ON 11/22, WHEN MY CAR WAS IN ACCESSORY MODE, THE STEREO SYSTEM WAS FLICKERING AND THE WARNING SIGN SAYING THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY BRAKE SYSTEM APPEARED ON THE DASH BOARD. I ALSO NOTICED MY BREAK PEDAL WAS PULSATING. I TOOK IT TO HONDA AND THEY CHANGED THE BATTERY OF MY CAR ON 11/30. I CALLED HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY TOLD ME THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE A FIX FOR IT. TWO DAYS AFTER I GOT MY BATTERY CHANGERS, THE TOUCH SCREEN WENT OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND CAUSED THE STEREO SYSTEM TO REBOOT. TODAY, I WAS AT THE STOP LIGHT WAITING FOR THE LIGHT TO TURN GREEN. THERE WAS NOT A CAR INFRONT OF ME AND WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN I TOOK MY FOOT OFF THE PEDAL AND THE CAR STARTED TO MOVE. ABOUT TWO SECONDS OF MOVING THE CAR, THE CAR BREAKED BY ITSELF AND THE HAZARDS LIGHTS CAME ON- THIS HAPPENED ON 12/14. A CAR BEHIND ME HAD TO SWERVE TO AVOID HITTING ME.
PURCHASED NEW 2019 HONDA ACCORD SEDAN ON 07/17/2019. WHILE DRIVING ON VACATION IN SEPTEMBER 2019 ON INTERSTATE GOING AROUND 75 MPH REACHED OVER TO PUT CUP IN HOLDER AND LIGHTLY BUMPED GEAR SHIFT. THIS MOVED GEAR SHIFT BACK FROM DRIVE TO NEUTRAL. DID NOT TOUCH BUTTON ON FRONT OF STICK TO CHANGE GEARS! PUSHED BACK ON STICK TO PUT BACK INTO DRIVE AND IT MOVED BACK INTO DRIVE WITHOUT BRAKING OR USING BUTTON ON STICK TO CHANGE FROM NEUTRAL TO DRIVE. THIS HAPPENED AGAIN LATER IN SEPTEMBER ON INTERSTATE WHILE GOING 60 MPH BY HITTING GEAR STICK WITH MY KNEE WHILE REPOSITIONING LEGS IN SEAT DRIVING. ALSO ONCE AGAIN IN DECEMBER ON INTERSTATE WHILE DRIVING AROUND 60 MPH ALSO BUMPING BACK OF GEAR STICK. I HAVE HAD NO REPAIRS. DID ASK SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT PATTY PECK HONDA WHY THIS WAS OCCURING AND THEY DENIED THAT IT WAS EVEN POSSIBLE.
HONDA 6 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION REVERSE GEAR LOCK OUT SAFETY MECHANISM FAILED TO WORK UNTIL NOW. THE PROBLEM IS STILL EXISTED ON MY VEHICLE. AFTER MY CAR WAS SERVICED AT HONDA DEALER FOR ENGINE BLOCK REPLACEMENT (FAILED AT 3400 MILES), REVERSE GEAR LOCK OUT DO NOT WORK. HAVING THE REVERSE GEAR GATE LOCATED AT FAR RIGHT, THERE MUST BE ELECTRONIC LOCK OUT MECHANISM NOT ALLOWING THE SHIFT SELECTOR PASS THE 5TH AND 6TH GEAR COLUMN WHEN CAR IS MOVING FORWARD AT CERTAIN SPEED. SINCE SUCH FUNCTION HAS FAILED ON MY CAR, I CAN EASILY MOVE THE SHIFTER TO THE COLUMN WHERE REVERSE GEAR IS AT ANY SPEED. PROBLEM IS IF I SHIFT FROM 5TH TO 6TH, SHIFTER SLIDE INTO REVERSE GEAR GATE AND GRINDS AT HIGH SPEED. IT CAUSED ANOTHER SHIFTING PROBLEM AND IT MAYBE POTENTIALLY SAFETY ISSUE AT HIGHWAY SPEED. WHEN I SHIFT FROM 4TH TO 5TH, AGAIN SHIFTER SLIDES PASS THE 5TH GEAR GATE, AND ENDS UP MISS SHIFT SINCE THERE IS NO FORWARD GEAR ON TOP OF REVERSE GEAR SELECTING COLUMN. I FEAR THE GRINDS SHIFTING TO 6TH. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING WITHOUT OVERDRIVE FOR MORE THAN 1 MONTH.. IT COULD CAUSE POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION ACCELERATING AT RAMP TO MOTORWAY. THERE ARE SIGNIFICANT TIME DELAY ACCELERATING WITH HIGHER GEARS ON FREEWAY. HAVE BEEN TO HONDA DEALERS 3 TIMES. UNFORTUNATELY ALL OF SERVICE ADVISORS AND TECHS WERE AWARE OF THE GEAR SHIFTING SAFETY FEATURE WHICH IS CLEARLY PUBLISHED IN OWNERS MANUAL PAGE 490.

