Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)I was coming to a stop at a curb and was braking to reduce speed and stop. With my foot in the brake the car began accelerating and lunged forward. I quickly pulled my foot off the brake and pressed the brake again and this time it stopped. This is the second time this has happened in this car. This behavior is extremely unsafe and makes me reluctant to drive the car again. Had someone or something been in my direct path I would have certainly hit it. I have not been able to reproduce the issue and it has not been inspected by a mechanic at this point. There were no warning lights, sensors, or sounds.
