SAME ISSUE WITH MY 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE THE TIPM NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. PURCHASED USED ONLY 25K MILES TWO MONTHS LATER CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WOULD NOT GO AWAY, STARTED TO STOP THEN HAD TROUBLE CRANKING THEN WOULD NOT START. TOOK TO LOCAL DEALERSHIP OVER A MONTH AGO, DEALERSHIP STILL HAS MY VEHICLE AND IM WITHOUT A CAR. EXTENDED WARRANTY WILL NO LONGER PAY FOR MY RENTAL. MY HOUSE IS 30 MINS AWAY FROM MY JOB AND I HAVE TWO SMALL CHILDREN. CHRYSLER COULD ONLY "EXPEDITE" THE TIPM TO THE DEALERSHIP....MEANWHILE I'M CARLESS UNTIL WHO KNOWS WHEN. EACH WEEK THE DEALERSHIP GIVES ME A DIFFERENT STORY ON WHEN THE PART WILL BE IN. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT UPON INSPECTION, THE STARTER WOULD NOT ENGAGE WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED THAT WHEN THE FUEL TANK WAS BELOW HALF FULL, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE STARTER AND THE AUXILIARY STARTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 18,000.
MY JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE OVERLAND 4X4 2011 IS EXPERIENCING STARTING PROBLEMS. THE YARK JEEP DEALER IN TOLEDO OHIO DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO BE THE TOTAL INTEGRATED POWER MODULE OR TIPM ON SEPTEMBER 4, 2013. I HAD NOT DRIVEN THE CAR FOR 5 DAYS DUE TO A FEAR OF BEING IN A STRANGE PLACE AND NOT BEING ABLE TO GET THE CAR STARTED. THE YARK DEALERSHIP, ON ADVICE OF CHRYSLER, PERFORMED A SOFTWARE UPDATE, WHICH SEEMED TO WORK FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AT THE DEALERSHIP. THEN IT [CONSTANT STARTER CRANKING, WHICH THE DEALERSHIP SAID WAS BECAUSE THE TIPM WAS NOT SENDING ANY POWER TO THE FUEL PUMP] STARTED AGAIN AT THE DEALERSHIP. NOW, I AM BEING TOLD, BY THE YARK DEALERSHIP, THAT THERE IS A 2000 PART BACKLOG ON THE TIPM AND THAT THE PART-DISTRIBUTOR RE-STOCKING DATE HAS MOVED FROM 9/9/2013 TO 9/23/2013. IF THE DELIVERY DATE HOLDS I WILL BE WITHOUT MY VEHICLE FOR ABOUT THREE WEEKS. INTERNET RESEARCH (HTTP://TOWNHALL-TALK.EDMUNDS.COM/DIRECT/VIEW/.F0F8B2B/1112) REVEALS MANY PEOPLE THAT THE SAME PROBLEM AND CHRYSLER WILL NOT PAY FOR A RENTAL CAR UNLESS THE TIPM IS TOTALLY NON-FUNCTIONAL WHICH I FEEL IS UNACCEPTABLE.
INCIDENT ON 8/29/13 CAR STALLED TO START- TOOK CAR TO DEALER ON 8/30/13 AND THEY DIAGNOSED IT TO BE THE TIPM. PART WAS ORDERED BUT THE DEALER DOES NOT KNOW WHEN IT IS COMING IN AND IT IS ON NATIONAL BACKORDER. THIS TIPM CAUSES THE CAR NOT TO START. IT TOOK ME ABOUT 5 TRIES TO START MY CAR- THEN FINALLY IT STARTED. THE CAR BASICALLY STARTS WHEN IT WANTS TO. CALLED CORPORATE 9/4 AND SPOKE WITH ELLA COMPLAINING ON THE ISSUE. SHE THEN CALLED THE DEALER AND CONFIRMED THAT PART HAS BEEN ORDERED BUT DOES NOT KNOW AN ARRIVAL DATE. SHE SAID THEY WILL EMAIL MONTHLY ON THE STATUS OF MY PART. I THEN SAID "MONTHLY". SHE REPLIED YES WE DON'T KNOW WHEN THE PART WILL BE IN. I TOLD HER I AM GETTING VERY AGITATED AND THAT I CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY A CAR NOTE ON TOP OF A RENTAL. I ASKED HER WHAT DO THEY DO IN A SITUATION WHEN A CAR CANNOT BE FIXED???? DO YOU REFUND $$ GIVE A NEW CAR.... SHE COULD NOT ANSWER (BASICALLY SAYING NO). I TOLD HER MY RENTAL WILL BE UP ON SATURDAY AND I WANT A NEW ONE ON THEIR EXPENSE BECAUSE THEIR SHOULD BE NO REASON FOR THE DEALER NOT HAVING THIS PART OR KNOWING WHEN IT WILL BE IN. SHE ADVISED ME TO CALL BACK ON SATURDAY REGARDING THE RENTAL. SOME CARS AT MY DEALER HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS PART FOR MONTH. SHE STATED THAT SHE WILL ESCALATE ME FILE WITH SPECIAL TRACKING. IT SEEMS LIKE CHRYSLER IS TELLING ALL VEHICLE OWNERS THIS. *JB

THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V154000 (SERVICE BRAKES, SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC), NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V391000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) AND NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V530000 (FUEL PROPULSION SYSTEM). HOWEVER, THE PARTS NEEDED WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE DEALER DID NOT PROVIDE A SPECIFIC DATE WHEN THE PARTS WOULD BECOME AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND COULD NOT PROVIDE AN ESTIMATED DATE FOR WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD RECEIVE THE RECALL REPAIRS. THE CONTACT WAS NOT EXPERIENCING A FAILURE.
