MY REAR CORNER BRAKE LIGHTS CONSTANTLY HAVE ISSUES EITHER IN THE TAILLIGHT ASSEMBLY OR THE BULB INSTALLATION CONNECTION -- I AM STILL NOT SURE WHERE THE ISSUE IS REALLY. I WILL REPLACE THE BULB AND IN 3 MONTHS OR SO MY BRAKE LIGHT IS OUT ON ONE SIDE THEN A SHORT TIME LATER THE OTHER SIDE. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MANY JEEPS I SEE WITH AT LEAST ONE BRAKE LIGHT BEING OUT. ALSO IF MY LIGHTS ARE ON, THEN BOTH REAR BRAKE LIGHTS GO OUT. IF I TURN THE LIGHTS OFF, MAYBE ONLY ONE BRAKE LIGHT WILL NOT WORK. I'VE HAD SEVERAL PEOPLE TELL ME WHEN THEY ARE BEHIND ME THAT I HAVE NO BRAKE LIGHTS, WHICH MEANS IF THEY WERE NOT PAYING ATTENTION THEY WOULD HAVE HIT ME! AND AS WE ALL KNOW, PAYING ATTENTION IS A HUGE ISSUE TODAY WITH SO MANY CELL PHONE DISTRACTIONS. I AM SHOCKED THERE IS NOT A RECALL ON THE GRAND CHEROKEE THAT I CAN FIND ON MY ORIGINAL FACTORY TAIL LIGHTS.
THE DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT IN MY 2000 JEEP LAREDO IS BROKEN. WHERE THE SEAT CONNECTS TO THE SLIDER IT IS RIPPED LIKE A PIECE OF PAPER. *TR
2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE FRONT DRIVERS SEAT MOUNTING BRACKET IS BROKEN. THE MOUNTING BRACKETS ARE APPARENTLY A DEFECTIVE DESIGN. THIS IS A SAFETY RISK, AS THE SEAT BELTS ARE ANCHORED BY THE SEAT. *CN
TODAY, THE MOUNTING RAILS FOR THE DRIVERS SEAT HAVE BROKEN (THE RIVETS PULLED THROUGH THE CHEAP METAL RAILS). SEAT IS SECURED AT TWO POINTS NOW INSTEAD OF 4, AND SWAYING AND CLICKING A LOT. BEGAN WITH CLICKING AND SQUEAKING ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO BUT COULDN'T SEE ANYTHING WRONG
2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE FRAME UNDERNEATH MY DRIVER'S SEAT HAS CRACKED AND BROKEN CAUSING THE SEAT TO BE LOOSE AND TILTED. THE SEAT'S FRAME BENDS OVER TIME AND EVENTUALLY BEGAN TO TILT MORE AND GET MORE LOSE AS THE FRAME BENT EACH TIME I SAT DOWN. EVENTUALLY THE FRAME COMPLETELY BROKE, WHICH RESULTS IN MY DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT SEAT TO BE VERY 'WOBBLY,' THE JEEP DEALERSHIP QUOTED THIS AT A $700 FIX, JUST BECAUSE THEY USED A LIGHTER, CHEAPER FRAME TO REDUCE VEHICLE WEIGHT. *CN
AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT KEEPS GOING ON IN MY 2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 JEEP LAREDO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT FRACTURED AT THE FRAME MAKING DRIVING CONDITIONS UNSAFE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. AFTER DIAGNOSIS, THEY ADVISED HIM THAT THE TRACK TO THE SEAT FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. APPROXIMATELY 2 YEARS LATER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 130,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 165,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. *TR
THE DRIVER SEAT ON MY GRAND JEEP CHEROKEE 2000 JUST BROKE. *TR
THE DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT OF MY 2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO BECAME DISLODGED FROM THE BRACKETS WHILE I WAS DRIVING. THIS CAUSED ME TO LOOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND NEARLY CRASH INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. I INSPECTED THE VEHICLE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND DISCOVERED THAT THE RAILS ON THE BRACKETS HAD TORN APART. THESE SHOULD BE MADE OUT OF SOME TYPE OF DURABLE METAL BUT THEY BRACKETS ARE VERY POORLY CONSTRUCTED AND THE METAL IS NOT THICK ENOUGH TO HANDLE THE WEAR AND TEAR OF REGULAR USE. I LOOKED ON THE INTERNET FOR REPLACEMENT BRACKETS BUT, INSTEAD OF FINDING PARTS, I FOUND A SERIES OF COMPLAINTS BY DRIVERS WHO EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THEIR JEEP. THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM THAT WAS CORRECTED IN THE NEWER JEEPS BUT IS STILL AN ISSUE FOR ANYONE WITH JEEP MODEL PURCHASED FROM 1998-2004. *TR
