ON TWO OCCASIONS, MY CIVIC HAS "LOCKED UP". UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE, ALL OF THE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATE AND THE CAR WON'T GO INTO GEAR. I WAS STUCK WHERE I WAS AND HAD TO GET THE CAR MOVING SO I FORCEFULLY ENGAGED THE VEHICLE BY INSERTING THE KEY INTO THE SHIFT KNOB AREA. WHEN DRIVING THE CAR, ALL OF THE WARNING LIGHTS WERE STILL ON AND THE STEERING WHEEL WAS DIFFICULT TO MOVE, THE VEHICLE WAS VERY HARD TO MANEUVER, THE BRAKES DID NOT WORK WELL, AND THE PROBLEM PERSISTED. I EVENTUALLY DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY AND "RESET" THE COMPUTER THAT WAY. THE PROBLEM WENT AWAY FOR A FEW MONTHS, THEN CAME BACK AGAIN SAME EXACT WAY. THE NEXT TIME, I DID THE SAME THING, DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY AND IT RESET. I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS PROBLEM IS WITH THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, TRANSMISSION, BRAKING, OR WHATEVER. ALL I KNOW IS IT WAS VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AFTER I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO ENGAGE THE TRANSMISSION. ONE OTHER POINT TO MAKE, I ALREADY HAD THE "PARKING BRAKE RECALL" SOFTWARE UPDATE COMPLETED BY HONDA. THE DEALERSHIP SAID THEY DID NOT HAVE A RECALL FOR THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM AND ALL THEY COULD DO WOULD BE RESTART THE CAR UNTIL THEY WERE ABLE TO RECREATE THE PROBLEM. I DID NO THINK THIS WAS A GOOD USE OF TIME (THEIRS OR MINE) SO I AM HOPING FOR A RECALL SOON!
UPON STARTING VEHICLE, CENTER CONSOLE SCREEN WAS BLACK. WHEN I TAPPED THE POWER BUTTON, THE SCREEN FLASHED GREEN AND WENT BLACK. NO RADIO FUNCTION, NO CAMERA FUNCTION, NOTHING. I DROVE ON CITY STREETS TO THE GAS STATION AND IN A FEW MINUTES, THE COMPUTER SUDDENLY WOKE UP BY ITSELF AND HAS BEEN FINE SINCE. JUST CALLED THE SERVICE DEPT. WOMAN SAID NO ONE HAS CALLED ABOUT A PROBLEM LIKE THIS, BUT THEY'D BE HAPPY TO RUN A DIAGNOSTIC FOR $100. I'VE BEEN DOWN THIS ROAD BEFORE WITH MY OLD PRIUS. THEY'LL RUN THE DIAGNOSTIC AND TELL ME THEY CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG BECAUSE THEY CAN'T RECREATE THE PROBLEM. MEANWHILE I'LL BE OUT $100 AND MY TIME. AND LOOKING AT FORUMS ON THE INTERNET, THIS IS A PROBLEM FOR OTHER HONDA OWNERS, SO HONDA NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. IT CAN BE A SAFETY ISSUE. DRIVE BY WIRE IS DANGEROUS IF MANUFACTURERS CAN'T GET RELIABLE SOFTWARE. WE'LL SEE IF I HEAR BACK FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT OR NOT ABOUT TSB OR SOFTWARE UPDATES. I DOUBT IT.
