Auto Idle Stop not working. By default it should be on and driver must actively turn it off. Mine does not/not come on. This problem appears different from the numerous other problems reported with the Auto Idle Stop but it still is a problem and indicates the system may have a number of related defects and that its may be just be a metter of time until I experience other more serious problems.

With automatic high beam active, the lights frequently switch to high beam with oncoming traffic, potentially blinding the drivers.
I took my vehicle to the Honda dealership to have a safety recall repaired. Following the repair, the alarm started intermittently going off. Before the repair, the vehicle was running well. I did not know what the alarm sounded like before the recall repair. After they checked the vehicle, I was hit with a $1500 repair bill to replace the Keyless Control Unit. This part is what is causing the issue. Now I am left with no recourse. I called Honda corporate, and they told me that they couldn't help me. I am very disappointed because I am a long-time Honda owner and apprantly the quality is not there anymore.

Frank Fletceher would not safety recall or warranty inspect my honda bc I didn't buy from them. I need a PGM-FI idle stop sw update & tailgate wire harness inspection.
Was stopped at a traffic light and idle-stop had engaged. Released brake and vehicle failed to restart. Multiple attempts to restart before it actually started. Many dash indicators were lit, but I was too frantic to notice which. Was in heavy traffic and it was very unsettling. Only time this has happened, but I feel like it will repeat. Have not been to dealer, but I will.
On 08/23/23 multiple safety warning lights activated on my dashboard. I took my vehicle to my Honda Dealer and after two days it was returned and I was told that it was repaired. The next day while driving the exact same thing occurred and I noticed that the vehicle was not accelerating normally and the brake warning light activated although there were no cars or objects in front of me. I returned to the dealership who kept my vehicle for 5 days returning it to me and telling me that they could not duplicate the error. I drove my car approximately ten miles from the dealership and all of the warning lights again activated and the vehicle was not accelerating as it had prior to this problem. I returned to the dealership and they now have the vehicle and explained that they will contact the Honda Help line.
Traveling at 50mph when warning lights started, AWD malfunction, auto idle malfunction, gear shift malfunction, then warning says shift to N and power shut down, coasted to a stop. Once stopped smoke coming from engine, unable to open hood (to hot). Within 2 min flames were coming around hood fire extinguishers not helpful to stop flames. Fire department arrived within 15 min to extinguish.
Wireless phone charger has never worked. There is no fix forthcoming from Honda.
Wireless cell phone charger doesn’t work. Light just blinks and the phone never charges.
The wireless charging pad does not work properly. I’ve tested with 3 different Apple iPhones and they will start to charge for a few seconds, then it will stop changing. Sometimes it will resume charging for a few seconds and then stop again. I’ve seen videos online of others who are experiencing the same issue with both 2021 and 2022 Honda vehicles (issue not exclusive to the Ridgeline).
1.Auto Highbeam lighting continuously flashes when sees reflection from street signs which confuses and blind coming drivers 2. Phone wireless charger not working properly, reported to honda several times. ALL this issues are since purchased.
Factory wireless charger. Available for inspection upon request. Unsafe conditions created when wireless charging failed during a drive causing driver to be distracted by misbehaving equipment. Trying to readjust phone was distracting. Problem reproduced at dealer. Dealer declined to repair/replace equipment. Dealer advised iPhone 12 mini silicone case was interfering with the charging. Removed case, but bare phone did not resolve the issue. Replaced phone with brand new iPhone 13. New phone exhibits same behavior. Charger charges for a few seconds, then stops and led indicator blinks. Then charges for a few seconds, and fails again. iPhone started to get real hot so I turned off the wireless charger.
The wireless charging pad does not work, no matter what position the phone is. I have tried with the case off, so that's not the issue. And I've also tried multiple phones. It pretends to power on and start charging but then it stops in less than a minute, even WITHOUT driving the car....so the phone has no chance to move.
