DASH IS CRACKED ON ALL 3 OF MY GM VEHICLES MADE IN 2011
CRACKED DASHBOARD. AS MANY OTHERS HAVE INDICATED, THERE IS A SERIOUS FLAW IN THIS MODEL'S DASHBOARD, CAUSING SPONTANEOUS CRACKING. MINE HAPPENED JUST BEFORE MY "GENEROUS" 3 YEAR WARRANTEE EXPIRED, BUT BY THE TIME I GOT THE VEHICLE IN FOR INSPECTION, THE DEALER WAS "UNABLE" TO OFFER ANYTHING OTHER THAN REPLACEMENT OF THE ENTIRE DASH AT MY EXPENSE. THE CRACKS STARTED AT THE LEFT CORNER OF THE PASSENGER AIRBAG PANEL AS MOST OTHERS DESCRIBED. THEN THE CENTER CLIP FAILED, CAUSING THE DASH TO VIBRATE WHEN DRIVEN. THIS WAS VERY DISTRACTING. I EVENTUALLY APPLIED A SMALL DAB OF MOLDABLE EPOXY HERE TO SECURE THE DASH AND STOP THE VIBRATION. "PROFESSIONAL GRADE" ....HARDLY
LEFT A PARKING LOT AND HEARD A LOUD POP, THE DASHBOARD ABOVE THE STEERING WHEEL CRACKED! *TR
GMC 2011 YUKON CRACKED DASH OVER STEERING COLUMN. WAS NOT DRIVING WHEN THIS HAPPENED. THE CRACK HAS SLOWLY GROWN UP THE DASH. *TR
DASHBOARD SEVERELY CRACKED AROUND AIRBAG AND CLUSTER, AND MAY CAUSE MALFUNCTIONING OF AIR-BAG. ALSO,THERE ARE COUNTLESS COMPLAINTS REPORTED FOR SAME PROBLEM, DASHBOARD CRACKS, IN INTERNET AND MOST OF THEM WORRIED ABOUT THE SAFETY AND HIGH COST REPLACEMENT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 GMC YUKON. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DASHBOARD DEVELOPED LARGE CRACKS THAT EXPOSED THE AIR BAGS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
THE DASH BOARD HAS CRACKED IN TWO PLACES, ONE NEAR THE STEARING COLUMN AND ONE ON THE PERIMETER OF THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. I'M CONCERNED IT WILL EFFECT THE INTEGRITY OF THE AIRBAG. THE VEHICLE WAS MOSTLY STORED IN A GARAGE AND WAS NOT EXPOSED TO SUNLIGHT FOR A LARGE AMOUNT OF TIME.
AT ABOUT 3 YEARS OF AGE THE DASHBOARD BEGAN TO CRACK. IT MEANDERED THROUGH THE DASHBOARD AND SOON WILL BE EFFECTIVELY SPLITTING THE DASHBOARD IN HALF WITH A THOROUGH CRACK. THE CAR IS NOW 5 YEARS OLD.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 GMC YUKON DENALI. THE CONTACT NOTICED A CRACK ON THE DASHBOARD ABOVE THE INSTRUMENT PANEL ON THE DRIVER SIDE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH OVER A BUMP IN THE ROAD, THE DASHBOARD BOUNCED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. MY 2011 GMC YUKON DENALI THE DASHBOARD HAS CRACKED DIRECTLY OVER THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER ON THE DRIVER SIDE. THIS IS THE SAME ISSUE THOUSANDS OF OTHER OWNERS OF TAHOE'S, YUKONS, AND ESCALADE'S ARE HAVING. D ' LITERALLY CRACKED DOWN THE MIDDLE OVER THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER BY NO FAULT OF MY OWN. I DID NOT MISS USE NOR BANG THE DASHBOARD IT IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM THAT IS HAPPENED TO THOUSANDS OF OTHER PEOPLE. I JUST HAD TO PAY ALMOST $400 TO THE DEALER TO HAVE IT REPLACED. THIS IS A $60,000 VEHICLE I PURCHASED JUST A FEW SHORT YEARS AGO. THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING AND SHOULD BE A RECALL IF IT'S WIDELY AFFECTED THOUSANDS OF OTHER OWNERS. *TR
THE TOP OF THE DASH HAS TWO CRACKS, ONE BEHIND THE GAUGE CLUSTER AND ONE BY THE AIRBAG DOOR. THIS IS BECOMING MORE AND MORE COMMON ON THE TAHOE, YUKON, ESCALADE AND ASSORTED GM TRUCKS IN THE 2007-2011 RANGE. IN SOME CASES, THE CRACKS HAVE GOTTEN QUITE LARGE AND JAGGED TO THE POINT THAT PIECES OF THE DASH ARE LOOSE AND COULD BECOME PROJECTILES OR AFFECT THE AIRBAG IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH. GM IS SO FAR UNWILLING TO ASSIST IF PEOPLE MAKE A COMPLAINT TO THEM, ALTHOUGH SOME PEOPLE HAVE GOTTEN GM TO PAY FOR HALF OR MORE FOR A REPLACEMENT DASH IF THEY ARE PUSHED HARD ENOUGH. HOWEVER, THERE ARE NOW REPORTS THAT THE REPLACEMENT DASHES ARE CRACKING. AND IT HAS BEEN SHOWN THAT THE CRACKS ARE NOT DUE TO CHEMICALS OR EXTREME WEATHER.
