Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)I experience a lack of power issue when driving the vehicle and attempting to accelerate past 40-60 mph. I will floor the accelerator and the car still stalls and will not accelerate. This has been terrifying when merging onto the highway and realizing this issue is occurring, as it is sporadic and not noticeable on residential/low speed drives. In the videos I've taken, you can see the engine RPM increase to approximately 4k RPM; the gear indicator continues to show "D," indicating the RPM increase was due to a throttle-induced downshift as opposed to shifting with the paddles; and the vehicle speed fails to increase as would be expected at the necessary throttle application for the RPM to be at that level. I have taken my vehicle to to the genesis service dealership at least 5 times for this issue and it is still a recurring issue. Many genesis owners complain about this issue on forums with no resolution from Genesis.