2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO - DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT HAS BROKEN IN 4 PLACES...2 BOLTS IN FRONT HAVE WORN THROUGH THE TRACK AND 2 REAR BRACKETS HAVE SIMPLY SNAPPED. THE SEAT IS NOW COMPLETELY LOOSE. THE INCIDENT APPEARS TO HAVE HAPPENED OVER TIME WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE, BUT I RECENTLY FELT A SNAP AND MY ENTIRE SEAT WAS DISPLACED...WHILE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC ON A STATE HIGHWAY. THIS IS POOR ENGINEERING, POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP, AND ENTIRELY UNSAFE.*TR
ENGINE STARTED STALLING WITHOUT ANY WARNING WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, FIRST OCCURRENCE WAS AT ABOUT 35MPH. LOST POWER STEERING, BRAKES ON A SHARP CURVE! DEALER FOUND ECM (ENGINE CONTROL MODULE OR COMPUTER BAD). THAT HAPPENED THE FIRST TIME IN 2010. IT HAS HAPPENED AGAIN IN 6/2013 AND NOW AGAIN IN 3/2014 EXCEPT THE ONE OF THE LAST TWO TIMES THE CAR JERKED AND WOULDN'T ACCELERATE AS WE STARTED TO PASS SOMEONE ON A 2-LANE ROAD. THE JEEP JERKED, IMMEDIATELY STARTED SLOWING AND THEN THE ENGINE DIED CAUSING LOSS OF POWERSTEERING AND POWER BRAKES AND ALMOST BEING HIT FROM BEHIND AS WE WERE NOT QUITE CLEAR OF THE CAR WE WERE PASSING AND HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO SLOW AND MOVE BACK INTO LINE BEHIND THE SLOWER CAR AHEAD OF US, AS THE ENGINE DIED AND TWO OTHER CARS WERE PASSING THE SLOWER CAR FROM BEHIND US ALMOST RAN INTO US!!! THEN WE GOT THE CAR STARTED, DROVE ABOUT ANOTHER 3 MILES TO A BUSINESS, AS WE WERE ON A RURAL ROAD AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. THE CAR WOULD DIE (TWICE MORE) AND NOT GO OVER 59 MPH OR 2600 ENGINE RPM. THE DEALER AND OUR SHOP MANAGER SAYS "THIS IS A HABITUAL PROBLEM WITH A LOT OF CHRYSLER PRODUCTS...THEY HAVE POORLY MADE ENGINE CONTROL MODULES, THE WORST IN THE AUTO INDUSTRY"! THE SHOP MANAGER SAYS "IT'S A REAL SAFETY ISSUE THAT ISN'T BEING ADDRESSED ANYWHERE!" *TR
I OWN A 2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. MY WIFE WAS PICKING UP MY KIDS, WHEN THE CAR BEGAN TO SHAKE AND THEN OVERHEATED. I TOOK MY CAR THE MECHANIC, WHO TOLD ME THAT THE RADIATOR FAN WAS DEFECTIVE AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. HE TOLD ME THAT THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE GRAND CHEROKEE. I LOOKED AT YOUR WEBSITE, AND DISCOVERED THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THIS PART, BUT ONLY FOR CERTAIN VIN NUMBERS. I PAID $735 DOLLARS TO REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE PART, AND CHRYSLER/JEEP SAID THEY WILL NOT REIMBURSE ME BECAUSE OF MY VIN NUMBER. THEY TOLD ME TO CONTACT THE NHTSA TO FIND OUT WHY MY JEEP WASN'T COVERED, SINCE THEY HAD NO OTHER INFORMATION FOR ME. I KNOW THAT THE GRAND CHEROKEE FROM 1999 TO 2004 HAS THE SAME EXACT PARTS AND BODY AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY MY JEEP ISN'T COVERED UNDER THE RECALL WHEN THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED AND SHUT OFF. WHEN THE VEHICLE SHUTS OFF, IT BECOMES DIFFICULT TO RESTART IT. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DIAGNOSE BY THE DEALER OR A LOCAL MECHANIC. THE CONTACT IS CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY RISK SINCE HER LIFE IS IN JEOPARDY WHILE DRIVING IF A CRASH OCCURRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.

