Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)I was returning from work when I briefly fell asleep, causing my vehicle to drift to the curb and resulting in damage to the right-hand side wheels. This incident was caused by a failure of the Lane Departure Warning and Lane Assist systems, which were not functioning at the time. Had these safety features been operational, a potential accident could have been prevented. I have reported this issue to Jaguar Corporate, but it has been approximately one month, and I have not received a satisfactory response. I am concerned that safety concerns regarding this vehicle are not being adequately addressed. There were no warning lights displayed prior to the incident. I have scheduled a service appointment with the dealership for March 4th to assess the structural integrity of the vehicle and will obtain further details after their inspection. I respectfully request that the NHTSA investigate or escalate this matter to Jaguar Corporate for urgent attention, as I am increasingly concerned about the safety and security of driving this vehicle.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
