing. The gear indicator failed to display on the instrument panel. The rev-matching feature was also inoperable while downshifting. Upon investigation, the contact discovered that the VIN was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V382000 (Power Train). The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The dealer informed the contact that the vehicle had previously been repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V382000 (Power Train). The failure recurred, and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer. The dealer determined that the clutch, flywheel, and slave cylinder needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 23,000.
My 2019 Mustang EcoBoost 2.3L i4 has experienced the coolant leak described in the on going lawsuit. I have serviced the vehicle on time Everytime and I still had to pay $10K to have the motor replaced. Why has the Mustangs not been mentioned in the lawsuit nor recalled for this?
Bought the car for my son August 2. The engine light came on the end of October, the Ford dealer was backed up once they took a look at it in the beginning of November. They told me I needed a whole new engine due to a coolant intrusion problem. Where I bought the car from state it came with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty but warranty company is not covering that issue. This should be a recall and the engine should be completely covered.
I drive a manual 6 speed mustang gt 2019 the hazard that this vehicle is presenting and have seen many others complain about with a similar isssue that can be lethal causing an accident injury or even death. The mustang is known to have a reverse lockout feature with a collar and a plastic assembly where the shifter is, but it seems as it was poorly designed or poorly assembled as the problem many mustang owners are having ;such as me is that the vehicle will go in to reverse gear without lifting up the collar or in other words without disengaging the reverse lockout so instead of going into first gear it will go into reverse same goes for the second gear. I put the clutch in and put it in first or second gear or even just slightly pushing the shifter towards me and the reverse camera will turn on that is very unsafe and dangerous I recall this being also a dangerous thing for the Shelby gt350 recall number 19B34 it’s not only a issues on those vehicles but also on the mustang 2019 Gt and other years
You have a recall listed for my cart but listed it as fixed. I never took the car in for service to get it fixed and I am experiencing the issue in the recall. NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID:19V076000. My instrument cluster goes blank for about 5-10 seconds while driving. This has happened several times in the last few weeks. I tried to call ford and have them look into this but they will not even tell me where the recall was performed and are telling me this is customer cost item even though the exact thing the recall describes is happening to me. They would not even provide verification that the recall was performed.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at undisclosed speeds, the vehicle inadvertently jerked three to four feet forward. The contact stated that the transmission started to shift aggressively back and forth. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission needed to be factory reset. The vehicle was repaired; however, the contact stated that months later the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the transmission was factory reset again however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.
Check engine light kept coming on for a misfire after my car was shaking in idle for months. By the time check engine light came on, the code read misfire cylinder 2. Assumed at first it was spark plugs or ignition coil, so I replaced those and still was having the issue. Check engine light was still coming on and misfire was still happening. Took car to auto shop and was told I need a new engine due to coolant leaking from engine into cylinders. Took car then to Ford dealership for them to review the problem and they came up with same conclusion and even said that this is a common problem with the Ecoboost engines. This is a KNOWN problem by Ford, and they have since corrected the issue with a new and improved engine, however they expect customers to pay for their defective engine replacement. My car is at 62,000 miles. It should not need a new engine. They sold me the car new, when Ford was well aware of this common issue which can become extremely dangerous.
The short drop and bounce up on the drivers and passenger side windows continuously faults and fails to return to the proper position when the door is closed. There are thousand online with the same issue. I am now going to replace the passenger window motor for the third time since I cannot troubleshoot the issue any longer. The dealer has replaced the motor for the same issue and I am now out of warranty so I fix it myself. This seems to be a recurring issue on my car and for others with this generation mustang and should be addressed by Ford at this point Any assistance at this point would be greatly appreciated. Ahold not be happening as regularly as it is

The failure mileage was approximately 66,250.
Passenger door ajar on dash Then checked and seen door that was once completely closed had in fact unlocked itself and cracked open slightly after rolling over a normal bump on street. No one was in seat at the time but definitely could’ve put Passenger in danger or driver. Thankfully was not on freeway at the time. Problem has occurred 3 times so far in a two week period. Issue will be reported to dealer on the matter no later than 05/26/23 No other personnel has been informed, came to immediately alert nhtsa on the matter.
Cylinder number 2 on the Engine block is leaking antifreeze.
