THE BRAKE LIGHT IS OUT AND A SINGLE TAIL LIGHT IS OVER 500$ Very dangerous to have tail light out and can cause an accident. There should be a recall on these defective LED lights.
The vehicle main information cluster randomly goes in and out and now has completely stopped working. This is the information display that shows Park, Nuetral, Drive, Reverse, Fuel gauge, digital MPH and other information such as oil tire pressure, turn signals, forward collision. Just knowing if the vehicle is in Park Reverse or Drive is a huge saftey issue. This seems to be a common problem on GM vehicles and i wcan't seem to find a recall issued for the saftey factor that the vehicle can be assumed to be in Park and it's actually in Reverse. The first time I noticed this problem was Sept. 05, 2020 but it had reset when I restarted the vehicle. The problem would resurface occasionally but always came back on when restarting the vehicle. But know it seems that restarting the vehicle is not fixing the problem and the screen has been blank for the last 3 days.

LED brake light works intermittently.
The retractable side steps on the passenger side retracts while still getting into the vehicle. It almost catches the entire foot in the door. It’s a safety hazard for my children and parents. It is currently an out of pocket expense and my vehicle has less than 55000 miles on it. It has happened multiple time including today.
Tail Brake Light failure The tail brake lights have gone out on a vehicle that isn't 10 years old yet. Tail lights should not go out this quickly and the dealership will kindly replace them at $1300 per tail light. This is absolutely absurd! It is available for inspection. This definitely puts myself and others at risk! Yes, this problem has been confirmed and inspected by a GMC dealer. Advised this is a very common problem with this vehicle. There are no warning lamps or messages to alert when the brake lights have gone out. Instrument Cluster failure The instrument cluster is also faulty in this truck. This is the 2nd time within a year that i have had issues with this. Safety concern is that you will not know if the vehicle is running hot because the gauges stop working. Also runs the battery down as the fan continues to run for about 10 minutes after the vehicle is turned off. Yes, the problem has been confirmed and inspected by a dealer. Advised that this is a very common problem with this vehicle. No, there are no warning lamps or messages to alert you of the problem. You just notice a different noise while driving, the gauges stop working and then when you turn it off, the fan continues to run.
2017 Yukon Denali manufactured in 2016. It requires the exact same repairs as the 2016 service bulletin N192291660. My Transmission wiring Harness must be replaced including the gasket and filter. The Global Safety Feild Investigation DCS5461 only included 2016 and not car manufactured in 2016 and labeled as 2017. I have the exact same error codes p0711. The Global Safety Field Investigation was issued in July 29, 2020.
NHTSA Campaign number: 18V586. GM’s number for this recall is 18289
Driver’s side rear Tail light stopped working. It’s not even 5 years old. Bought August 2017 Brand new. I know there is a recall on 2015-2016 models for the same problem.
Brake light not working.
Both the passenger and driver side tail lamps have failed and the assembly had to be replaced.
Water in 3rd brake light
BRAKE LIGHTS INTERMITTENTLY WORK. WILL COME ON SOMETIMES AND THEN GO OUT. THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE CAR IS STILL AND WHILE MOVING.
BRAKE LIGHT FAILURE. BRAKE LIGHTS WORK INCONSISTENTLY. CHANGING THE BULB DOES NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THIS IS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE THAT HAS BEEN REPORTED BY NUMEROUS OWNERS. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD AS THE COMPONENTS HAVE TO BE REPAIRED BY A TECHNICIAN WHICH CAUSES HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS, PER LIGHT. THIS IS A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT THAT SHOULD BE RECALLED!!!
The information screen on the gauge cluster sometimes will stop working. This is dangerous as It is the only part that shows if the vehicle is in Park, Reverse, Nuetral, or drive. It also is the only part that shows the vehicles fuel level, blinker, cruise control, temperature and other warnings and controls. This is a common problem for the 2015- xxxx Yukon and Tahoe.
