THIS IS A REAL SAFETY CONCERN AND MANY JAGUAR XK VEHICLES 2007-2011 HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM AND HAVE BEEN FORCED TO PAY $1,200 - $1,500 FOR THE DEFECT TO BE REPAIRED. MANY VEHICLES ARE OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY PERIOD. THE SUDDEN RUSH OF WATER FROM THE DASH IS LIKELY TO CAUSE A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. *TR

CONSUMER STATES THAT THE REFLECTION OF THE DASHBOARD ON THE WINDSHIELD NEARLY CAUSED HER TO RUN OVER 2 PEOPLE . *KB THE CONSUMER STATED THE COMBINATION OF THE SUN REFLECTING ONTO THE LIGHT COLORED DASHBOARD CREATED A SHADOW EFFECT ON THE WINDSHIELD FIVE INCHES HIGH HORIZONTALLY AND GRADUATING ON EACH END OF THE WINDSHIELD VERTICALLY SEVEN INCHES, WHICH CAUSED A BLIND SPOT OVER THE WINDSHIELD.
