Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)DRIVER LOST COMPLETE CONTROL TODAY IN A PARKING LOT. THE BRAKES STEERING AND ENGINE SHUT DOWN PREVENTING ANY CONTROL BY THE DRIVER, THE CAR STOPPED ROLLED AND STOPPED ON ITS OWN. LUCKILY WAS IN A PARKING LOT AND WAS INVOLVED IN ANY ACCIDENT.
STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AND COULD NOT UNLOCK WITH KEY NOR COULD DEALER REPAIR SHOP. A DEALER REPAIR PERSON SAID IT WAS NOT UNUSUAL. DEALER WILL HAVE TO BREAK THE LOCK AND REINSTALL AT A COST OF $1,500+. THE CAR ONLY HAS 55,000+MILES, AND THERE ARE A NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS ISSUED OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS TO NHTSA. ONE PERSON CITED THAT THE MANUFACTURE OF THE "PART" TOLD NISSAN TO "RECALL" AND REPLACE THE PART. INIFINITY IS A PART OF NISSAN, BUT I HAVE YET TO FIND A "RECALL" ISSUED FOR THAT REASON BY NISSAN NOR ITS SUBSIUARY - INFINITI.