The contact stated that on another occasion while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled but restarted independently. There was an unknown warning light that flashing on the instrument panel. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was unknown. Parts distribution disconnect.
NEW 2019 HONDA ACCORD EX IN BLACK WITH 7000 MILES HAS MULTIPLE SPOTS ON THE ROOF WHERE THE PAINT IS PEELING. THE CAR IS PARKED IN THE GARAGE MOST OF THE TIME.
1ST TIME: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL ON, VEHICLE DRIVING UNDER 25MPH IN TRAFFIC. THE SYSTEM WORKS FINE UNDER A TIME LAPSE OF 1-2 MINUTES AFTER THAT THE SYSTEM TURNS OFF AUTOMATICALLY & WARNING INDICATION POPS UP ON DASH. "COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM PROBLEM SEE YOUR DEALER" NORMAL CONDITIONS ON THE ROAD & TRAFFIC WHEN THE PROBLEM HAPPENS. THE WARNING LIGHT RESETS AFTER THE CAR IS TURNED OFF. TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER & NOTHING WAS FOUND IN THE SYSTEM. THEY RECOMMENDED REMOVING TOLL STICKER FROM THE WINDSHIELD. I REMOVED THE STICKER & LEAVE THE DEALER TO TEST THE SYSTEM. 2ND TIME: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL ON, SPEED SET TO 60MPH ON HIGHWAY. NORMAL CONDITIONS ON THE ROAD & TRAFFIC. SAME PROBLEM, THE SYSTEM WORKS FINE UNDER A TIME LAPSE OF 1-2 MINUTES AFTER THAT THE SYSTEM TURNS OFF AUTOMATICALLY & WARNING INDICATION POPS UP ON DASH.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, AN EXPLOSION OCCURRED. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER AND NOTICED THAT THE SUN ROOF EXPLODED WITHOUT WARNING OR AN IMPACT OCCURRING. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PEARSON HONDA (14001 HULL STREET RD, VA 23112, (804) 745-0300) WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE TRACKING WAS OFF AND THAT THE WARRANTY WOULD NOT COVER THE REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1,100.
CAR HAS GONE INTO LIMP MODE TWICE. FIRST TIME WAS WHEN I HAD IT FOR 2 WEEKS. I WAS DRIVING 65MPH AND THE CAR JUST STOPPED IN THE HIGHWAY. I HAD TO GET THE CAR OFF THE ROAD TO KEEP FROM GETTING HIT AND CAUSED SOME UNDERCARRIAGE DAMAGE. THE CAR WAS TOWED. HONDA "FIXED" THE LIMP MODE ISSUE BUT REFUSED TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY OTHER DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE CAR GOING INTO LIMP MODE. LAST MONTH I WAS COMING HOME FROM WORK AT 2:30 AM AND THE CAR WENT INTO LIMP MODE AGAIN. THE CAR WAS TOWED FOR A SECOND TIME TO A DIFFERENT HONDA DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY STATED THERE WAS NO WAY THE FIRST DEALERSHIP FIXED THE CAR. THERE WERE METAL SHAVINGS NOTED THROUGHOUT THE SYSTEM, THE FUEL INJECTOR AND ALL OF THE CYLINDERS HAD TO BE REPLACED. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE METAL SHAVING NOTED IN MY OIL AND THROUGHOUT THE SYSTEM CAUSING FURTHER ENGINE DAMAGE AS TIME GOES ON. HONDA HAS ALSO REFUSED TO PAY FOR MY RENTAL CAR DURING THIS PROCESS EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A MANUFACTURING ISSUE. HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE ON 6/7/19 ALSO STATED THAT IF THE CAR GOES INTO LIMP MODE AGAIN AND I GET HIT, ALL ADDITIONAL DAMAGE CAUSED FROM THE ACCIDENT WILL BE MY RESPONSIBILITY.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY WHEN MY SUN/MOON ROOF JUST SHATTERED FOR NO REASON. THERE WERE NO CARS AROUND ME, AND I DID NOT GO UNDER ANY OVERPASSES. THE GLASS DID NOT HAVE ANY CHIPS, CRACKS, OR ANY DAMAGE FROM BEING ON THE ROAD. IT LITERALLY JUST EXPLODED. I WAS LUCKY TO HAVE MY SUN ROOF COVER CLOSED, OR I WOULD HAVE HAD THE GLASS RAIN DOWN ON ME WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY.