MY STEERING WHEEL STICKS. WHEN I AM DRIVING STRAIGHT WHILE MAINTIANING A STRAIGHT PATH YOU HAVE TO MAKE STEERING ADJUSTMENTS. IT STICK AND THEN CAUSES ME TO OVER COMPENSATE. WHEN DRIVING AROUND A CURVE I CAN LET GO OF THE STEERING WHEEL AND IT HOLD THE CURVE AND DOESN'T ROLL BACK TOT HE CENTER POSITION LIKE IT SHOULD. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY CANT RECREATE IT SO NOTHING GETS FIX. IT HAPPENS ABOUT 40 PERCENT OF THE TIME. IT HAPPENS WHILE IN MOTION. MY CAR IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY
LETTER FROM CONGRESSMAN KING ON BEHALF OF CONSTITUENT RE 2016 HONDA CIVIC DEFECTIVE CAR. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED THE BLUETOOTH WOULD FREEZE DURING AN INCOMING CALL. THIS CAN ONLY BE CORRECTED BY SHUTTING THE VEHICLE OFF. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS IDLE THE AIR CONDITIONER WOULD BLOW HOT AIR. THE STEERING WHEEL MELTED BLACK PARTICLES ONTO THE DRIVERS HANDS. THE CONSUMER REQUESTED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPLACED. *JS
DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND SUNROOF EXPLODED. NOT GOING UNDER ANY OVERPASS OR BRIDGE. GLASS RAINED DOWN ON ME AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. NO CARS NEAR ME. AND NOT DRIVING UNDER AN OVERPASS OR BRIDGE AT THE TIME.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 HONDA CIVIC. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE SHOOK. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER (ROSEBURG HONDA, 1950 NW MULHOLLAND DR, ROSEBURG, OR 97470, (541)-672-6227), BUT A FAILURE WAS NOT FOUND. THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CV AXLE FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
TAKARA RECALL I BOUGHT THE CAR MARCH 2016. SUMMERS GET PRETTY HOT IN OHIO SO OF COURSE I HAVE TO USE THE AC. WORKED PERFECTLY THAT YEAR. WELL THE FOLLOWING YEAR WHEN I WENT TO USE IT IT NEVER WORKED AT ALL. BLEW OUT WARM AIR AND NEVER COOLED DOWN. SO WHEN I CONTACTED THE DEALER THEY SAID " MAYBE YOU HAVE A PIN HOLE IN A LINE, MAYBE COMPRESSOR, LOW FREON OR SOMETHING ELSE." I WAS PRETTY UPSET THAT IT WASN'T UNDER WARRANTY ANYMORE BUT HOW COULD SOMETHING GO WRONG AFTER ONE SUMMER. I HAVE KIDS AND I'M UNABLE TO TAKE THEM ANYWHERE IN MY CAR BECAUSE IT'S SO HOT. I HAVE A BUDDY WHO HAS THE SAME YEAR AND TYPE VEHICLE AND HE HAS ACTUALLY THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE READ PLENTY OF OTHER COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS AND WONDER WHY THE AC SYSTEM HASN'T HAD A RECALL YET. TOLD IT COULD COST UP TO $1000.00 TO FIX. DEALERSHIP HAS HAD COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS AND CANT DO ANYTHING UNTIL A RECALL IS IN PLACE BUT SAID THEY WILL REIMBURSE ME WHEN THERE IS ONE SO HOLD ON TO RECEIPT. SEEMS TO BE A COMMON ISSUE. I REALLY HOPE HONDA LOOKS INTO THIS MATTER. BECAUSE IT IS REALLY UPSETTING THAT THIS HAPPENED ONLY AFTER ONE YEAR OF DRIVING IT.
REAR WHEELS LOCK INTERMITTENTLY. EXCESSIVE REAR ROTOR WEAR, WITH NORMAL WEAR ON PADS. APPEARS AS IF PADS HAVE WORN OUT ALLOWING FOR GRINDING AGAINST ROTORS. HOWEVER, PADS EXHIBIT NORMAL WEAR. HONDA OFFERS NO EXPLANATION FOR CORROSION. FOR COMPARISON HAVE ATTACHED PHOTOS OF REAR ROTOR AND FRONT ROTOR. REAR ROTORS EXHIBIT SIGNIFICANT WEAR/CORROSION WITH PAD LIFE AROUND 60%. THIS IS EQUAL ON BOTH REAR WHEELS OF THE VEHICLE. FRONT ROTORS HAVE NORMAL WEAR @70% PAD REMAINING. CALIFORNIA BASED VEHICLE, BUT EXPOSED TO SNOW AND WINTER DRIVING. REAR WHEELS LOCK ON AN INTERMITTENT BASIS, AS IF REAR PARKING BRAKE IS BEING APPLIED. POTENTIALLY VERY DANGEROUS, ESPECIALLY IN COLD WEATHER DRIVING.
STEERING STICKS. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DRIVE STRAIGHT ON THE FREEWAY FORCING YOU TO ZIG ZAG CONTINUOUSLY IN A LANE. PROBLEM IS MOST NOTABLE AT SPEEDS OVER 40MPH. PROBLEM STARTED WAS FIRST NOTED IN SUMMER OF 2017 (WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY) AND CONTINUES TO TODAY.
SIR/MA'AM, I WOULD LIKE TO ADDRESS SOMEWHAT SAFETY PROBLEM THAT MANY CIVIC HAVE. HONDA CIVIC HAS A CENTER TOUCH SCREEN THAT CONTROLS RADIO, TEMPERATURE AND IMPORTANTLY SHOWS REAR VIEW CAMERA AND RIGHT SIDE CAMERA. TODAY THE CENTER SCREEN DIDN'T EVEN TURN ON AND WASN'T ABLE TO SEE AN OBJECT REAR AND UNDERNEATH OF MY CAR DUE TO THE SCREEN NOT TURNED ON. IT IS KNOWN ISSUE FOR CIVIC COMMUNITY. I WISH THAT NHTSA TAKE A LOOK INTO THIS ISSUES.