FRONT DRIVER SEAT SNAPPED ALL OF A SUDDEN AND MADE SQUEAKING NOISES AND IS LIKE SITTING IN A ROCKING CHAIR. WENT TO SEE IF JUST A SCREW WAS LOOSE OR HAD FALLEN OUT BUT THE ENTIRE METAL FRAME HAD SNAPPED. IT COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS AND IM LUCKY I WAS NOT DRIVING IN TRAFFIC WHEN THIS OCCURRED. *TR
OWNED THIS JEEP SINCE I PURCHASED IT NEW BACK IN 2000. A FEW MONTHS AGO WHILE I WAS DRIVING, I LEANED MY BODY TOWARDS THE DRIVES SIDE MIRROR TO LOOK AT IT CLOSELY AND SUDDENLY THE RAIL ON MY SEAT SNAPPED! MY INITIAL REACTION WAS TO CATCH MY FALL BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE ONLY THING I WAS HANGING ONTO WAS MY STEERING WHEEL. BAD MISTAKE, BUT IT WAS MORE OF A SUDDEN REACTION THAN AN EDUCATED DECISION. I SWERVED WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE NOT KNOWING WHAT HAD HAPPENED. THANKFULLY, IT OCCURRED AT NIGHT AND NOBODY WAS USING ANY OF THE LANES NEXT TO ME ON THE 4 LANE HIGHWAY. AFTER I PULLED OVER TO INSPECT WHAT HAD OCCURRED, I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE I HAD SNAPPED THE SEAT RAIL COMPLETELY! WEIGHING IN AT 170LBS, I DON'T CONSIDER MYSELF TO BE OVERWEIGHT EITHER. AFTER LOOKING AROUND FOR A NEW SEAT RAIL, I DISCOVERED THAT THERE ARE MANY COMPLAINTS WITH THE SAME YEAR VEHICLE. DEFIANTLY SHOULD BE A RECALL WITH THE AMOUNT OF THE SAME, DANGEROUS PROBLEM... *TR

I HAVE A 2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE.. I HAVE THE SAME AS ALL OTHER 2000 JGC OWNERS ARE HAVING. BEEN USING COOLANT EVERY FEW WEEKS NEEDS TO BE TOPPED OFF.. FAN WAS REPLACE DUE TO RECALL. HAD TO REPLACE FAN CONTROL UNDER HEADLIGHT. LAST YEAR WAS OVERHEATING. REPLACED WATER PUMP/ THERMOSTAT. OVERHEATING AGAIN. JUST REPLACED THERMOSTAT TODAY. DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN SHIFTING HARD FOR THE PAST YEAR AND A HALF. I REPLACED PARTS IN TRANSMISSION AS SUGGESTED BY DEALER. BUT IT DID NOT FIX PROBLEM..REPLACED RADIATOR AROUND MAY OF 09 STILL HAVING COOLING PROBLEMS. I REPLACED SO MANY SENSORS THAT HAVE FAILED THAT I CANT REMEMBER THEM ALL. I STILL HAVE 1 MORE YEAR OF PAYMENTS ON THIS VEHICLE.. ITS HARD TO MAKE PAYMENTS WHEN I HAVE BEEN BUYING SO MANY PARTS TO TRY TO KEEP THIS CAR RUNNING. BAD DOOR SEALS, THEY ARE TOO SMALL (SHORT OR SHRINKING) IT LETS WATER COME IN BACK PASSENGER AREA. ALWAYS SMELLS MUSTY INSIDE.. BLACK MOLD IN THE RAINY SEASON. TAILLIGHT BRAKE LIGHT ON ONE ONLY WORKS PART TIME. REPLACED 3 DOOR LATCHES. INCLUDING ONE ON REAR HATCH. *TR

AT FIRST I THOUGHT THIS WAS A UNIQUE PROBLEM, BUT THE MORE I RESEARCHED ONLINE, I FOUND DISCUSSION FORUMS WITH THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I AM NOW SCARED TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE BECAUSE OTHER OWNERS OF 2000 GRAND CHEROKEES HAVE SAID THAT THEIR SEATS HAVE FULLY BROKEN OFF WHILE DRIVING AND HAVE ENDED UP IN THE BACK SEAT ALMOST CAUSING A FATAL ACCIDENT. THERE ARE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS AND THE COST OF REPAIR IS OUTRAGEOUS, THE PART IS SEMI REASONABLE, BUT THE LABOR AND LOCATION MAKES IT EXTREMELY COSTLY. THIS IS A DANGER IN TERMS OF VISIBILITY AND I BELIEVE CHRYSLER SHOULD FIX THE PROBLEM. SEVERAL JEEP OWNERS ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS, SO IT APPEARS TO BE A MANUFACTURES DEFECT. *TR