THE DASHBOARD HAS CRACKED IN TWO SEPARATE PLACE. I AM EXTREMELY CONCERNED THAT SHOULD THE PASSENGER AIR BAG DEPLOY THAT THE SECTION OF DASH NOW UNATTACHED WILL BE SEND FLYING INTO THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT CAUSING A FATAL WOUND. THIS IS NOW THE 2ND VEHICLE I HAVE PURCHASED WHERE THIS HAS OCCURRED. THERE IS AN OBVIOUS SAFETY DEFECT IN THE DASHBOARD OF THE FULL SIZE GM TRUCK/SUV PLATFORM AND A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY OVERNIGHT WHEN THIS CRACKING OCCURRED BOTH TIMES.
CAME OUT OF CARWASH AND REAR SUSPENSION LOCKED UP AND BACK OF MY VEHICLE RAISED APPROXIMATELY 8/12 INCHES LIGHT CAME ON SAID SERVICE SUSPENSION AND TRAILER BRAKING SYSTEM. VEHICLE HAS NEVER HAULED ANYTHING A BURNT SMELL CAME FROM BACK END. THIS VEHICLE HAS NEVER EVEN HIT A POTHOLE. ONLY BEEN DRIVEN LOCALLY. I'M A LITTLE FRUSTRATED BECAUSE I HAD IMMEDIATELY TAKING IT IN TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED IT. AND THEY TREATED IT LIKE IT WAS NOT A BIG DEAL. WHEN BACK IN FELT LIKE IT WAS GRABBING EVERY TIME THE BRAKE WAS APPLIED. THEY SURE DIDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM GIVING ME A $800.00 HUNDRED DOLLAR BILL ON A $63,000 THOUSAND DOLLAR BASICALLY BRAND NEW VEHICLE. I GOT ONLINE AND SAW MANY OTHERS WITH SAME PROBLEM. CRACKED DASH ON MY 2011 YUKON. WHEN I PAID ALMOST $50,000 FOR A NEW VEHICLE I EXPECT IT TO LAST LONGER THAN 70,000 MILES BEFORE IT STARTS BREAKING. MY DASH IS CRACKING IN THE SAME PLACE AS THE REST OF THE WORLD. IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME WHEN MY AIR BAG IS GOING TO EXPLODE BECAUSE OF THE DASH AND ONE OF MY CHILDREN WILL BE INJURED. IS THAT WHAT IT'S GOING TO TAKE?
PRESSED TAILGATE BUTTON TO OPEN AND AS OPENING TAILGATE FELL ONTO CHILD REMOVING A BAG FROM TAILGATE. MOTOR FOR THE TAILGATE ATTEMPTED TO REOPEN TAILGATE AND TAILGATE FELL AGAIN ON CHILD. PASSERBY AND PARENT HELD TAILGATE OPEN TO REMOVE CHILD. BROUGHT TO DEALERSHIP THEY WERE ABLE TO RECREATE AND REPAIR. FAILED LIFT PISTONS. THE ARE NO PHYSICAL INDICATORS, ELECTRONIC, ILLUMINATED OR AUDIO WARNING OF THIS POSSIBLY RECURRING. LIFT GATE HAS A GREATER WEIGHT THEN SIDE DOORS AND IS GRAVITY FED. *TR
2 CRACKS IN DASHBOARD THAT COINCIDE WITH SO MANY OF THE COMPLAINTS GM HAS AND CONTINUES TO RECEIVE. ONE IS AT THE TOP LEFT CORNER OF THE AIRBAG DASH CAP AND THE 2ND IS OVER THE INSTRUMENT PANEL/GAUGES HUMP OF THE DASH.