MY 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE FINALLY STOPPED ON SEPTEMBER 2, 2013. I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO THE NEAREST JEEP DEALERSHIP. AFTER THREE WEEKS OF IT NOT WANTING TO START AND LEAVING ME STRANDED SEVERAL TIMES I WAS FORCED TO BUY A NEW BATTERY ONLY FOR IT TO DO THE SAME THING. TODAY IT WAS DIAGNOSED AS HAVING A BAD TIPM. BUT THAT'S NOT THE BAD PART, A TIPM IS $1200.00 AND IT IS ON BACK ORDER INDEFINITELY! LOOKED IT UP ONLINE TODAY AND FOUND HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE WAITING FOR THE SAME TIPM PART. THIS ITEM SHOULD BE RECALLED BY JEEP AND REPAIRED FOR NO CHARGE SINCE IT ALSO CONTROLS THE AIRBAGS. JEEP NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY. IN THE MEANTIME, I, ALONG WITH SEVERAL OTHER HUNDRED PEOPLE, HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD CAR THAT IS JUST SITTING AT A DEALERSHIP AND WE ARE NOT ABLE TO GET FIXED. *JB
DURING THE SUMMER I WAS HAVING TROUBLE STARTING MY JEEP. BY 8/26/2013 IT WOULD NOT START AT ALL. I SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT AT THE LOCAL JEEP DEALER TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I TOOK THE JEEP IN AT THE FIRST AVAILABLE TIME, 9/9/2013. WITHIN TWO DAYS THEY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS BEING THE TIPM UNIT. THEY TOLD ME THAT THE UNIT WAS NOT AVAILABLE AND COULD NOT GIVE ME A TIME WHEN THE UNIT WOULD BE AVAILABLE. THE SERVICE PERSON AT THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME TO CONTACT JEEP DIRECTLY REGARDING THE PART. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THE REPAIR COST FOR THE TIPM UNIT WOULD COST ME $1,050. WHEN I CONTACTED A JEEP CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE ON 9/13/2013 I WAS TOLD THE PART WAS ON EXTREME BACKORDER AND IT WOULD NOT BE A WARRANTY ITEM. THE DEFECTIVE PART CAME INTO THE DEALERSHIP ON APPROXIMATELY 10/18/2013. I WAS WITHOUT A RUNNING VEHICLE FOR 7 WEEKS. THE DEALERSHIP AND JEEP SAID THAT BECAUSE I WAS OUTSIDE MY WARRANTY ON MILEAGE ONLY THAT THEY WOULD NOT WARRANTY THE PART. THE WARRANTY FOR THE VEHICLE IS A 3 YEAR/36,000 MILE. THE MILEAGE ON THE VEHICLE IS 68,491. SO I AM OVER THE WARRANTY ON MILEAGE BUT UNDER THE WARRANTY FOR YEARS. IN TALKING WITH THE SERVICE REPS THEY TOLD ME THAT THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED IN CARS WELL UNDER THE 36,000 MILE THRESHOLD AND THEY COVERED THE PART UNDER WARRANTY. THE PROBLEM WITH THE PART IS NOT A RESULT OF MILEAGE, BUT A RESULT OF POOR DESIGNED OR BAD MANUFACTURING AND SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY OF THE VEHICLE. *TR
MY VEHICLE WOULD NOT CRANK AND STALLS. BATTERY REPLACED, $179.00 LATER.MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT IT HAD UPDATES AND REFLASHED THOSE FOR $50.00 AND ADVISED ME TO TAKE BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR AN INTEGRATED MODULE. AFTER SERVICE EVALUATED MY JEEP, I WAS TOLD THAT THE PROBLEM EXISTED IN THE TIPM. THIS PRODUCT IS ON AT LEAST A 6 WEEK BACK ORDER AND THAT IS NOT A GUARANTEE. ALSO, THERE HAVE BEEN NO RECALLS ON THIS PRODUCT. I HAVE A BUSY COMMUTE TO WORK IN HEAVY TRAFFIC. MY JEEP STALLED ON THE INTERSTATE AND I HAD TO VEER TOWARD THE DITCH TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT. IF I WERE HIT, WOULD MY AIRBAGS EVEN DEPLOY? THIS IS A SAFETY VIOLATION! *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO START THE VEHICLE SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE IT FINALLY DID SO. THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE BATTERY WAS BEING DRAINED SO THE FUEL PUMP FUSE HAD TO BE DISCONNECTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PASSIVE ENTRY MODULE NEEDED TO BE FLASHED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE TOTAL INTEGRATED PROGRAMMING MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 36,000.