I BOUGH A BRAND NEW 2019 HONDA ACCORD 2.0T TOURING FROM HONDA CARS OF ROCKWALL IN TX AROUND MID AUGUST AND HAVE SINCE BEEN DRIVING THE CAR ON A DAILY BASIS. AT AROUND 12K MILES I TOOK THE ENGINE COVER OFF TO CLEAN IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT, I HA VE DISCOVERED 2 SMALL POOLS OF OIL JUST SITTING BETWEEN THE REAR SIDE OF VALVE COVER AND THE ENGINE BLOCK JUST DIRECTLY UNDER THE PCV VALVE PORT. I HAVE READ SEVERAL ONLINE THREADS THAT SIMILAR OWNERS OF THE SAME CAR AND THE TYPE R WHICH HAS THE SAME ENGINE ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME ISSUE WITH POSSIBLY WRAPPED HEAD OR DEFECTIVE VALVE COVER
WHEN REMOVING THE ELECTRONIC PARKING BRAKE, TO BEGIN DRIVING, ONE OR MORE BRAKE PADS GET STUCK TO THE ROTOR THEN IS VIOLENTLY RETURNED TO THE OPEN POSITION. THIS HAPPENS IN WEATHER BELOW 40 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT, AFTER DRIVING, THEN PARKING FOR MERE MINUTES, EVEN WHEN THE CAR IS STILL RUNNING. MANY SOURCES THIS IS DUE TO THE MASTER CYLINDER NOT HAVING ENOUGH PRESSURE TO RELAX THE CALIPER. THIS IS VERY HAZARDOUS UNDER LOW SPEED AND I HAVE EXPERIENCED EXTREMELY WEAK BRAKING WHEN IN A PARKING LOT.
THE OEM HANKOOK TIRES ARE UNSAFE AT ANY SPEED. THE TIRES ROUTINELY HYDROPLANE ON WET PAVEMENT WITH SPEEDS AS SLOW AS 45 MPH. THIS IS A MONTHLY OCCURRENCE. THE REAR TIRES LOSE GRIP DURING LANE CHANGES AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS ON DRY PAVEMENT. THE TIRE DESIGN IS UNSAFE.
OUR BRAND NEW 2019 HONDA ACCORD, WITH ABOUT 1,000 MILES ON IT, WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONT END MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION ON OCTOBER 13, 2019 AT 1:24 PM ON A CITY STREET WITH A SPEED LIMIT OF 45 MPH. WE STRUCK A 2001 F250 AT 45 MPH IN THE SIDE AFTER THE INDIVIDUAL FAILED TO YIELD AND STOPPED SIDEWAYS DIRECTLY IN OUR LANE OF TRAFFIC. MY HONDA RECEIVED SERIOUS FRONT END DAMAGE AND THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT WAS SMOKING, BUT NOT A SINGLE AIR BAG DEPLOYED DURING THIS ACCIDENT. THERE WERE THREE (3) ADULTS AND ONE (1) CHILD IN THE HONDA, THE CHILD AND TWO (2) ADULTS WERE SENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM VIA AMBULANCE. THERE WERE NO MAJOR INJURIES OTHER THAN SEVERE BRUISING AND SOME PULLED MUSCLES WHICH WERE CAUSED BY THE SEAT BELTS. THE FAILURE OF THE AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT DURING A HEAD ON COLLISION OF THIS PROPORTION IS VERY DISTURBING AND AS A RESULT WE HAVE LOST COMPLETE FAITH AND CONFIDENCE IN HONDA'S SAFETY FEATURES. WE ARE VERY THANKFUL THAT THE SEAT BELTS PREVENTED US FROM SLAMMING OUR HEADS INTO THE DASH AND WINDSHIELD, ESPECIALLY SINCE OUR AIR BAGS FAILED US.