The A/C hasn't fully worked since car was purchased in 2016. Driver side blows hot air and passenger side cool (not cold) air in summer and in winter/cold months it stays warm on driver side and cool (doesn't get warm enough) on passenger side. Car has been taken to dealership and issue has still not been fixed. No recall by Honda regarding this issue, but lots of forums and complaints online about the same issue. Car was not used for more than 3 months of summer heat last year after being "fixed" and once the hot weather started this year it is back to 100+ degrees inside the car with no A/C cooling the car. Even set to Lo, fan at full speed, parked inside garage for a day, and started in the morning, the air blows hot. Having to drive in a hot car is a heat stroke/exhaustion waiting to happen and a hazard to be on the road.
THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS ARE TOO WEAK TO HANDLE A MEDIUM TO HARD RAIN STORM. I WAS CAUGHT IN A BAD STORM WHILE ON THE FREEWAY AND HAD MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS ON FULL SETTING BUT STILL NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO ALLOW SAFE VISIBILITY. IT WAS A VERY DANGEROUS AND FRIGHTENING EXPERIENCE.
Steering gets "notchy" and acts out of sync. when at highway speeds, when trying to move left or right the steering does not respond correctly. You end up overcompensating for slight movements making it dangerous as you may veer too far. Seems to happen after car is warm or temps outside are high. Its also intermittent so hard to get dealership to diagnose. Have read this is an eps problem with steering rack. Should definitely be a safety recall as this is how we "aim" these 2 ton metal machines. Took to a local Honda dealership they said nothing is wrong. I still have the problem! This is a serious defect. Please issue a safety recall.

THE CONTACT HAD SMALL PIECES OF GLASS ON HER SKIN, BUT WAS UNINJURED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED, BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 5,000.
THE CAR INCREASE AND DECREASE ACCELERATED BY ITSELF THAT IS DAGEROU. THAT HAPPENED EVERY DAY WHEN I DRIVE.
THIS CAR'S HORN REALLY CAN NOT BE HEARD BY ANOTHER DRIVER. I REALLY FEEL THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD. I CAN'T IMAGINE A COMPLAINT HAS NOT BEEN FILED. IT REALLY IS DANGEROUS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 HONDA CIVIC. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE BRAKE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE BECAME DIFFICULT TO ACCELERATE FOR A FEW MOMENTS. AFTER THE LIGHT WENT OUT, THE VEHICLE OPERATED NORMALLY. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE INFORMATION CENTER IN THE VEHICLE WOULD RANDOMLY FLICKER AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN UNKNOWN DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS SOFTWARE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 11,158.
ON MAY 09, 2017 I WAS REAR ENDED WHILE SITTING STILL BY A CAR TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH AND PUSHED INTO THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME. I WAS WEARING MY SEATBELT AND MY FACE WAS PROJECTED INTO THE STEERING WHEEL. DURING THE IMPACT MY SEATBELT DIDN'T SEEM TO ACTIVATE AND NOT ONE AIRBAG DEPLOYED. MY VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN INSPECTED YET BUT I WOULD GUESS IT TO BE TOTALED DUE TO THE FRONT AND REAR IMPACT DAMAGE. EVERYONE I'VE SPOKE TO INCLUDING THE POLICE OFFICER AND WRECKER SERVICE WAS VERY SURPRISED THAT THE AIRBAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY. I FEEL VERY LUCKY BUT DO NOT TRUST THIS VEHICLE AND IT'S SAFETY FEATURES.

After a year of purchasing the 2016 Honda Civic with 5 miles on it the Bluetooth connection stopped working.
THE AC HAS WENT OUT ON TWO OCCASIONS. THE FIRST OCCASION WAS DUE TO THE SYSTEM NEEDING TO BE RECHARGED. THE SECOND BEING A HOSE WAS NOT CONNECTED CORRECTLY. THE BACK TWEETER SPEAKERS WENT OUT AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. 3 AUDIO UPDATES NEEDED TO BE DONE. WHILE DRIVING THE CAR STOPPED ACCELERATING AND THE CAR STARTED SHAKING. THERE WAS NO BRAKES OR POWER STEERING AT THIS TIME. DIFFERENT CODES STARTED LIGHTING UP THE DASH. I WAS ABLE TO GET THE CAR STOPPED AND OFF THE ROAD INTO THE DITCH AREA. IT IS CURRENTLY AT HONDA.