Backup camera is having issues. Fuzzy picture and occasionally says unavailable on display.
The 10 Speed Auto has the tendency to Jerk, Bang gears and clunk while driving normally,. It also can just have sudden jerks while braking which has sometimes had it not being able to brake and coming a lot closer to the front car then I could feel comfortable with.

As I was driving on the highway I slowed down due to traffic and I noticed a drastic change in the brake system responsiveness Applying regular pressure to the brakes did not stop the car. A brake system warning message appeared and I had to apply both feet to the brakes to stop the vehicle.
I was driving on the the 215 Freeway in Las Vegas and the car started to shutter with a loss of power in the engine. The check engine light starting blinking orange. I was going downhill so I let the car coast while I tried to pull off the road. After about 15 seconds the engine stabilized and the check engine light stopped blinking and stayed a solid yellow. I pulled the car off the road and let it rest. I was able to get the car home and took it to V & V Auto in Las Vegas the first appointment I could make. I was told coolant was leaking into the engine and the head gasket needed to be replaced. The mechanic told me this is a design flaw with the Ford EcoBoost Turbo Engines. Why is Ford allowed to put faulty engines on the road? I only had 64000 miles on the car at the the time and I have always had the car serviced.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford Mustang. The contact stated upon servicing the vehicle, the dealer informed her that the outer shell of the lug nuts was swollen, hindering the replacement of tires. The dealer replaced all 16 lug nuts. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 54,136.
All the lug nuts on my vehicle needed to be replaced due to swelling of the lug nut. The lug nuts were almost impossible to remove. If I would have had a flat tire the tire could not have been removed from the side of the road which is a safety hazard. I had the lug nuts replaced at Friendly Ford in Las Vegas, NV. I was told by the dealership this is a normal problem with the lug nuts Ford is using now. I live in the desert so I am confused how moisture can cause lug nuts to swell when there is very little humidity. This is a known problem for many Ford vehicles why are they allowed to put defective parts on vehicles?
I have taken my vehicle to Ford. Called Ford as well. And when at a stop, and while in drive, my car will lunge/ jerk and if my car was behind a vehicle too close could hit it. I also believe that If a person were in front of the vehicle it could lunge forward into them. I see in google that many 2019 mustang owners have reports this as well. This jerk/ lunge has happened a hand full of times. Two Ford dealerships and ford.com have advised they do not have reports from consumers on this.

The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where the failures were confirmed, but the vehicle was not repaired. My name is Michelle Wright and I have purchased Ford vehicles most of my life. I love Ford vehicles and have had amazing experiences with Westlie Ford and Landmark Ford. I purchased my vehicle at Vancouver Ford, which is the most unprofessional and unethical dealership. My story starts October 2021, when I purchased a 2019 Ford Mustang from Vancouver Ford. I paid cash for the vehicle and was provided an AutoCheck, not a Carfax the day I had purchased this car. Over the last 8 months I have had several issues that made think my car was an accident but was assured it was never in an accident. After pulling the Carfax, I realized it was in a wreck and had an accident date of July 2019. This led me to look for an accident report, which was filed by a Portland Police officer on July 23, 2019.
Passenger door unlocked and opened by itself while driving 75mph with no one in the passenger seat. Appears to be the same issues as the 2011 - 2017 mustang recall.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the instrument cluster went blank for several seconds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The dealer informed the contact that there was no recall associated with the VIN. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V076000 (Electrical System) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 45,500.
The performance of the car is impacted by the following: Service Advance Trac Steering Assist Fault Service Required Hill Start Assist Not Available. As a result, the vehicle drivetrain aggressively responds with drop in RPM and Steering Wheel gets tight; to a point the car is hard to navigate
The instrument panel, which is entirely digital with no actual dials or needles, stopped working and went totally black for a short period of time while I was driving.
My car has started to have problems with some of its features. Cruise control, pre collision assist, traction control, back up camera and some other features have all become unavailable.
Since this recall came out I have taken my car to the dealer(Port Orchard Ford, Port Orchard, Wa. 98366) and each time they say they can't do it because it has a super charger. I think it's because they would have to reinstall the super charger program. I've been told that they would be able to reprogram it because they installed it. On the recall notice it doesn't list any exceptions to not doing the recall. XXX XXX REf. Manufacturer Recall Number 22S37 NHTSA Recall Number 22V382 Dated: May 27, 2022
I parked my manual car at work. Put the emergency break on and the break disengaged on its own and 15 mins later the car ran into the metal frame of a pick up truck.
