Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)As of 11/22/2024, Odometer reading little over 4k miles. Bought it brand new from Honda dealership in Pennsylvania. Issue: Right before coming to a complete stop i.e while down shifting 20mph to 6 - 8 miles per hour, I am feeling a sudden jolt while breaks applied. It is unknown to me weather this is a engine or transmission issue but this same issue many Honda HR-V owners have noticed and reported on social media. This issue is causing improper front side movement of the vehicle and causing improper break application when attempting to stop the car. This is causing a confusion and doubts while operating my car, making me feel unsafe to operate this car is a dense traffic situations. I am going to request as many car owners as possible to report this issue as they are facing the same issue but yet to report it to NHTSA. P.S Honda dealerships are charging $299 diagnostic fees which is not right. Authorities must address this issue with Honda with a mass recall to ensure people's safety. Thanks.
