AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FAILED WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED.
THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT IS FLASHING. PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN CORRECTED. *AK *SLC
WHILE DRIVING THE CLUTCH IN THE TRANSMISSION BURNED OUT PRIOR TO SERVICE RECALL, RECALL REPAIRS REFUSED DUE TO EXPIRATION OF THE DATE. *AK
WHILE VEHICLE IS TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS (60+ MPH) AND TRANSMISSION IS IN OVERDRIVE, THE TRANSMISSION SUDDENLY DOWN SHIFTS TO LOWEST GEAR (35 MPH), THEN ERRATICALLY SHIFTS BETWEEN ALL FORWARD GEARS.
THE AIR BAG SENSOR FAILED.
VEHICLE JUMPS WHEN PUT INTO GEAR FROM PARK TO DRIVE.
.TORQUE CONVERTER FAILED.
AIR BAG: DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH AND RAN INTO A TREE AND THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE FREEWAY THE ACCELERATOR STUCK TO THE FLOOR AND THE VEHICLE KEPT GOING . CONSUMER TRIED HITTING THE BRAKES AND THEY WOULDN'T WORK. THE VEHICLE KEP PICKING UP SPEED AND LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. HAD TO KEEP HITTING THE GAS PEDAL HARD WITH FOOT IN ORDER FOR IT TO UNSTICK, AND THEN COULD USE THE BRAKES. *AK
COIL SPRING BROKE IN HALF, RECALL ON OTHER MODEL YEARS HOWEVER VEHICLE DENIED DUE TO MODEL YEAR.
HAD PARKED VEHICLE & WALKED AWAY; HEARD A LOUD NOISE; CHECKED VEHICLE AREA & NOTICED SPARE TIRE (DONUT) IN SPARE AREA HAD EXPLODED; WEATHER WAS COOL; SPARE AREA & ROOF OF VEHICLE DAMAGED. COULD NOT RESTART VEHICLE DUE TO KILLED SWITCH & FIRE DEPT FILED REPORT BEFORE VEHICLE WAS MOVED. *AK TIRE WAS A GENERAL SERVA SPARE TIRE, SIZE 13580R14, DOT # ADPR42N101. *SLC
VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE IN THE ENGINE. ACTUAL CAUSE OF FIRE IS UNKNOWN. *AK
TRANSMISSION FAILED PRIOR TO/AFTER MANUFACTURER'S RECALL. RECALL REPAIRS REFUSED DUE TO EXPIRATION OF WARRANTY. ALSO REPLACED TRANSAXLE. (94M84). *AK
WHILE PARKED THE SPARE TIRE IN THE REAR PASSENGER COMPARTMENT BLEW UP, CAUSING GAS LINES TO CUT OFF AND RESULTING IN INTERIOR DAMAGE. *AK
AN UNSUPPORTED PIECE OF THE TRANSMISSION GASKET BROKE SHUTTING OFF THE LUBRICATION OIL.
INTERMITTENT FAILURE OF AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. *AK
TRASAXLE REBUILT 4 TIMES. *AK
WHILE DRIVING ABOUT (55-60) MPH DRIVER NOTICED A WOBBLE IN THE VEHICLE AS THOUGH VEHICLE HAD A FLAT TIRE . WHEN PULLING TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD DRIVER DISCOVERED THE TIE ROD SHAFT ON THE RACK AND PINION WAS BROKEN. VEHICLE HAS BEEN REPAIRED. *AK
WHILE DRIVING IN WARM WEATHER WITH TEMPARATURES ABOVE 75 DEGREES, CONSUMER WOULD REMOVE FOOT FROM THE BRAKE PEDAL AND APPLY TO THE GAS PEDAL, HOWEVER VEHICLE WOULD NOT MOVE UNLESS THE GAS PEDAL WAS PUSHED HARD, DEALER THOUGHT THE PROBLEM TO BE A FAULTY SENSOR ASSEMBLY AND DEFECTIVE FUEL PUMP, AFTER REPLACING THESE THE PROBLEM DID NOT GO AWAY, A DEALER DROVE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THE BRAKE PEDAL WOULD NOT COME UP COMPLETELY BACK TO WHERE IT SHOULD BE, CONSUMER HAS TO KEEP HER LEFT TOE UNDER THE BRAKE PEDAL TO MAKE SURE IT STAYS UP. *SLC