CRACKING DASH BOARD AROUND PASSENGER AIRBAG
THE REAR DEFROST WIRES KEPT FALLING OFF OF THE WINDOW. I HAD THEM SOLDERED BACK ON SEVERAL TIMES UNTIL I FINALLY HAD TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE GLASS, BECAUSE THERE WASN'T ENOUGH MATERIAL TO BE ABLE TO RE-SOLDER IT. WITHIN A COUPLE OF WEEKS OF REPLACING THE GLASS, ONE OF THE WIRES FELL OFF. I HAD IT FIXED. THEN A FEW WEEKS LATER THE OTHER ONE FELL OFF. IN TOTAL OVER THE NEXT YEAR I HAD BOTH WIRES RE-SOLDERED AT LEAST TWICE EACH, UNTIL JUST LAST WEEK WHEN I HAD TO REPLACE THE GLASS AGAIN! I WAS TOLD THAT THIS IS A BAD DESIGN BY GM AND THAT THEY TEND TO FALL OFF BECAUSE THEY GET TOO HOT WHEN IN USE. HOWEVER, THE WIRES EVEN FELL OFF IN THE SPRING AND SUMMER WHEN THE DEFROST WASN'T IN USE. *TR
DOORS HAVE LOCKED ON THEIR OWN THREE (3) TIMES. *TR
THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY LOST POWER AND THE STABILI-TRAC SYSTEM WARNING APPEARED IN THE DIC, THEN THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM WARNING APPEARED IN THE DIC, THEN ENGINE POWER REDUCED BY 16% IN THE DIC. DROVE VEHICLE TO EXIT RAMP AND TURNED ENGINE OFF. VEHICLE RESTARTED WITH ONLY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON AND NO WARNINGS IN THE DIC. THE ENGINE DID NOT HOWEVER RUN SMOOTHLY. I TOOK IT TO A DEALER WHO CLEAR SOME CODES AND REPLACED THE TPS. CHECKED ALL FUSES. NO FURTHER PROBLEM. HOWEVER A FRIEND HAS THE SAME VEHICLE IN A 2010 MODEL. SAME PROBLEM DEALER REPLACED A THROTTLE BODY. CHECK OUT THE GM FORUM AT [XXX] THIS FORUM SHOWS LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM AND IN SOME CASES CAUSING ACCIDENTS. MY VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED ON 1-24-2013, AND SO FAR IT APPEARS THAT MY PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED, HOWEVER IT APPEARS GM IS NOT REALLY FIXING THE PROBLEM. 2011 GMC DENALI. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO PROBLEMS WITH VEHICLE ENGINE AND BATTERY. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED AS HE WAS DRIVING, THE VEHICLE SLOWED DOWN TO ROUGHLY 35 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP, WHERE A DIAGNOSIS REVEALED A FAILED BATTERY. HOWEVER, THE BATTERY HAD JUST BEEN REPLACED ONE YEAR EARLIER.
THE TRUCK WAS PARKED AND RUNNING. IT SUDDENLY BEGAN TO IDLE AS IF SOMEONE WAS PUSHING DOWN ON THE GAS. I IMMEDIATELY SHUT THE CAR OFF. I TURNED IT BACK ON AND THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON AND IT READ "REDUCED ENGINE POWER". IT SEEMED TO DRIVE OK. I CALLED DEALERSHIP AND MADE APT FOR TUESDAY. (IT WAS THURSDAY) THE NEXT DAY I DROVE IT TO LOCAL GARAGE TO READ ENGINE CODE. IT WAS P2135. THE TRUCK THEN STOPPED ACCELERATING. IT WOULD NOT GO OVER 25MPH. IT TOOK ABOUT 2 FULL MIN TO GET IT AT THAT SPEED. WHEN I WOULD BREAK, THE TRUCK WOULD JUMP AS IF DID NOT WANT TO STOP. THE DEALERSHIP DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR COVER. I WAS INFORMED THAT GMC IS AWARE THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM AND HAS SINCE CORRECTED IT. HOWEVER, THERE IS NO RECALL AS THERE IS NO ALLEGED SAFETY ISSUES. I BELIEVE THAT WHEN YOU HAVE A 1,2, AND 3 YEAR OLD IN THE TRUCK IN RUSH HOUR, IT IS DARK OUTSIDE, AND YOU ARE AN HOUR AWAY FROM HOME IT IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE WHEN YOUR TRUCK WON'T ACCELERATE! I HAVE CONTACTED GMC WHO REFUSES TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS ISSUE. PLEASE ISSUE A RECALL AS THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 GMC YUKON DENALI. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DASHBOARD WAS CRACKED IN THE MIDDLE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE DASHBOARD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SUNTRUP BUICK GMC (4200 I-70 NORTH OUTER RD, ST. PETERS, MO 63376, (866) 504-7492) WHERE IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE DASHBOARD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 105,314.