CAR WILL NOT START OR OPERATE AT ALL DUE TO A BAD TIPM , THIS PROBLEM IS NOW WIDE SPREAD THROUGH THE NATION WITH JEEP / CHRYSLER CUSTOMERS. MY JEEP WILL BE AT THE DEALER SHIP FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS WAITING FOR THE BACK ORDERED TIPM TO COME IN. *TR
WHILE DRIVING MY 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE I SAW WHITE SMOKE COMING FROM THE DRIVER SIDE SUN VISOR AND THEN A BURNING SMELL. I PULLED OVER AND AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE SMOKE CLEARED, THE BRACKET FOR SUN VISOR STAYED HOT AND SHOWS SIGNS OF MELTING. NO INJURIES, THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO DEALERSHIP IMMEDIATELY. *TR.. AT FIRST WOULD NOT GET ANY RESPONSE WHEN THE START BUTTON WAS DEPRESSED, THIS WOULD HAPPEN MOSTLY IN THE MORNING AND FEW TIMES DURING THE DAY (CHANGES OUT THE BATTERIES IN THE HANDSETS TWICE AND OF COURSE BLAMED THE WIFE THAT IT WAS HER!!!). THIS PAST FEW WEEKS (SINCE SEPT.) THE ENGINE WILL CRANK FOR A FEW SECONDS BUT WILL NOT START, THIS IS MOSTLY IN THE MORNING BUT HAS HAPPENED TO MY WIFE DURING THE DAY. IT HAS NOW STARTED TO LEAVE HERE STRANDED AND ONCE 'DIE' ON HER ON THE HWY!!! I DROVE THE GC TO OUR DEALER ( HAD TO RENT A CAR TO GET BACK HOME) AND AFTER A $110 SERVICE CHARGE WAS 'INFORMED' THAT IT WOULD NEED TO HAVE THE TIPM REPLACED AT A COST OF OVER $1300. AND WOULD HAVE TO WAIT 6-8 WEEKS AS THE TIPM IS ON BACK ORDER NATION WIDE BECAUSE OF SO MANY FAILURES!!!!! THE TECHNICIAN STATED THEY HAVE 24 ON BACKORDER. AND IF I HAD AN ISSUE TO CALL CHRYSLER!!! THIS IS CLEARLY A WIDE SPREAD DEFECTIVE CRITICAL COMPONENT (TIPM) THAT CAN FAIL AT ANYTIME (MULTIPLE TIMES!!!) AND DANGEROUS IF IT FAILS ON THE ROAD. *TR

THE TIPM, A PART OF THE COMPUTER, HAS FAILED AND THE VEHICLE WILL NO LONGER START. VEHICLES HAVE ALSO BEEN KNOWN TO STALL, ALTHOUGH THIS DID NOT HAPPEN TO ME. CHRYSLER HAS FAILED TO RECALL DESPITE HUNDREDS OF ISSUES. MY SMALL DEALER IN GREENSBORO, NC HAS 4 VEHICLES WITH THIS ISSUES. THERE ARE NO PARTS AVAILABLE, AND THEY ARE GIVING NO ESTIMATE ON WHEN PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. SO FAR CHRYSLER HAS FAILED TO RECOGNIZE THE WIDESPREAD NATURE OF THE INCIDENT, DESPITE HUNDREDS OF ONLINE POSTS BY OWNERS, AND MY DEALERS RECOGNITION OF MULTIPLE VEHICLES IN THEIR SHOP FOR THIS ISSUE. *JS
FORUM AFTER FORUM OF THE SAME ISSUES ARE HAPPENING TO MAKE AND MODEL. USERS ARE UNABLE TO START CAR BECAUSE OF TIPM ISSUE. APPARENTLY PEOPLE HAVE EVEN LOST POWER TO CAR WHILE DRIVING. THE TIPM IS ALSO CONNECTED WITH AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT AND IT WILL NOT DEPLOY SHOULD THE CAR LOSE POWER AND HIT ANYTHING. MOST PEOPLE CANNOT EVEN AFFORD TO REPLACE THE 1200 ISSUE. THIS SHOULD BE A NATIONAL RECALL OR EXPECT MANY ACCIDENTS CAUSED BY THIS FOR THOSE THAT ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO FINALLY GET THE CAR STARTED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT WAS NOT INJURED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A BODY SHOP BUT WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 35,000.