BOLT FELL OUT OF THE "A" JOINT, ALLOWING ENGINE TO DROP. RECALL 92S61-S1 PERFORMED ON 7/94 WITH FAILURE REOCCURRING. DEALERSHIP SAYS THEY ARE ONLY OBLIGATED TO REPAIR ONCE. PLEASE DESCRIBE DETAILS. *AK
WHILE DRIVING THE SUB-FAME FELL DOWN AND THE DRIVER COULD NOT TURN THE VEHICLE. *AK
FRONT ENGINE MOUNT FAILED.
ANTI-LOCK BRAKES SEEM TO ENGAGE DURING CORNERING TO THE RIGHT WITH YOUR FOOT ON THE BRAKE TO SLOW DOWN (OCCASSIONALLY). THE BRAKE PEDAL THEN VIOLENTLY JERKS YOUR FOOT, HARD ENOUGH TO BRUISE. THE SYSTEM ALSO ENGAGES UPON BRAKE APPLICATION ON WET OR SANDY SURFACE AND VIOLENTLY PUSHES PEDAL UP AGAINST THE FOOT APPLYING THE BRAKE, SOMETIMES BRUISING THE BOTTOME OF THE FOOT. THIS HAS KNOCKED MY FOOT OFF THE BRAKE PEDAL UPON OCCASION.
DRIVING, START TO APPLY BRAKES, PEDAL WOULD STICK; WOULD OCCUR AT VARIOUS SPEEDS; HAVE TO MANUALLY PULL PEDAL UP. NOW GOING ALL THE WAY TO FLOOR; BRAKES DON'T WORK & THEN WOULD KICK BACK UP; BRAKES WORKING. TAKEN TO MECHANIC & HAD CHECKED OUT & TOLD NOT ABS MALFUNCTIONED, BUT BRAKE BOOSTER. *AK
RIGHT REAR BRAKE WILL LOCK UP AND OVERHEAT WHEEL, CAUSING TIRE TO HEAT UP. *AK THE CONSUMER HAD BRAKES REPLACED THREE TIMES FOR LOCKING UP BRAKE PROBLEM, AND BELIEVES IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD. *YH
CONSUMER HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WIT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. VEHICLE ONLY HAS FIRST GEAR OR REVERSE. THE MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *AK

WAS DRIVING ALONG AND STOPPED AT THE LIGHT, VEHICLE MADE A LOUD NOISE AND IT SHUT DOWN FOR A FEW MINUTES. HAD TO PUSH TO GET IT STARTED AND THEN AT THE NEXT LIGHT IT STOPPED AGAIN. *AK
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FAILED DUE TO A DESIGN FLAW ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. *AK
TRANSMISSION JUMPED INTO NEUTRAL GEAR
TRANSMISSION SUDDENLY DISENGAGED FROM DRIVE AND THEN SUDDENLY REENGAGED, RESULTING IN LOSS OF CONTROL. *AK
REAR SUB FRAME MOUNTS FAILED, RECALL WORK DENIED DUE TO VIN #.
OWNER STATES WITH NO WARNING HIS TRANSMISSION FAILED, HE NOTES THAT THE VEHICLE DIED OUT COMPLETELY WHILE DRIVING, HE FEARS A CRASH COMING UP IF THIS CONTUNIES. *AK *JB

THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FAILED.
WHILE TRAVELING STRAIGHT ON A CITY STREET AT 40 MPH, THE JOINT BETWEEN RACK AND TIE ROD SHATTERED, CAUSING TIE ROD END TO SEPARATE FROM RACK, RESULTING IN LOSS OF CONTROL. *AK
THE ENGINE IS DROPPING OUT ON THE FRONT LEFT SIDE BECAUSE THE BOLTS THAT SUPPORT THE FRONT SUBFRAME MOUNTS ARE RUSTING AND CORRODING. *AK *JB
DURING A FRONTAL IMPACT ACCIDENT, AT 45 MPH. THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK
THE BODY MOUTNS OF THE REAR CORNER OF THE SUBFRAME WHICH SUPPORTS THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION DETACHED DUE TO CORROSION, CONSUMER HAD THE REPAIR CORRECTED UNDER THE RECALL AT 32, 000 MILES. *AK
TRANSMISSION LURCHED FORWARD UPON COMING TO A FULL STOP PRIOR TO RECALL.
TRANSMISSION FAILED.
WHILE VEHICLE IS IN DRIVE AND IN MOTION, TRANSMISSION WILL SUDDENLY DISENGAGE OUT OF GEAR THEN REENGAGE, CAUSING UNEXPECTED DEACCELERATION/ACCELERATION, RESULTING IN LOSS OF CONTROL. *AK
