Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)I WAS DRIVING AT 65MPH ON THE FREEWAY WHEN THE RIGHT REAR TIRE SEPARATED CAUSING ME TO LOSE CONTROL OF MY 2006 GMC CANYON TRUCK. I NARROWLY AVOIDED CRASHING INTO THE CENTER DIVIDER, AND THE SEPARATED TIRE CAUSED EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT-REAR BED PANEL. THE TIRE WAS A COOPER DAKOTA HT SIZE 31X10.50R15L. I STILL HAVE THE TIRE, AND IT IS AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION. *TR
PREMATURE INNER AND OUTER TIRE WEAR ON FRONT TIRES. GM TECHS SAY THERE'S NO PROBLEM. ALIGNED FRONT END AND REPLACED AT NO COST DIDN'T REPAIR PROBLEM. *TR
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