I HAVE A 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE THAT HAS A DEFECTIVE PART CALLED A TIPM (TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE). IT DOWNLOADS DATA AND IS PART OF THE ONBOARD COMPUTER AND SPECIALIZED FOR EACH VEHICLE. *TT MY DEFECTIVE TIPM CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO STALL AND EVENTUALLY IT WILL PREVENT IT FROM STARTING. THE TIPM IS COVERED UNDER MY EXTENDED WARRANTY, BUT THE PART IS ON NATIONAL BACKORDER AND CHRYSLER IS UNABLE TO GET IT FROM THE MANUFACTURER (AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT THEY TELL US). I HAVE READ ON SOME MESSAGE BOARDS THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHTS TO PRODUCE THE TIPM THEMSELVES AND THAT THE COMPANY THAT MAKES IT IS GOING BANKRUPT AND CLOSING. IT IS ALSO LIKELY THAT WHOEVER MAKES IT IS IN ANOTHER COUNTRY (THEY WILL NOT TELL US WHERE). CHRYSLER IS TREATING PEOPLE DIFFERENTLY - THOSE WITHOUT WARRANTIES ARE COMPLETELY OUT OF LUCK. THEY HAVE NO WORKING/SAFE/RELIABLE VEHICLE AND HAVE TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR, BUT SINCE THE PART IS NOT AVAILABLE, NO LUCK AND NO TRANSPORTATION. THOSE OF US WITH WARRANTIES ARE TOLD DIFFERENT LIES. THEY GIVE US A DATE THAT IS A MONTH OR TWO AWAY, THEN WHEN THAT COMES AROUND, THEY CHANGE THE DATE. WE HAVE THE ADDED "BONUS" OF BEING IN JEOPARDY EACH AND EVERY TIME WE DRIVE SOMEWHERE AND NOT KNOWING IF WE WILL BE STRANDED OR NOT. THERE ARE AT LEAST SEVERAL HUNDRED PEOPLE HAVING THIS PROBLEM, AND ACCORDING TO ONE POST I READ ON EDMUNDS.COM, THE CHRYSLER CASE MANAGER TOLD SOMEONE THAT 25,000 OF THESE WERE NEEDED. CHRYSLER IS WELL AWARE OF THIS DEFECT, BUT THEY REFUSE TO DO A RECALL AND SO FAR THEY HAVE NOT PROVIDED ME WITH A RENTAL CAR. THEY CLAIM THAT THEY WILL, BUT THEN PLAY THE PHONE GAME, WHERE CHRYSLER USA, CANNOT REACH THE SERVICE MANAGER AT THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP, WHO CANNOT REACH THE RENTAL DEPARTMENT AND SO ON.
2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE SUDDENLY FAILED TO START RELIABLY. ESPECIALLY AFTER SITTING OVERNIGHT, IT WOULD TAKE MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO START. INITIALLY, THE JEEP DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT FAILED TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. EVENTUALLY AFTER DEALING WITH THIS "FAIL TO START" SITUATION FOR A MONTH, THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM) NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE PROBLEM BEGAN JUST DAYS AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRED. REPLACEMENT PART NEEDED TO BE PAID FOR UP-FRONT ($932.40) THROUGH THE DEALERSHIP. 33 DAYS LATER, THE PART STILL HAS NOT ARRIVED AND VEHICLE CONTINUES TO BE UNRELIABLE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT UPON STARTING, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART AFTER WAITING A FEW HOURS. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,000.
I WOULD LIKE TO PLACE A FORMAL COMPLIANT AGAINST CHRYSLER GROUP, LLC. MY FAMILY ALONG WITH HUNDREDS, IF NOT THOUSANDS OF OTHER 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE OWNERS. THIS ISSUE IS AROUND THE TIPM DEVICE THAT SEEMS TO BE FAILING ON MANY CONSUMER'S VEHICLE DATING BACK TO THE EARLY PART OF 2013. FINALLY, AFTER A COUPLE TO TRIPS TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT FOR THIS ISSUE, I WAS FINALLY TOLD THE PART IS ON BACK ORDER. THE PROBLEM IS THE DEALER, NOR THE CHRYSLER GROUP DOESN'T HAVE AN IDEA WHEN THIS PART WILL BE AVAILABLE LEAVING MANY OF US WITHOUT A CAR FOR AN UNDETERMINED AMOUNT OF TIME. THIS PART (TIPM) NEEDS TO BE PLACED ON OFFICIAL RECALL BY THE CORPORATION AND UNTIL IT ACTUALLY IS.........IT HAS PLACED UNDUE FINANCIAL STRAIN OF MANY OF THE OWNERS OF THE JEEP. WE ARE EXPECTED BY THE BANKS TO CONTINUE PAYING OUR CAR NOTE, ALONG WITH INSURANCE. NOW CHRSYLER IS SAYING THAT WE MUST ALSO COME OUT OF POCKET FOR RENTALS TO REPLACE THE VEHICLES WE HAVE AND OR PAYING FOR UNTIL THEY RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. THIS IS SO NOT RIGHT ON SO MANY LEVELS AND APPARENTLY THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH THIS WITHOUT RECOURSE. IN CONCLUSION, JUST ASKING THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT TO LOOK INTO THIS ISSUE AND ASSIST US CONSUMERS BEING HELD HOSTAGE BY CHRYSLER GROUP, LLC. *TT