MY JEEP ONLY HAVE 68,000 MILE, NOW ALL MY LIGHT ARE ON BECAUSE OF THIS FAN RECALL. I BELIVE IT OVER HEATED AND HAS CAUSED THIS TO HAPPIN, I LIVE 5-MIN FROM MY JOB. I HAVE A 2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. RECENTLY THE FRONT DRIVERS SEAT FRAME BROKE AT 2 POINTS. I ENDED UP LOSING CONTROL AS I WAS ROCKED INTO THE BACK SEAT AS I WAS GOING AROUND A CURVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING AT A RATE OF SPEED THAT EXCEEDS 60 MPH AND THE BRAKES WERE DEPRESSED, THE VEHICLE WOULD LOSE POWER OR STALL. WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLED, THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WOULD ILLUMINATE AND ALL OF THE COMPONENTS ON THE DASHBOARD WOULD FAIL. THE CONTACT WOULD BECOME TRAPPED INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE BECAUSE THE POWER DOOR LOCKS AND WINDOWS WOULD BECOME INOPERABLE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 119,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 121,000.

I TOO BROUGHT A JEEP CHEROKEE FROM A USED DEALERSHIP IN 2008, IT IS A 2000 4L 6I ALSO, SAME ISSUES, THE WEEK AFTER I BROUGHT THE CAR THE ENGINE BLEW, THE DEALER WOULD NOT COVER IT BECAUSE THEY SENT IT TO THEIR MECHANIC SHOP AND OF COURSE THE MECHANIC SHOP SAID IT WASN'T THE DEALERS FAULT, THEY TOLD ME THAT A ROCK HIT THE FAN AND PUT A SMALL HOLE IN THE ENGINE... I SPENT CLOSE TO 1200 GETTING THE ENGINE REBUILT. CAR RAN FOR A LITTLE WHILE THEN THE CHECK COOLANT LIGHT KEPT COMING ON, I HAD TO KEEP A BOTTLE OF COOLANT IN MY CAR AND THE COOLANT WOULD RUN OUT EVERY 2-3 WEEKS. THEN IN OCT THE ENGINE BLEW AGAIN, MY CAR IS CURRENTLY PARKED UNTIL I CAN FIND A LOW MILEAGE ENGINE TO REPLACE THE OLD ONE. I DO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A FLAW IN THE DESIGN. MEANWHILE I AM STILL PAYING A CAR PAYMENT AND HAVING TO WORK TO GET MONEY TO FIX MY CAR...UGHHHH. *TR

MY 2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE FRONT DRIVER SEAT TRACK HAS BROKE AND BEEN REPAIRED AND BROKE 3 TIMES NOW IN A YEAR. IT STARTED OUT AS LITTLE WOBBLE LIKE BOLT LOOSE, WHICH IS WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS. MY MECHANIC PULLED THE SEAT OUT AND FOUND THE CRACK AND BROKEN METAL. TOOK IT TO AND CERTIFIED WELDER AND HAD IT WELDED. HE TOLD MY THE METAL WAS CHEAP AND THAT HE HAS WELDED 3 OTHERS WITH THE SAME ISSUE. THE LAST TIME HE WELDED IT FOR ME HE ADDED SOME METAL WHICH LASTED 6 MONTHS BEFORE BREAKING IN ANOTHER SPOT. NOW I JUST HAVE THE BACK WEDGED UP WITH BLOCK OF WOOD AND HAVE NO ADJUSTMENT IN MY SEAT ANYMORE. TALKED TO DEALER AFTER FIRST BREAK AND WAS TOLD THEY NEW OF SOME PROBLEM BUT WASN'T COVERED UNDER WARRANTIES OR NO RECALLS. NEW REPLACEMENT TRACK ARE EXPENSIVE AND MADE THE SAME AS ORIGINAL, WHICH HAS BEEN KNOWN TO BREAK TOO. SOUNDS LIKE ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE HAVING THESE ISSUES FROM WHAT I HAVE FOUND ON-LINE. PLEASE RECALL THIS ISSUE FOR EVERYONE SAFETY, AND BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED. *TR

