Upon a dealer's recommendation they have rotated, aligned, balanced and changed the tires and repaired the rear rims, but they did not help. (Just cost us money). I contacted Hyundai and they suggested that I go to another dealer, which I did. They said it was a known issue and the there is nothing they can do about it. I can't say much about the safety aspect, but I'm sure it's not good when a car vibrates and no on seems to know why ...