I TRAVEL TO ALL PARTS OF THE CITY AND IN SOME CASES FIND MYSELF IN AREAS THAT YOU WOULD MOST CERTAINLY NOT WANT TO BE STRANDED...BY THE END OF THE DAY, I FOUND MYSELF IN A BAD PART OF TOWN AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT TURN OVER...TOOK ABOUT 25 MINUTES TO FINAL START AND I GOT IT HOME. THE NEXT MORNING, THE SAME PROBLEM. WHEN I FINALLY GOT IT STARTED, I TOOK IT DIRECTLY TO THE DEALERSHIP....THERE IT HAS BEEN FOR ALMOST 4 WEEKS W/ NO REAL SOLUTION IN SIGHT..I AM TOLD IT MAY BE THE TIPM??? AND THAT THIS PART MAY NOT EVEN BE AVAILABLE THROUGH A 2ND OR 3RD PARTY MANUFACTURER THAT MAY BE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS?? WHERE DOES CHRYSELER STAND ON THIS??? 2011 JEEP CHEROKEE SHOWING SYMPTOMS OF SAME WIDE SPREAD PROBLEM WITH STARTING ISSUE. VEHICLE CRANKS OVER BUT DOES NOT START. MUST ATTEMPT NUMEROUS TIMES UNTIL STARTED. WHILE DRIVING, IF VEHICLE DIES ALL LOSS OF POWER STEERING AND BRAKES IS LOST AND IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN. MULTIPLE ISSUES. IT BEGAN WITH THE KEY LESS REMOTE ENTRY NOT WORKING PROPERLY, NOT OPENING OR LOCKING THE CAR. I THEN BEGAN TO NOTICE THE CAR WOULD UNLOCK ITSELF OVERNIGHT (LUCKILY IT IS KEPT IN A GARAGE). MOVING FORWARD, WHEN I WOULD PUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION, THE CAR WOULD START, I WOULD THEN PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE, AND IT WOULD IMMEDIATELY SHUT OFF, ALL POWER GONE. I WOULD HAVE TO SLAM THE CAR INTO PARK AND TRY AGAIN. MOST RECENTLY, I WILL PUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION AND TURN THE CAR ON, UNFORTUNATELY, THE CAR NEVER TURNS ON, IT IDLES IN THE IGNITION PHASE JUST BEFORE IT TURNS ON. *TR
THE VEHICLE STALLED WHILE DRIVING ON NY HIGHWAY GOING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH. I PANICKED SINCE I HAD MY KIDS IN THE VEHICLE. BUT THE WORST THING IS THAT IT TOOK ME AROUND 30 MINUTES TO START THE VEHICLE AFTER THE FACT. WE WERE STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY BLOCKING TRAFFIC. EVER SINCE THEN, I HAVE BEEN HAVING ISSUES WITH STARTING ENGINE. IT WILL TAKE ME ABOUT 15-30 MINUTES TO START THIS, TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A DEALERSHIP AND I WAS ADVISED THAT THE BATTERY WAS BAD. WE HAVE OWNED OTHER BRANDS BUT, THIS IS MERE 3 YEAR OLD VEHICLE! REPLACED THE BATTERY BUT, WAS HAVING SAME ISSUES FOR ABOUT A MONTH. I WAS HOPING IT WILL GO AWAY UNTIL A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO I WAS UNSUCCESSFUL IN STARTING THE ENGINE! I HAD TO MISS WORK AND HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP. AS SOON AS I DESCRIBED THE ISSUES, A SERVICE MANAGER TOLD ME THAT ITS "TIPM" AND THEY ARE BACK ORDERED FOR 5-6 WEEKS. I JUST CAN NOT AFFORD TO COMMUTE WITHOUT A VEHICLE AND CERTAINLY DO NOT WANT REPEAT WITH MY FAMILY IN THE VEHICLE. I AM STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK FROM THE DEALERSHIP. DID CHRYSLER RECALL 2011 GRAND CHEROKEE 4X4? I HAVE 6 MORE MONTHS UNTIL THE LEASE ENDS AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. INITIALLY, I TOOK THE CAR (2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE) TO THE DEALER DUE TO A ROUGH IDLE, A SHAKING THAT HAD NOT OCCURRED BEFORE. THEY DISMISSED IT SAYING IT WAS DUE TO US RUNNING THE AIR CONDITIONING DURING THE SUMMER. I THEN RAN THE CAR WITH OUT THE AC ON AND IT STILL OCCURRED. NEXT, THE CAR BEGAN CRANKING AND NOT STARTING. I LOOKED UP THE SYMPTOMS ON THE INTERNET AND SAW MANY OTHERS HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE JEEP/CHRYSLER TIPM PART. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALER, DESCRIBED THE PROBLEM, AND ASKED THEM TO LOOK IN TO THE TIPM ALSO AS OTHERS WERE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. THE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS "TWO CODES" THAT NEEDED TO BE UPDATED AND NOT THE TIPM. WITHIN 24 HOURS, THE CAR DID NOT START AND CRANKED AGAIN. FOR THE THIRD TIME, I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER. THEY THEN REPORTED IT COULD EITHER BE THE FUEL PUMP OR THE TIPM. ( I TOLD THEM THAT WAS WHAT I HAD ASKED FOR THEM TO LOOK AT THE LAST VISIT.) THEY THEN DETERMINED IT IS THE TIPM, AND THE NEEDED PART WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL 9-25-13, LEAVING ME CAR LESS UNTIL THAT TIME. MY EXTENDED WARRANTY ONLY COVERS A 5 DAY RENTAL AND CHRYSLER HAS THUS FAR REFUSED TO PROVIDE A RENTAL UNTIL THE PART IS RECEIVED. THANK YOU.
