Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)The cruise control does not down-shift the vehicle early enough. it does not react for the first 6mph over set point and then when it downshifts it only downshifts one gear. The vehicle exceeded 10mph over set point on a 6% grade and brakes had to be engaged because manual limit did not perform as intended at the moment. This might have been ok in the 90s but all other cars I had handled this much better in last 15 years. The lane keep assist attempts to drive the car into oncoming traffic when there are road patches present in the lane.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
