From a stop at a traffic light on [XXX], I made a right turn from [XXX] onto [XXX] in Greensboro NC, and after turning, the car did not respond when I pressed on the accelerator so as to go with the traffic. Instead, the car gradually slowed down. Before the car rolled to a stop in the middle of the road, the engine caught on and the car speeded up normally. The risk is that I would become stopped in the middle of a busy road and that someone rear end into me. If this problem were to occur as I was entering onto an interstate highway, where traffic routinely moves along at 70 mph and more, it would not be good. I took my car to Green Ford, the local dealership, on July 9, 2024. They found a defective battery (which was replaced under the car's warranty), and the dealership said the problems (accelerator and also brakes) were likely caused by a defective battery. (At the same visit the dealership also examined my brakes, which had failed, and which I am describing in a separate incident report). The accelerator problem occurred again on [XXX] when I pulled out of my apartment parking lot onto [XXX] , and after turning onto [XXX] , the car gradually started to slow down, and would have come to a stop. I pushed on the accelerator repeatedly and the car, before stopping, got up to speed (the speed limit is 35 mph on [XXX] ). The next day, on October 8, 2024, at the Green Ford dealership, the dealership could find nothing wrong with the car. On [XXX], on the way downtown (to the Ford Dealership) I experienced the accelerator problem several tines. The dealership did not examine the car again, but advised me to keep detailed notes for a week and after a week report back to them. . I am dealing with ford on two brand new mustangs. That are both failing electrically and they claim they have fixed yet haven’t and still exhibiting gross safety concerns. This is simply large scale negligence. Both Mustangs screens have and are randomly blacking out creating massive safety concern when no guages or functions are present. I’ve contacted them and a. Insider has given me a document showing that they know and have no answers. And for this. Is gross negligence. I demand replacements. Both problems have cause financial damages. And also psychological trauma due to prior car wreck where dash blacked out. This is a known issue And I demand answers.
I visited the [XXX] in Greensboro, NC on [XXX], was inside the Y for around five minutes, and when I came out and got back to my car, the car would not start, the battery was completely dead. I called USAA Road Service, they came and said I had a very discharged battery. They helped me get the car started, and I got home OK. I do not know what caused the battery to fail. After the battery failed, It was inspected on July 9, 2024 by Green Ford in Greensboro, and then replaced by the Ford dealer. My safety was at risk because the dealer said the faulty battery probably was responsible for an accelerator problem I am experiencing (detailed in NHTSA complaint number 11619861) and a brake failure which I experienced (detailed in NHTSA complaint number 11619933). The Ford dealer that said the battery was defective, and as I said, replaced it (under the car's warranty). There was no warning that the battery would fail, and I do not know why it failed, and had no reason to believe it would fail. If the Ford dealer kept the failed battery, and still has it, it should be available for inspection upon request. While driving or idling there is a whining sound coming from what sounds like the transmission. I also have a video of me shift from Park to Drive and back to Park again and it is making a clicking sound outside of the car. Also it is taking longer to shift. I’m concerned something is wrong with the transmission. I have brought the car to a dealership who tells me it is normal without really looking at it all because Ford has sent out a bulletin stating that the whining noise is “normal.”
The instrument panel goes blank. No way to tell how fast you are driving and no way to see warning lights. Ford has now had the car for over two months now with no solution.
This is a 2024 Mustang convertible that I purchased from Autonation in Panama City and the back window was not properly installed and is now shaking and allowing water into the car. There is a major problem with the car disabling ABS as well and ive taken it to the dealership for both of these issues twice. The brakes did not function correctly when I was dropping off at school and I tapped the parents car in front of me. I went to autonation with my concern and even called FORD to file a complaint and neither of the companies took it seriously. Had I known this car was gonna be a problem and even more difficult to fix (Autonation doesnt work on convertible tops and has given me the run around about finding someone to fix the top) I would have kept my older convertible. I ALSO PURCHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY WHEN I BOUGHT THIS CAR TO ENSURE EVERYTHING WAS PROTECTED.

Body panels are misaligned. Doors do not line up to the body, bumpers don’t line up to quarter fender, trunk lid has large gaps preventing proper sealing, hood has gaps and vibrates at high speeds.
While driving, my digital gauge cluster screen will completely go to black, and then it will fade out. This is during normal operation. The gauge cluster does not do any restart animations, so it is as if the screen loses power for a few seconds, or something causes it to stop being displayed.

Cars passener side front and the back floor was flooded with water after heavy rain. Window was not left open as the seats are completly Dry . There seems to be a sound of a puddle coming from the right side of the car as well whenever it rains. I poured water on top of the car to find a visual leak but didnt see water leaking inside .
Cold weather. Warmed up the car for 10 minutes . all defoger for rear glass and winshield were used . There is accessive condenced water all over inside front and back window. started driving and used the wiper to clean the windshield and found out water is on the inside made the visability hard. Another issue with the Camera Visibility issue is daily in cold weather where the glass in front of the camera gets foggy and there is no way to clean as it foggs up inside the winshield and camera housing makes the auto break system not working . After the snow there is a sound of a water puddle some whereon the right side on the car.
I purchased a new 2024 Mustang GT. Shortly after I experiences a dead throttle. The car would coast to a near stop and pushing the gas pedal multiple times had no effect. This has happen more than 4 times now. It was taken into the dealership twice. The first time the car was kept for a week and returned with no problem found. The second time is was returned more quickly again with no problem found. With what was asked I don't think I was taken seriously. I drive in areas with poor visibility due to hills and curves and only single lane roads without usable shoulders. Twice it happened in middle of one of these roads and I was at a near stop in middle of the roadway. I was nearly rear ended my a truck traveling at high speed twice with nowhere or no way to move. Another time exiting one street and enter on to another rather busy street with fast moving traffic. The car nearly came to a complete stop in mid turn. Power came back just in time to avoid an accident. I and possibly others could have easily been seriously injured or worse in any of those. I have concerns taking this car anywhere at this point.

2024 Ford Mustang Ecoboost, Purchased New, Under 6,000 miles, check engine light came on. Vehicle was entering freeway and immediately had a loss of power. When taken to dealer, they stated that it was a cylinder 2 misfire, 2 weeks later they said I needed a new engine. The safety of myself and others were at risk because my vehicle lost power on the highway and immediately started shaking and making noise while operating at road posted speeds. This is not a first time occurance, I have the same model vehicle that I purchased in 2015 that did the exact same thing, only before 90k miles. There is a common element and I've heard other vehicle owners that have this same vehicle complaining of the same problem. They call it "Ecoboom" and Ford seems to be ignoring the problem.
