Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)Adaptive cruise control unexpectedly disengages. This has happened dozens of times, consistently every time I use the adaptive cruise control on the highway. My speed drops from the set speed (for example, 75 mph) down to 55 or 60 mph, at which point I realize it’s not going to come back on. This is extremely dangerous on the highway, and puts me at risk of being rear-ended by vehicles traveling at high speed.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
