Truck loss power turning off while making a turn into driveway with incoming traffic. Happen on several occasions. Diagnostic at dealership states high pressure fuel pump is leaking fuel internal making it run rich. NHTSA states this model truck has had previous recall.
Fuel line rubs between cab and tank making a hole. Fuel pours out on when driving or running. Huge fire risk. Glad I caught it before the car burned up with us in it.

Gas line leak
RAW FUEL FUMES INSIDE THE CAB AND OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE. AFTER LOOKING UNDER THE VEHICLE THERE IS A SLOW BUT STEADY FUEL LEAK FROM THE GAS TANK. I BELIEVE IT IS THE PLASTIC FUEL LINE THAT HAS WORN A HOLE IN ITSELF FROM RUBBING ON ANOTHER OBJECT.
WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND SUDDENLY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STARTED FLASHING AND THE ESP LIGHT CAME ON. I WAS VERY CLOSE TO HOME SO I DROVE BACK HOME AND AS I STOPPED THE CAR IT STARTED SHAKING AND I TURNED IT OFF. BROUGHT IT TO THE MECHANIC AND HE SAID THE FUEL INJECTORS NEED TO BE REPLACED. I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT MY CAR FOR 11 DAYS NOW AS THIS IS SUCH A COMMON PROBLEM THAT ALL THE PARTS ARE ON BACK ORDER. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND NEEDS TO BE RECALLED ESPECIALLY AS IT IS SUCH A COMMON PROBLEM. FOR SUCH AN EXPENSIVE CAR THESE KINDS OF THINGS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING. HOPING FOR A RECALL SOON SO THAT I CAN RECEIVE MY MONEY BACK. *TR
JULY 26, 2016 WE WERE IN LAS VEGAS TRAVELING ON THE STRIP AND OUR VEHICLE LOSS POWER AND DIED, IT STARTED UP AFTER A FEW MINUTES. A CODE WAS SET FOR FUEL PUMP PRESSURE, THEN TODAY WE WERE IN MARNA AZ, AND OUR VEHICLE DIED WHILE DRIVING IN TOWN. A POLICEMAN FOLLOWED US TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG AND WE TOLD HIM. TO OUR SURPRISE HE HAS BEEN HAVING THE SAME ISSUE WITH HIS 2015 TAHOE. HE BROUGHT HIS VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD HIM IT HERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE FUEL PUMP WHEN THE TEMP IS TOO HOT.
Fuel pump leak. our cabin fills up with exhaust causing myself and my 3 young kids (1,3,5) to start coughing, eyes and throat burning, headaches & a hard time breathing. confirmed by GMC dealer in concord & separate auto shop. They told us it had a recall and that they couldn't fix it after paying them to diagnose it since it was recall. Now GMC dealer is telling us that the problem and recall exists for other 2015 Yukon models but our VIN # Is not included and that's why they never fixed the problem that I've been complaining about since I bought the truck (dont remember exact purchase date but the vehicle was new and under warranty for years). I've taken it to the dealership 3 times for the same problem (exhaust smell in cabin) and they kept saying it's fine. Now it's so bad that we can't drive it because it makes us feel sick.