THE RADIATOR FAN BLADES ON MY 2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE FRACTURED AND SEPARATED WHILE THE MOTOR WAS RUNNING. THIS IS CONSISTENT WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 06V199000 AND CORRESPONDING DAIMLERCHRYSLER RECALL NO. F25, HOWEVER, THIS RECALL WAS ONLY FOR VEHICLES BUILT FROM JANUARY 31, 2000 THROUGH JUNE 12, 2000. MY JEEP WAS CONSTRUCTED IN DECEMBER OF 1999 SO MY FAN IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RECALL. I'D LIKE CLARIFICATION ON WHY MODEL YEAR 2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE'S THAT WERE BUILT IN DECEMBER OF 1999 ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL EVEN THOUGHT THE ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE RECALLED ITEM AND CORRESPONDING FRACTURE AND SEPARATION OF THE RADIATOR FAN ARE THE SAME. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHERE THE BRAKE LIGHTS WERE REPLACED HOWEVER, THE CONTACT WAS STILL EXPERIENCING THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 127,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 128,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE VEHICLE HAS GOODYEAR EAGLE R-SA TIRES, SIZE 255/45/R20. THE VEHICLE WAS IN A STATIONARY POSITION WHEN THE CONTACT OBSERVED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER TIRES EXHIBITED SEVERE TREAD SEPARATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT TIRE FACILITY FOR INSPECTION. THE TIRES HAVE NOT BEEN REPLACED AT THIS TIME. THE CONTACT HAD CONCERNS OF THE SAFETY RISK INVOLVED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 16,536.
JEEP 2000 GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO INLINE 6CYL I RECENTLY EXPERIENCED LOW COOLANT AND OIL PRESSURE PROBLEMS. I HAD THE WATER PUMP REPLACED, THE OIL SENSOR SWITCH REPLACED, AND THE OIL PUMP REPLACED. THE REPAIRS WERE DONE INDIVIDUALLY IN THAT ORDER. I AM STILL EXPERIENCING LOW COOLANT ALTHOUGH THE CAR DOES NOT SEEM TO OVERHEAT. I RECENTLY HAD A PRESSURE TEST AND THERE WERE NO LEAKS. WHEN THE CAR IS STARTED IN THE MORNING I HAVE THE PROPER OIL PRESSURE. AS SOON AS THE CAR WARMS UP THE OIL PRESSURE FLUCTUATES AND EVENTUALLY ACTIVATES THE ALERT INDICATOR (BELL SOUND). THE ENGINE SOUNDS FINE AND THERE ARE NO PERFORMANCE PROBLEMS. I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK TO THE SERVICE STATION THAT DID THE REPAIRS. THE MECHANIC SUGGESTED THAT I USE A HEAVIER OIL FOR THE PRESSURE PROBLEM. I WILL LET YOU KNOW THE RESULTS. THIS MAY BE THE LAST ATTEMPT BEFORE AN ENGINE OVERHAUL. JEEP SHOULD HAVE A RECALL FOR THESE PROBLEMS. *TR
THIS IS A COMPLAINT REGARDING MY 2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LIMITED. MY HUSBAND NOTICED A WOBBLE IN THE FRONT DRIVERS SEAT AND WITHIN 2 DAYS (BEFORE HE COULD TAKE IT IN) THE SEAT BECAME UNATTACHED JUST AS HE WAS DRIVING UP A STEEP AND CURVY HILL. HE IS AROUND 270 POUNDS, WELL BELOW THE 400 POUND LIMIT. LUCKILY HE WAS GOING VERY SLOW AS IT IS A STEEP HILL THROUGH THE NEIGHBORHOOD. HE LANDED IN THE LAP OF MY 6-YEAR OLD DAUGHTER, CRUSHING HER LEGS AGAINST HER BOOSTER SEAT, WHICH CAUSE EXTENSIVE BRUISING. WHILE SHE WAS NOT SERIOUSLY OR PERMANENTLY HURT - THIS COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH WORSE OR FATAL IF IT HAPPENED UNDER DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES. I HAVE SPOKEN WITH THE DEALER AND THEY SAID IT HAS NOT BEEN RECALLED. I THEN LOOKED ONLINE AND WAS ASTOUNDED BY THE NUMBER OF OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED WITH CHRYSLER BEFORE MORE PEOPLE GET INJURED OR FATALITIES OCCUR. *TR