HONDA USE SOY ON WIRES BECAUSE IS CHEAPER THAN PLASTIC ,BUT IT ATTRACT RATS AND RODENTS THAT LOVE TO CHEW ON IT .WITCH RESULT IN CAR CRASH AND EXPENSIVE REPAIRS .I HAVE A NEW 2016 HONDA CAR 6 MONTHS OLD WITCH I HAD TO PAY 1481 $ EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A 5 YEARS ENGINE WARRANTY. WHEN REFUELING MY CIVIC THERE IS A 50/50 CHANCE IT WILL OVER FULE AND NOT STOP THE GAS PUMP. SOMETIMES GASOLINE WILL OVERFILL ENOUGH TO MAKE IT TO THE GROUND. I HAVE BEEN TO THE DEALER ABOUT THIS TWICE, BOTH TIMES BEING TOLD HONDA IS AWARE AND INVESTIGATING. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF SOMEONE WERE TO DISCARD A CIGARETTE, AND CATCH THAT GASOLINE THAT OVERFILLED AND SPILLED OUT OF THE CAR ON FIRE?
JUST BOUGHT 11MONTHS, FOUND ENGINE AND EXHAUST PIPE OIL LEAKING, THERE IS A RISK FIRE, HONDA SERVICE PERSON SAID IT IS NOT A ISSUE, ONLY NEED TO CHANGE THE ENGINE CAP. THIS CAR ONLY 20000 - MPH, AND I JUST BOUGHT A NEW CAR. I LOST $9000. IS THERE ANY WAY THE GOVERNMENT CAN HELP ME. THANK YOU! ...UPDATED 04/27/17 *BF *AS
MARCH 2017 - TWO INSTANCES WHILE PUTTING GAS, NOZZLE GOT STUCK IN THE CAPLESS SYSTEM CAUSING OWNER PANIC, LEFT WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS TO PREVENT SUCH OCCURRENCE OR SOLVE THE PROBLEM. OPENED TICKET WITH HONDA APRIL 2, 2017 CASE # 05919498 - NO RESPONSE AS OF TODAY JUNE 27, 2017. NOT SURE PREVALENCE, OBSERVED SOME COMPLAINTS ONLINE.
1) THE AC ONLY HAVE COOL AIR BUT IT IS NOT COLD. IT IS NOT EVEN AS COLD AS THE OUTSIDE AIR. THE TECHNICIAN SAID THAT THE COMPRESSOR AND CONDENSER IS WORKING FINE, SO IT HAS TO BE THE SYSTEMS LEAKING AIR. 2) THE FRONT PASSENGER WINDOW IS OCCASIONALLY CANNOT ROLL DOWN BY BOTH BUTTONS FROM DRIVER OR PASSENGER SIDE. IT HAS TO TAKE A WHILE AND AGGRESSIVELY PUSHED DOWN THE BUTTON FROM PASSENGER SIDE MULTIPLE TIKE TO BE ABLE TO ROLL THE WINDOW DOWN. 3) TOUCH SCREEN INTERMITTEN AUTOMATICALLY FLICKERING LIKE SOMEONE PRESSING ON IT.
I PRESSED MY AUTOMATIC START KEY FROM THE WINDOW OF THE BUILDING , WHILE I WAS GETTING READY ,(WASHING MY FACE, BRUSHING TEETH) AFTER A COUPLE SECONDS LATER I HEARD THE SOUND OF THE ALARM , WHICH WOULD USUALLY TURN ON IF THERE IS A HIT OR IMPACT OR LOUD SOUND . WHEN I CAME DOWNSTAIRS, ABOUT 5-10 MINUTES LATER . I NOTICED THE FRONT WINDOW WAS SHATTERED , I FIGURED MAYBE ONE THE NEIGHBORS WAS PLAYING BALL AND HIT MY WINDOW, WHEN I OPENED MY DOOR I REALIZED THERE WAS A FIRE INSIDE COMING DIRECTLY FROM THE DASHBOARD, EVERYTHING WAS MELTED AND MY DASHBOARD WAS ALSO SUNK IN. I CHECKED IF THERE WAS AN OUTLET CONNECTED OR USB PORTS AND DID NOT FIND AN ANSWER. I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THEY WERE UNABLE TO HELP AND ONLY ADVICE THAT WAS GIVEN WAS TO CONTACT MY INSURANCE , THEY ALSO ADDED THEY WOULD NOT BE TAKING CARE OF ANY DAMAGES IN THE VEHICLE AND THAT THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS AND ALSO DID NOT KNOW WHY, NOR WERE EVEN INTERESTED IN INVESTIGATING. THE CAR WAS IN COMPLETE PARK MODE, AND OFF OVERNIGHT. NO ONE DESERVES TO TAKE THEIR SIBLINGS TO SCHOOL AND INSTEAD BE WELCOMED BY A MALFUNCTIONING DEFECTIVE 2016 YEAR VEHICLE.
