The vehicle check engine light flashes and vehicle proceeds to lose power on the freeway. The first time it happened, I was driving on the lane next to the fast lane during commute hours and I could not accelerate fast enough to reach the slow lane and pull over to the side. Luckily, a nice person slowed down enough for me to change lane. My husband took the car to a Honda service center and they found nothing wrong with. Then it happened 3 more times on the freeway and we took it back to the dealer. They performed some maintenance and returned the car back to us. Then it happened again and we took it back for service. Again they tried to do some repair and returned the car to us. After about a week, it happened again. As I was getting on the freeway with my children in the car, engine light starts flashing and I cannot accelerate. Each time we’ve had to pull over, shut the engine off, wait for a bit and start the engine again to get it going. At this point we are afraid to get on the freeway and we stay on the slow lane as much as possible. We’ve taken the car back to the shop for the same problem 4 times. We are still waiting for the shop to fix it.
