THE CONTACT THEN CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE LEFT WRIST, SHOULDER, KNEE AND ANKLE AND FACE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED OF THE INCIDENT. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED TO A SALVAGE CENTER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.

THE DEALER ALSO STATED THAT THE LIGHT INDICATED THAT THE BRAKING SYSTEM WOULD NOT FUNCTION DUE TO THE SPEED SENSOR READING INACCURATELY. IN ADDITION, THE DEALER STATED THAT IF THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN DURING RAINY WEATHER, IT COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS. THE ANTI LOCK BRAKING SENSOR WAS REPLACED. AFTER THE REPAIRS, THE SAME FAILURE OCCURRED ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SPEED SENSOR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE DUE TO THE FAULTY SPEED SENSORS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
