IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO ACCELERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE THROTTLE SENSOR WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THERE WAS A MANUFACTURER'S RECALL FOR THE THROTTLE SENSOR HOWEVER, THE CONTACT'S VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE MANUFACTURER'S RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