BACK WINDSHIELD LEAKED. A THIRD OF THE SEAL WAS NOT INSTALLED AND WATER LEAKED INTO ROOF LINER IN CAR. LEAKED FROM RAIN AND CAR WASH. SUSPENSION CLUNKS AND MAKES NOISE LIKE AN OLD CAR. VEHICLE IN SHOP ALMOST 30 DAYS 1ST YEAR, AT LEAST 18 CONSECUTIVE. DEALER RECOMMENDED VEHICLE BE BOUGHT BACK DUE TO ISSUES BUT HONDA REGIONAL MECHANIC CAME IN AND SAID THA'TS JUST HOW THEY RIDE. CAR STILL RIDES LIKE AN OLD TRUCK OVER BUMPS. NO SATISFACTION AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED.
RECEIVED "COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM PROBLEM. SEE YOUR DEALER." ERROR MESSAGES NO LESS THAN 5 TIMES. THE 2019 ACCORD TOURING HAS ROUGHLY 5K MILES. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER THE FIRST TIME AND RESTARTED THE CAR IN THE BAY. THE ERROR LIGHT WENT AWAY AND THEY TOLD ME TO COME BACK IF IT HAPPENED AGAIN. THE ERROR MESSAGE CAME BACK SEVERAL MORE TIMES OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL WEEKS. I SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT. I SUGGESTED FAULTY BRAKE SWITCH BE LOOKED AT BUT WAS TOLD THE CAR JUST NEEDED A "REBOOT" AND TO CALL IF I HAD ANY FURTHER ISSUES. THE ISSUE RETURNED SEVERAL DAYS LATER. I BELIEVE IN EACH CASE THE ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WAS ON AND SPEEDS WERE UNDER 30. I BELIEVE THE SYSTEM WAS APPLYING THE BRAKES AS WE APPROACHED THE CAR AHEAD IN SLOW MOVING STOP AND GO TRAFFIC. ONLY ON ONE OCCASION WAS THERE RAIN OR WET ROADWAYS. IN ALL OTHER INSTANCES THE ROAD AND SKIES WERE CLEAR EACH TIME ON RELATIVELY STRAIGHT ROAD.
WINDSHIELD SEEMS VERY EASILY DAMAGED BY EVEN THE MOST MINOR IMPACTS WITH EVEN THE SMALLEST CHIP SPREADING VERY QUICKLY.
DURING A HIGHWAY DRIVE DURING RAIN, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STARTED TO BLINK. I WAS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN SPEED OR MOVE TO THE RIGHT LANE AND PULL OVER BECAUSE OF TRAFFIC. A LARGE 18 WHEELER BEHIND ME ALMOST REAR-ENDED MY VEHICLE. I PULLED OVER AND INSPECTED THE ENGINE, WATER WAS ABLE TO GET INTO THE AIR BOX AND APPEARS CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO ENTER LIMP MODE. I HAD A CO-WORKER WITH THE SAME VEHICLE HAVE THE SAME PROBELM DURING RAIN STORM. DEALER WAS UNABLE TO LOCTED SOTRED CODE OR FIND THE PROBLEM.
WINDSHIELD STRESS CRACKS AFTER 1 MONTH OF OWNERSHIP ON PASSENGER BOTTOM CORNER SIDE STARTING FROM EDGE OF SHIELD GLASS. NO ROCKS OR OTHER PROJECTILES HIT THE GLASS. ONLINE REPORTS SHOW THAT THE SAME CRACK IN THE SAME GENERAL POSITION ARE HAPPENING ON THESE 10TH GENERATION HONDA ACCORDS.

ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, WHILE DRIVING, THE LANE DEPARTURE FEATURE AND AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM ACTIVATED INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT A VEHICLE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO METRO HONDA IN UNION COUNTY (4918 US-74, INDIAN TRAIL, NC 28079, (866) 756-8838) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT CAMERA AND SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SENSOR AND CAMERA WERE REPLACED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,000. THE VIN WAS INVALID.
WHEN I WENT TO START MY CAR AFTER PARKING IT IN A PARKING LOT, MY CAR WOULDN'T START. THE CONTROL PANEL WAS FLASHING ON AND OFF AND STATED THAT THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE BRAKE SYSTEM AND TO SEE MY DEALER. I HAD THE CAR TOLLED TO HONDA. AFTER INSPECTING THE CAR, THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS A DEFECTIVE CELL IN THE BATTERY AND THEY REPLACED THE BATTERY. I PURCHASED MY CAR BRAND NEW LAST YEAR IN 2019 YET THIS DEFECTIVE BATTERY CAUSED ME TO BE STRANDED, WHICH I DON'T EXPECT TO HAPPEN WITH AN ESSENTIALLY NEW CAR.