The backup camera often is not available, or the screen is badly distorted, cuts in and out, or image looks like ghost. There was a recall for 2015 to 2018 Mustang, but my 2019 Mustang EcoBoost Convertible Premium does the exact same thing as the 2015 to 2018 Mustang. I took it to the dealer for repairs, and was told that it is not covered by the recall. I tried to fix the problem myself, but it still happens at times.
In the last 5 months I have had at least 3 incidents where the electronic dash goes blank, while driving. So far it had come back on within a short time. I took it to the dealer and they said they tried reprogramming it (but also said they found nothing wrong). The dealer said that reprogramming didn't fix it so they ordered a part. That was March 22, 2022 and the last time I heard anything from Brighton Ford - no idea if they ordered the part or did anything and no contact in over a month.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford Mustang. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle was experiencing hard shifting, and the transmission was slipping. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to a transmission specialist, where the contact was informed that the transmission fluid was low, and a quart of transmission fluid was added to the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure recurred 6 months later. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to respond while depressing the accelerator pedal from a complete stop, and the vehicle had become undrivable. The message "See Manual" was displayed. The dealer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 65,000.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford Mustang. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the front driver’s and passenger’s side windows would intermittently lower independently. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the software was updated, relubricated, and other repairs were performed; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. On 11/27/21 I was driving my 2019 mustang GT convertible with approx 15,000 miles. While going around a curve (not at an excessive speed) on dry pavement, the car became uncontrollable and began to spin out. As much as I tried to brake and steer into the slide, the car became more and more uncontrollable and felt as though it were speeding up. I only came to a stop after slamming into a tree and rolling over to the other side of the road. Vehicle is a total loss. I was lucky and only suffered minor injuries, but it very easily could have been much worse. The police and paramedics who arrived at the scene were expecting a fatality or severe injuries. In the end I was ticketed for failure to reduce speed. I'm losing my mind explaining to the police and insurance that the car sped up on its own and all control of the vehicle were lost. I am in danger of losing my license because of this and no one is believing that this could possibly happen and convinced me to state that I was probably driving too fast. This is a deadly problem. The internet is full of videos demonstrating this same problem: complete loss of control in a low speed turn. Before you ask, I wasn't racing, I wasn't drifting, I wasn't spinning my tires or doing donuts; I was just trying to go home to my kids who almost lost their father. If there is any saved data or physical evidence that needs to be saved, action is needed ASAP before the insurance company scraps it. Also, it should be noted that in the week leading up to the accident, the rear end would become loose when going around corners. I had planned to have it addressed at the next oil change.
Swollen lug nuts. Unable to have regularly scheduled rotation as they could not be removed. Was advised to purchased new lug nuts.
Electronic power steering makes a grinding noise at low speed when turning steering wheel. The noise is getting progressively louder.
My my trunk has a set of cords that have been caught in my trunk door and severed in half. They are then too short to fix. Basically Im stuck I do believe it wasn’t thought through very well. I have a 2019 eco boost convertible in which the adaptive cruise control has never worked. Current PROBLEMS(these are all on my Ford app) -Restraints indicator lamp Warning - pre collision assist not available VEHICLE HEALTH REPORT: PROBLEMS 1. Power train malfunction / reduce power 2. Brakes & suspension 3. Restraints & driver assist 4. Check fluids & Filters 5. Recall - door latch 21N10
The 10 speed automatic transmission is not shifting properly. The car lurches and it feels/sounds like the transmission is going to fall out of the car when putting the car in drive or reverse from park. There is hesitation while shifting during acceleration. The car should downshift to a lower gear when extra power is needed. Also, the transmission shifts hard when coming to a stop and feels like undo wear and tear is being placed on the transmission. The issues I am having are the same I see other Ford Mustang and Ford F150 owners are having with the transmission. I want this issue fixed and the car is available for inspection. Also, this issue has been ongoing since Jan 2021 when I purchased the car used.
Heated/cooled driver's seat stopped functioning due to a shorted or overloaded wiring harness causing a small electrical fire at the harness.