FEELS LIKE THE WHEELS ARE GOING TO FALL OFF I HAVE TAKEN IT TO SEVERAL OTHER MECHANICS AND THEY SAY ITS THROWING CODES FOR ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL ELECTRIC POWER STEERING AND THE ELECTRIC PARKING BREAK BUT 3 DEALERSHIPS SAY THE VEHICLE IS FINE
AC DOES NOT BLOW COLD AIR
BATTERY DIED IN NORMAL WEATHER CONDITION IN AUSTIN TX ON 2/20/17. EVEY ELECTRICAL OPERATION WAS DISABLED. BY JUMP STARTING THE CAR, THE BATTERY WAS TESTED AT AUTO PARTS SHOP AUTOZONE. THE AUSTZONE TECHNICIAN REPORTED THAT THE BATTERY WAS NOT HOLDING THE CHARGE.
BREAKING SYSTEM RECALL NOT PERFORMED BY HONDA DEALERSHIP, EVEN WHEN ASKED AND TALKED ABOUT. ASKED SERVICE MEMBER AND THE GENERAL MANAGER, BOTH TOOK A "DO NOT CARE" APPROACH. I FEEL THIS SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED. THIS IS ROPER HONDA IN JOPLIN, MO.
THERE ARE THREE ISSUES WITH THIS 2016 HONDA CIVIC. HOWEVER ONE OF THESE ISSUES MUST BE ADDRESSED "IMMEDIATELY". WHEN YOU GO TO PARK YOUR CAR,(HAVING IT IN A STATIONARY POSITION) YOU PUSH THE PUSH BUTTON TO TURN IT OFF. MY EMERGENCY BRAKE WOULD NOT ENGAGE PROPERLY RESULTING IN SEVERAL INCIDENTS OF THE CAR 'ROLLING' AWAY AFTER ENGAGING THE E-BRAKE. THIS HAPPENED FOR SOME TIME UNTIL I COULD NOT ENGAGE THE E-BRAKE AT ALL UNLESS CONTINUOUSLY ENGAGING THE BUTTON AND WAITING UP TO 10 MINUTES AND 20+ 'PULLS' OF THE BRAKE BUTTON. IF I WAS ABLE TO, IT WOULD NOT STAY ON FOR GOOD AT ALL TIMES, RESULTING IN THE CAR ROLLING AWAY QUITE OFTEN. THIS WAS EXTREMELY SCARY AND UNSAFE. WHEN HONDA SAID MY VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE 2016 CIVIC SAFETY RECALL REGARDING THE SAME ISSUE, I DECIDED TO FIX IT OUT OF POCKET. THE HONDA CIVIC WAS IN THE DRIVEWAY WITH THE EMERGENCY BRAKE SET WHEN IT WAS PARKED. THE VEHICLE HAS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION. A FEW HOURS LATER THE CAR ALARM WAS GOING OFF AND WHEN I WENT TO LOOK TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON I DISCOVERED THAT THE CAR HAD ROLLED DOWN THE DRIVE AND INTO A TELEPHONE POLE. THE POLICE IN MY JURISDICTION DO NOT TAKE ACCIDENT REPORTS FOR ACCIDENTS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY THEREFORE A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT TAKEN. AFTER THE INCIDENT I FOUND THAT THERE WAS A ACTIVE RECALL INVOLVING THE EMERGENCY BRAKE. AFTER THIS INCIDENT INVOLVING THE WRECK THE CAR WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER WHO CHECKED THE DOWNLOAD AND CONFIRMED THAT THE DOWNLOAD WAS UP TO DATE. THE CAR WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER TWO DAYS LATER TO HAVE THE BRAKE SYSTEM INSPECTED WHICH THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WERE NO CODES FOUND IN THE SYSTEM. THIS WAS DONE AT THE ADVICE OF HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE. HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE CONTACTED ME TODAY AND STATED THAT AT THIS TIME THEY RECOMMEND PROCEEDING WITH AN INSURANCE CLAIM. DRIVING INTO A SMALL TOWN AT APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH SOUNDED LIKE A GUNSHOT WENT OFF INSIDE THE CAR. THE SUNROOF HAD EXPLODED. NO TRAFFIC WAS AROUND. NOTHING HIT THE ROOF.