LARGE CRACK ACROSS DASHBOARD IN FRONT OF DRIVER. DEALER WILL NOT FIX AND NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. CLEARLY A DESIGN DEFECT. DEALER WANTS $1,800 TO REPAIR.
LARGE CRACKS IN DASH CAUSING CONSTANT RATTLING NOISE.THIS OCCURRED IN LESS THAN A YEAR PURCHASE AND HAS WORSENED THE HEATING AND COOLING FUNCTION OF THE SEATS FAILED WITHIN MONTHS OF BUYING THE VEHICLE NEW. RADIO AND NAVIGATION SCREEN DOES NOT WORK AT ALL.
TAKATA RECALL. STILL NO WORD ON ANYONE CONTACTING ME. DID RECEIVE LETTER IN JULY. CRACKED DASH IN MANY LOCATIONS. PURCHASED NEW. GARAGE KEPT. BEGAN FEW YEARS AFTER PURCHASE. MIRROR MOTOR DRIVER SIDE BROKEN AFTER TWO - THREE YEARS. BROKEN HANDLE FRONT PASSENGER OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE PLASTIC AN CAME OFF IN MY WIFE'S HAND AFTER FEW YEARS. REALLY! SHE'S BARELY IN MY TRUCK. CAN PROVIDE MANY PHOTOS IF NEEDED. IN ALL CASED DEALERS WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 GMC YUKON DENALI. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THERE WAS A LOUD GRINDING NOISE COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO SLOW DOWN AND STOP THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL BEARING SEIZED AND AS A RESULT, THE WHEEL BEARING, CALIPERS AND ROTORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO STATED THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT HIM AT A LATER DATE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 11,000.
CAR WAS PARKED IN AN OPEN PARKING LOT FOR MORE THAN 7 HOURS IN BELOW FREEZING WEATHER (LESS THAN 20 F) WEATHER WITH HIGH WIND. WHEN THE ENGINE WAS STARTED IN THE EVENING, THE DASHBOARD DISPLAYED "SERVICE STEERING; SERVICE BATTERY". WHEN SHIFTED IN REVERSE THE STEERING WOULD NOT RESPOND AND BEHAVED LIKE IT WAS LOCKED. AFTER A FEW MINUTES (3 TO 5 MINUTES), THE VEHICLE WAS BACK TO NORMAL. *TR
CRACKED DASHBOARD THAT EXTENDS COMPLETELY ACROSS THE DASHBOARD TO THE DRIVING CONSOLE. THE CRACK STARTS NEAR THE PASSENGER AIRBAG.
DASH IS CRACKING OVER INSTRUMENTS AND IT IS CRACKING MORE AND MORE EVERY DAY IF AIR BAG DEPLOY TIT WILL SEND DASH FRAGMENTS INTO THE FRONT 2 PASSENGERS FACE . THIS IS HAPPENING TO THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WITH THE SAME CAR . THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A DEFECT FOR GENERAL MOTORS.
2011 GMC YUKON. CONSUMER HAS ATTEMPTED TO GET VEHICLE FIXED. *TA THE CONSUMER STATED THE SAFETY ISSUE IS CREATED WHEN AN UNKNOWN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM IN THE VEHICLE RESULTS IN THE ANTI-THEFT FUSE BLOWING THUS CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STALL WHILE DRIVING. WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLS, THE POWER STEERING IS ALSO DISABLED MAKING THE VEHICLE IMPOSSIBLE TO STEER. THE DEALER INDICATED THE CAUSE WAS LIKELY DUE TO AN ELECTRICAL SHORT BUT COULDN'T FIND THE EXACT CAUSE. THE DEALER RECOMMENDED REPLACING THE BATTERY AND IGNITION SWITCH AND ADDING SOME TEMPORARY BYPASS CIRCUITS. *JB
THIS AIR BAG DANGER HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A WHILE. I CONTACT THE DEALER AND NO ACTION TO FIX. THEY INDICATE NO SOLUTION AND NO PARTS TO REPAIR AT PRESENT.
TAKATA RECALL GM AND TAKATA HAVE NOT RESOLVED THIS REMEDY. I'VE CHECKED TWICE A YEAR FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS AND GET NOWHERE ON REPLACING THE DEFECTIVE RECALL FROM THE GM DEALER.