NATIONAL PROBLEM! TROUBLE STARTING VEHICLE - BAD TIPM. MANY REPORTS OF OTHER JEEP AND CHRYSLERS HAVE THE SAME ISSUE WITH THIS BATCH OF BAD PARTS. LOG ONTO ANY JEEP FORUM AND LOOK AROUND! TOOK 25 MINUTES TO GET THE TIPM TO START UP THE ENGINE. STARTING TROUBLE WENT AWAY FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS BUT IS INCREASINGLY GETTING WORSE. THE PROBLEM IS NOW EFFECTING ABOUT EVERY THIRD START UP AND HAS MADE ME MISS A JOB INTERVIEW BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF RELIABILITY. TOOK THE JEEP TO THE DEALER, THEY INSTALLED ALL THE FLASH UPDATES FOR THE TIPM - NO DIFFERENCE AFTER THE FLASHES WERE INSTALLED. DEALER SAID THAT I NEEDED A NEW TIPM. THE CRAPPY PROBLEM IS THAT THE PART IS ON A 3 MONTH BACK ORDER! THEY ARE NOT WANTING TO COVER THIS UNDER WARRANTY (UNDER 3 YEARS / OVER 36,000 MILES) BUT I PLACED A COMPLAINT WITH CHRYSLER CUSTOMER SERVICE TO BOTH EXPEDITE THE PART AND GET IT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. WHEN I CALLED THE CHRYSLER CUSTOMER SERVICER LINE, I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS HER SECOND TIPM ISSUE THIS MORNING! I WAS TOLD THE TIPM WOULD COST ME $1,000.....EVEN IF YOU COULD ORDER THE PART! DROVE VEHICLE HOME, BECAUSE I COULD NOT AFFORD A RENTAL CAR FOR AND UNSPECIFIED AMOUNT OF TIME, AND HAVE HAD ISSUES EVERY DAY. LAST WEEK, THE JEEP STALLED WHILE I WAS DOING 45 MPH ON A CITY ROAD. WAS ABLE TO COAST TO THE SHOULDER WITH NO INCIDENT, BUT IT TOOK ABOUT 15 MINUTES OF CONTINUOUS TRIAL TO GET THE VEHICLE STARTED AGAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND THEY STATED THAT THE TOTAL INTEGRATED POWER MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,000.
BEGINNING THE EVENING OF JULY 30, I EXPERIENCED ISSUES WITH STARTING MY GRAND CHEROKEE. THESE ISSUES WERE SPORADIC, HOWEVER ONCE EVERY THREE OR FOUR TIMES I ATTEMPTED TO START THE ENGINE, THE ENGINE WOULD CRANK BUT FAIL TO START. ON JULY 31, I SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT WITH MY LOCAL JEEP DEALERSHIP (VIDEON CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP IN NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA) FOR AUGUST 5. BY AUGUST 2, THE JEEP WAS NOT DRIVABLE AS STARTING IT WOULD TAKE 20-30 MINUTES EACH TIME. I WAS FORCED TO RENT A CAR AT MY OWN EXPENSE FOR THE WEEKEND OF AUGUST 3-4. ON AUGUST 5 THE DEALERSHIP DIAGNOSED THE ISSUE AS PERTAINING TO TSB 08-053-11 AND REPROGRAMMED THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE. ON AUGUST 7, I EXPERIENCED THE NO START ISSUE AGAIN AND SCHEDULED A SECOND APPOINTMENT WITH THE DEALERSHIP FOR AUGUST 8. ON AUGUST 8, THE TIPM WAS IDENTIFIED AS NEEDING TO BE REPLACED. I WAS INFORMED BY THE DEALERSHIP THAT THE NECESSARY PART WAS ON BACKORDER WITH AN ESTIMATED ARRIVAL TIME OF WITHIN ?A FEW WEEKS?. THE DEALERSHIP ADVISED THAT IT WAS OK FOR ME TO CONTINUE DRIVING THE VEHICLE IN THE MEANTIME DESPITE THE ISSUE. ON THE EVENING OF AUGUST 16, WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT A SPEED OF APPROXIMATELY 40 MILES PER HOUR, THE ENGINE STALLED, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO LOSE ALL POWER NEAR THE INTERSECTION [XXX] GIVEN THE NATURE OF THE ROAD AS WELL AS THE TRAFFIC AROUND ME, THIS SITUATION POSED A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD TO MYSELF, MY PASSENGER, AND OTHERS NEAR MY VEHICLE, AND SINCE THAT POINT I NO LONGER FEEL SAFE OPERATING THE VEHICLE IN ITS CURRENT CONDITION. WAITED FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES THEN JEEP STARTED.TOOK JEEP TO THE JEEP DEALER IN AUG. DEALER DID SOFTWARE UPGRADE. STILL HAD ROUGH IDLE AND HARD TO START. TOOK JEEP IN AGAIN. THEY SAID TO ORDER A TIPM. DEALER SAID IT WOULD BE AT LEAST