I have experienced 2-3 sec hesitation upon accelerating. This hesitation occurs occasionally usually when turning and the is stopped or moving slowly. When it has happened I have experienced threatening safety situations particularly when making turns when crossing oncoming traffic such as when making a left 90 degree turn at a stop light with oncoming traffic in the lane I am crossing or if I have to make a quick acceleration to avoid a rapidly threatening safety situation.
