HONDA WAS AIRBOURNE AND HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE TRAVELING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. UPON IMPACT, NEITHER AIRBAG DEPLOYED. CONSUMER WAS SEVERELY INJURED WITH CONTRITION TO THE LEFT LUNGS/ RUPTURED SPLEEN, AND BROKE TOP COLLAR BONE AND TWO RIBS. *AK

CONSUMER RECIEVED RECALL NOTICE 00V-016 WHICH STATES; WHEN THE CONVERTIBLE TOP IS DOWN AND THE SEAT IS PUSHED ALL THE WAY BACK THE SEAT BELT MAY NOT RETRACT PROPERLY RESULTING IN SLACK IN THE BELTS, THE LETTER STATED THAT A SECOND NOTICE WOULD BE SENT WHEN THE INPROVEMENT PART WAS AVAILABLE BUT CONSUMER NEVER RECIEVED A SECOND NOTICE.