SEVERAL WEEKS TO GET THE PART AND TO PARK THE JEEP DUE TO THE STALLING OUT SITUATION. WROTE AN EMAIL TO THE JEEP CEO. JEEP RESPONDED. THE TIPM WAS REPLACED IN EARLY SEPT. STALLING IS GONE BUT THE ROUGH IDLE IS NOW BACK. THIS ISSUES COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS. CONSIDERING HOW JEEPS ARE USED (OFF ROAD, LONG TRIPS) ONE COULD EASILY BE STRANDED OR WORSE. GIVEN THE NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS AND THE LONG PERIOD OF TIME TO GET A PART IT WOULD SEEM LIKE A RECALL IS IN ORDER. IT APPEARS THAT THE PART IS NO LONGER MANUFACTURED DUE TO A BANKRUPTCY OF THE OEM. AFTER A FEW DAYS THERE I WAS NOTIFIED THAT IT WAS HE TIPM AND THE PART WE ON ORDER, BUT WAS ON NATIONAL BACK ORDER FROM JEEP AND I WAS NUMBER 141 IN LINE WAITING FOR ONE. AS OF TODAY, 9/3/14, STILL NO PART AND STILL NO ESTIMATED DELIVERY OF SAID TIPM. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE THE JEEP SINCE THEN BECAUSE IT IS UNRELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND MY JOB REQUIRES ME TO TRAVEL UP TO 300 MILES PER DAY. I DID THE NEXT DAY, THIS TIME GETTING A DODGE DART FROM THE RENTAL COMPANY 8 DAYS IN THE SHOP WHEN I RECEIVED A CALL THAT IT WAS READY, THIS TIME THEY REPLACED THE IGNITION MODULE AND GAVE ME A NEW REMOTE KEY. THE NEXT DAY AUG 8TH WENT TO GO TO WORK AND THE CAR WOULDN'T START. HALF HOUR LATER GOT THE CAR STARTED AND BACK TO DEALERSHIP, THIS TIME I RECEIVED A NISSAN VERSA RENTAL. THEY HAVE HAD IT EVER SINCE 14 DAYS AND COUNTING. I TALK TO SERVICE DEPARTMENT ON THURSDAY AUGUST 15TH. AND THEY TOLD ME THEY GOT IT NOT TO START AND THAT IT WAS THE FUEL INJECTORS, I INTERJECTED AND TOLD HIM ABOUT THIS FORUM AND TO CHECK THE TIPM AND THEY JUST RELEASED 2000 FROM THE FACTORY ON THE 13TH. SAID HE WOULD SPEAK WITH TECHNICIAN AND GET BACK TO ME. CALLED ME FRIDAY AND SAID THEY WERE REPLACING THE TIPM AND HE WOULD HAVE A BETTER IDEA ON A TIME FRAME BY THE MIDDLE OF THIS WEEK. 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. I HAVE BEEN WAITING SINCE JULY FOR TIPM REPLACEMENT . (WENT OUT @ 17,000 MILES) VEHICLE DIFFICULT TO START. WAS TOLD BY DEALERSHIP TO KEEP TRYING TO DRIVE UNTIL THE PART BECAME AVAILABLE. HOWEVER, DURING THIS TIME THE VEHICLE STARTED STALLING IN TRAFFIC AND WHILE DRIVING, MAKING THIS A VERY UNSAFE SITUATION! CAR IS PARKED NOW AND DEALER ESTIMATES 4-6 WKS UNTIL TIPM WILL BECOME AVAILABLE DUE TO BACKORDER. *TR
JEEP TURNS OFF WHEN I AM DRIVING IT. THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING PROBLEM FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND I HAVE EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM TO JEEP REPAIR SHOP ON 2 OCCASIONS NOW, YET THE PROBLEM CONTINUES. RECENTLY CHRYSLER RECALLED THE FUEL PUMP RELAY AND STATED IT COULD CAUSE STALLING WHILE DRIVING. I HAVE HAD THE RECALL WORK PERFORMED HOWEVER MY CAR HAS STALLED WHILE DRIVING IT SINCE THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED. THIS IS DANGEROUS AS THE CAR TURNS OFF WHILE IT IS MOVING. ONCE OFF, THE POWER STEERING NO LONGER WORKS MAKING IT NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN THE CAR UNTIL IT IS RESTARTED. MANY OF THE TIMES THIS HAS HAPPENED HAVE BEEN ON A FREEWAY OFFRAMP WHILE DECELERATING. I HAVE BEEN VERY LUCKY SO FAR THAT NONE OF THEM RESULTING IN ACCIDENTS YET. THIS PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE FIXED AS IT IS DANGEROUS. THIS ISSUE HAS TO DO WITH THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM) USED IN JEEP AND OTHER MAKES. THIS PART IS RESPONSIBLE FOR A LOT OF THE POWER SWITCHING/MODULATION/DISTRIBUTION, AND COMMUNICATIONS WITH OTHER SYSTEMS IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ONLINE REGARDING THIS