CLEAR COAT AND PAINT PEELING ON MY BRAND NEW 2 WEEKS OLD CAR. PAINT IS BLACK THE CAR IS 2019 HONDA ACCORD. AREAS AFFECTED ARE HOOD, ROOF AND TRUNK BUT NOT LIMITED TO OTHER PANELS. THIS IS SERIOS ISSUE AND I AM IN THE PROCESS OF DEALING WITH MY DEALERSHIP ON RESOLVING THE ISSUE... NOTHING WAS DONE TO THE CAR I PURCHASED IT WITH THIS PROBEM.
I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE AND NOTICED ON THE WAY HOME FROM DEALER THAT IT HAD A VIBRATION IN THE STEERING. AT 62MPH THE VIBRATION WAS VERY BAD. I CALLED THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THE WEIGHT ON THE WHEEL PROBABLY CAME OFF. I DROVE THIS VEHICLE 300 MILES AND TOOK IT TO THE DEALER. THEY REMOVED THE WHEEL AND TIRE AND FOUND A BULGE ON FRONT TIRE. THEY REPLACED THE TIRE AND TODAY I GOT AN E-MAIL FROM HONDA MOTOR STATING THIS WAS NOT A HONDA PROBLEM AND I NEEDED TO CONTACT THE TIRE COMPANY [HANKOOK] THIS CAR SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN SOLD AND THE DEFECT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT EITHER WITH THE TIRE MANUFACTURE OR BY HONDA WHEN IT WAS INSTALLED. THEIR TAKE ON THIS IS ALMOST LIKE IT IS MY FAULT I SELECTED THE THE WRONG CAR
WHEN THE CAR IS IN DRIVE AND YOUR FOOT IS ON THE BREAKS,SO YOU ARE STANDING STILL, YOU CAN FEEL THE BREAK PEDDLE LOOSE PRESSURE AND THE BREAK PEDDLE GOES FURTHER DOWN. ALSO, WHEN BREAKING AT SLOW SLOW SPEEDS, IT FEELS LIKE IT STOPS GRABBING THE ROTORS AND YOU NEED TO PUSH FURTHER DOWN ON THE BREAKS.

DEALERSHIP SAID THAT THERE WAS NO RECORD OF THE CAR SHUTTING DOWN OR ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON.

AT LEAST FOR ME, A 6' TALL MAN IN HIS 60S, THE PEDALS ARE DANGEROUS AND PLACED WRONG. IT IS A DESIGN DEFECT.
WITH ONLY LESS THAN 800 MILES ON THE CAR, MY 2019 HONDA ACCORD VSA MODULATOR (WHICH WAS DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALERSHIP) FAILED. I FELT THE CAR BEGIN TO BOG ON THE HIGHWAY RIGHT BEFORE WE WERE ON THE EXIT. THEN, THE GAS PEDAL STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY AND THE CAR LOST SPEED. I WOULD PRESS HARD ON THE GAS PEDAL AND THE CAR WOULD TAKE ABOUT 3 SECONDS BEFORE IT STARTED TO MOVE FORWARD, JERKING IN THE DIRECTION I INTENDED IT TO GO. AFTER STRUGGLING A LITTLE WHILE, I LUCKILY PULLED OVER AND CALLED A TOW TRUCK TO SEND MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP. I FELT THAT I WAS VERY LUCKY TO BE ABLE TO SAFELY PULL OVER. 1ST, IT HAPPENED DURING AN EARLY SUNDAY MORNING WITH HEAVY RAIN, SO THERE WAS NOT MUCH TRAFFIC. 2ND, THE EVENT OCCURRED RIGHT BEFORE WE WERE GOING TO EXIT THE HIGHWAY WITH ONLY A FEW HUNDREDS OF FEET TO GO. ALSO, IT'S IN MY HOMETOWN AND I KNOW THE ROAD VERY WELL. OTHERWISE, AN UNCONTROLLABLE CAR COULD CAUSE VERY SERIOUS ACCIDENT. IF WE WERE TO CRASH, THE EVENT WOULD LIKELY BE ATTRIBUTED TO DRIVER FAULT - SINCE IT IS SUCH A NEW CAR - RATHER THAN A CRUCIAL CAR PART FAILING, WHICH COULD CAUSE DEATH TO MANY OTHERS WHO BUY NEW HONDA ACCORD 2019S. THEREFORE, I BELIEVE THAT THIS ISSUE SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN LIGHTLY AND SHOULD BE FURTHER INVESTIGATED.
