THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 GENESIS G80. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 21V160000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC) HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE RECALL REPAIR WAS NOT YET AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT GREGORY HYUNDAI LOCATED AT 490 SKOKIE VALLEY RD, HIGHLAND PARK, IL 60035, (847) 831-5980) HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.

MANUFACTURER RECALL NUMBER006G NHTSA RECALL NUMBER21V160000 I HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER OR DEALER ABOUT A PROBLEM. I DID ASK ABOUT IT ON A ROUTINE SERVICE CALL. AND WAS TOLD BY THE DEALER MAINTENANCE REPRESENTATIVE YES THERE IS A RECALL AND NO FIX WAS AVAILABLE. AS THIS IS RELATED TO THE BRAKES, MY QUESTION IS: IS THE CAR SAFE TO DRIVE. IF SAFETY RELATED OR NOT WHY HAVE I NOT BEEN NOTIFIED.