2011 2-WD YUKON XL 1500 ENGINE STALL. TOOK DELIVERY 7/1/2011. ON 7/5/2011, WHILE DRIVING AT CITY SPEEDS, ENGINE STALLED (SHUT OFF), WAS ABLE TO RESTART. THIS HAPPENED TWICE CONSECUTIVELY. DID NOT EXPERIENCE AGAIN UNTIL 7/14/2011. THIS TIME WAS DRIVING IN CENTER LANE, 5 LANE FREEWAY, DURING RUSH HOUR AT POSTED 65 MPH SPEED. AGAIN, ENGINE STALLED (SHUT DOWN). DURING 3 CYCLES OF STALL/SHUT DOWN/RESTART, WAS ABLE TO MAKE MY WAY TO RIGHT LANE, DRIVE/COAST TO EXIT RAMP, EXIT FREEWAY AND ENTER A RETAIL PARKING LOT WITHOUT AN ACCIDENT. DURING PROCESS, HEARD A POP/CLICK TO MY LEFT IN THE DASHBOARD. TURNED OFF AIR CONDITIONER, RESTARTED TRUCK AND MADE MY WAY HOME. DURING THIS DRIVE HOME, THE ALTERNATOR/VOLTAGE GAUGE NEEDLE BOUNCED TO EXTREME RIGHT FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, THEN SETTLED BACK CLOSER TO CENTER. PRIOR TO INCIDENT, I HAD NOTICED SAME NEEDLE OCCASIONALLY/ODDLY SLIGHT TO THE LEFT. TRUCK WAS TOWED TO SELLING DEALERSHIP THAT EVENING. THE FOLLOWING DAY, THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT RAN FULL DIAGNOSTICS AND REPORTED "NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE/OPERATING NORMALLY". THERE ARE NO "CODES" OR ANY "HISTORY CODES" SHOWING ANYTHING ABNORMAL OCCURRED WITH THE VEHICLE. 7/18/2011 OPENED CASE FILE WITH GM, BUT LITTLE ASSISTANCE HAS BEEN OFFERED BY THEM OTHER THAN "WE CALLED THE DEALERSHIP". TRUCK HAS BEEN HOUSED AT THE DEALERSHIP NOW FOR 11 DAYS. WE ARE AT A STALEMATE. OUR POSITION IS THE CAR IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. DEALERSHIP/GM'S POSITION IS THEY CAN FIND NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. THEY HAVE SUGGESTED WE PICK UP THE VEHICLE AND DRIVE IT UNTIL THE PROBLEM OCCURS AGAIN THEN AGAIN HAVE IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. OUR RESPONSE IS: IF WE AGREE TO DO THAT, AND ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO AGAIN "SURVIVE" THE OCCURRENCE WITHOUT BEING INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT, WHY DO THEY/WE BELIEVE THEY WILL BE ABLE TO DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR THE PROBLEM? WITH THE CAR IS STOPPED, IGNITION OFF, KEY OUT, THE CAR WILL PERIODICALLY LUNGE FORWARD WHILE IN PARK. THE LUNGE IS ALWAYS FORWARD AND WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF TURNING CAR OFF. WHEN I NOTIFIED THE DEALER, THEY FLASHED NEW CODE TO THE ON-BOARD COMPUTER. THE NEXT TIME I INFORMED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT IT WAS STILL DOING LUNGING, THEY STATED THIS IS "NORMAL". ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO, I WAS KNOCKED TO THE GROUND WHEN THE VEHICLE LUNGED FORWARD. I WAS CHECKING THE OIL AT THE TIME. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 GMC YUKON DENALI. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT SPEEDS OF 55-60 MPH AND TRYING TO APPLY THE BRAKES, THE VEHICLE WOULD SHIMMY. HE DID NOT HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND HE FELT THAT IT WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM LIGHT ILLUMINATED TWICE. FURTHERMORE, THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED "HARD" AT TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO STATED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO STATED THAT THEY WOULD RETURN HIS CALL. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 6,000. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 325.
I PURCHASED A RADIAN 80SLMODEL # US18500 ABOUT 6 MONTHS OR SO AGO AND I HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH IT COMING LOSE WITH THE LATCH SYSTEM AND SEATBELT. I DISCONTINUED USING IT AND HAD TO BUY A REPLACEMENT SEAT FOR MY 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. I NEVER COULD GET THE SEATBELT TO TIGHTEN ENOUGH TO NOT MOVE A GREAT AMOUNT. THE LATCH SYSTEM WAS THE SAME.