I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW HONDA ACCORD 2019 SPORT IN BLACK IN MARCH 2019. WITHIN 3 MONTHS I NOTICED IN MAY THESE WHITE SPOTS SHOW UP. I IMMEDIATELY HAD 3 DETAILERS LOOK AT THE SPOTS AND THEY SAID IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE PAINT JOB. I CALLED HONDA AND STARTED A CLAIM, THEY TOLD ME TO TAKE THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP I PURCHASED IT FROM AND HAVE THEM TO REVIEW IT, THEY WERE RUDE AND STATED THAT IT WAS MY FAULT AND THAT I HAD TO PUT SOMETHING ACIDIC ON IT OR IT WAS ACIDIC RAIN, OR SAP. I HAVE NOT BEEN UNDER A TREE NOR PUT ANYTHING ON MY CAR TO DAMAGE IT, WHY WOULD I WANT TO DO THIS TO MY OWN CAR, I BROUGHT UP ISSUES WITH THE STEREO SYSTEM AND THE SCREEN FREEZING AND GOING BLACK. THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD TAKE MY STEREO OUT MY CAR AND PUT A REFURBISHED SYSTEM IN MY CAR THAT WILL HAVE THE UPGRADE ALREADY ON THE SYSTEM AND TAKE MINES AND PUT IT IN SOMEONE ELSE'S CAR. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING AND THE CAR IS ONLY 1 YEAR OLD. I FOUND OUT THE CAR WAS MADE THE END OF THE YEAR ON A FRIDAY,I HAD VIDEOS AND THAT STILL WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. NOW I'M LOOKING AT GETTING A PAINT JOB ON A ONE YEAR OLD CAR. I'M SO DISAPPOINTED I REALLY LIKE MY CAR AND FOR ALL THIS TO HAPPEN IN A YEAR I REALLY HATE I BOUGHT THIS CAR.
I INCORRECTLY DESCRIBED THE SAFETY PROBLEM WITH MY HONDA ACCORD IN MY COMPLAINT 11241841, SO HERE'S A CORRECTION. IT IS NOT THE TOP OF THE CALF MUSCLE THAT IS IMPEDED, IT IS THE KNEE WHICH LOCKS AGAINST THE OVERLY THICK PLASTIC (2"-3" HIGH) SURROUNDING THE ENTIRE TOP OF THE CENTER CONSOLE, AND SO YOU MUST MAKE MULTIPLE FOOT AND LEG STABBING MOVEMENTS IN ORDER TO WITH DIFFICULTY ACTUALLY ENGAGE THE BRAKE PEDAL TO STOP AFTER BEING ON THE GAS PEDAL. THIS WOULD EFFECT ALL MALES WITH HEIGHT 5.9" OR OVER AND SOME TALLER WOMEN. THE PROBLEM IS THE KNEE LOCKS TIGHT AGAINST THE CENTER CONSOLES PLASTIC AT THE TOP OF THE CONSOLE, AND YOUR FOOT BECOMES TRAPPED AGAINST THE GAS PEDAL. THE TIME DIFFERENTIAL TO RELOCATE YOUR LEG AND FOOT TO ENGAGE THE BRAKE IS AN ADDITIONAL HALF SECOND OR LONGER. YOU HAVE TO HAV LEGS LONG ENOUGH TO HAVE YOUR KNEE BECOME ADJACENT TO THE 2-3" HIGH THICK PLASTIC ALONG THE TOP EDGE OF THE CENTER CONSOLE WHICH RUNS THE ENTIRE SIDES OF THE CENTER CONSOL AT ITS TOP. IT IS EXTREMELY CRAMPING AND DISRUPTIVE TO LEG MOVEMENT BY PINNING THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE KNEE JOINT. HONDA MUST REMOVE THE AREA OF THAT THICK STRIIP OF HORIZONTAL (FRONT TO BACK) PLASTIC WHERE THE KNEE ENGAGES IT, TO ALLOW ONE TO ROTATE ONE'S FOOT EASILY BETWEEN GAS AND BRAKE. IF THEY DO NOT MULTIPLE FATALITIES MAY OCCUR.