PART THAT IS ON NATIONAL BACKORDER. OUR CAR HAS BEEN OUT OF SERVICE SITTING AT A JEEP DEALER SINCE JULY WITH NO ESTIMATE FROM CHRYSLER OF WHEN THE PART MIGHT BE AVAILABLE. THERE HAS BEEN NO TALK OF A RECALL AT THIS POINT. THE PART ALMOST ALWAYS GOES BAD AFTER THE WARRANTY HAS LAPSED AND COSTS ANYWHERE FROM $900 - $1400 DEPENDING ON THE DEALERSHIP, ETC. ONCE IT GOES, THE CAR IS RENDERED USELESS. WE SPENT $2,000 AT A MECHANIC WHO THOUGHT IT WAS THE FUEL PUMP AND AN ADDITIONAL $1000+ ON A RENTAL CAR BEFORE THE CAR WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. WE ARE UNABLE TO ONLY HAVE ONE CAR, SO WE HAVE NOW BOUGHT A THIRD CAR. FORTUNATELY WE ARE IN A POSITION TO DO THIS. MANY PEOPLE ARE UNABLE TO AFFORD EVEN A RENTAL. THE SAFETY ISSUE COMES INTO PLAY BECAUSE THE CAR MAY JSUT STOP WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING. THIS DID HAPPEN TO OURS ONCE, BUT IT WAS BEFORE THERE WAS AN OBVIOUS PROBLEM AND THE CAR WORKED FINE AFTER THE INCIDENT SO WE NEVER LOOKED INTO IT. THERE IS ALSO THE ISSUE THAT SOMETIMES IT MAY START, BUT IF YOU TURN THE CAR OFF IT MAY NOT START THE NEXT TIME POSSIBLY STRANDING THE DRIVER WHO KNOWS WHERE. AT THIS POINT PEOPLE WOULD JUST LIKE THIS ISSUE ACKNOWLEDGED AND INVESTIGATED.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 36,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
I PURCHASED THE ABOVE LISTED VEHICLE IN APRIL 2013, HAD TO BRING IT BACK FOR AN ISSUE WITH THE BRAKES. I HAD LITTLE TO NO PEDAL, BROUGHT THE VEHICLE INTO THE DEALER WAITED APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS AND THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED TO ME. SERVICE WRITER STATED THAT BEING THE TRUCK WAS ON THE LOT FOR A WHILE, THE BRAKES GOT WARPED. WAS TOLD THAT THE BRAKES WERE CHANGED. I LEFT WITH THE VEHICLE THAT HAD A LITTLE MORE PEDAL SINCE I BROUGHT IT INTO SERVICE.ON OR ABOUT THE FIRST WEEK OF FEB. 2014 I EXPERIENCED MY BRAKE PEDAL WAS HARD AS A ROCK AND I WAS UNABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE. BROUGHT MY VEHICLE INTO SERVICE EXPLAINED TO THEM WHAT WAS GOING ON AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE BRAKE BOOSTERS. I GET INTO MY VEHICLE A FEW DAYS LATER AND ONCE AGAIN I WAS NOT ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE, THIS TIME I ALMOST WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. I DROVE THE VEHICLE ALMOST 10 MILES AT 20 MPH TO THE DEALERSHIP AND DEMANDED THEY FIX THE BRAKES. THE SERVICE MANAGER CAME OUT GOT INTO MY VEHICLE DROVE IT DOWN THE STREET WHILE I WAS THE VEHICLE,THE VEHICLE WAS THERE FOR ALMOST FIVE WEEKS, I FINALLY RECEIVED A CALL ON APRIL 10, 2014 THAT MY VEHICLE WAS READY. I GET INTO THE VEHICLE I PRESS ON THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE PEDAL GOES RIGHT TO THE FLOOR. I WAS ADVISED BY THE SERVICE WRITER THAT I NEEDED REAR BRAKES AND THAT IS WHY ITS DOING THAT. THE COST FOR REAR BRAKES WAS ABOUT 500.00, I DECLINED AND TOLD THE SERVICE WRITER I HAD MY BRAKES DONE SEVERAL MONTHS AGO AND THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN NEED OF REPAIR. HE LOOKED INTO THE SYSTEM AND TOLD ME ONLY MY FRONT BRAKES WERE REPAIRED, THEY JUST SURFACED THE ROTORS AND PUT THE SAME PADS BACK ON. I WENT TO THE SHOW ROOM ASKED FOR A 2011 GRAND CHEROKEE BROUGHT IT TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND SHOWED THEM A VEHICLE WITH 6000 MORE MILES THAN MINE AND TWO MILLIMETERS LESS PAD THAN MINE AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS FULL. *TR
MY CAR WOULD NOT START I TOOK IT FOR SERVICE AND IT WAS CORRECTED AND REPLACED UNDER MY WARRANTY. UPON APPLYING EMERGENCY BRAKES, THE CABLE BROKE AND THE PEDAL WENT TO FLOOR. EMERGENCY BRAKES WERE INOPERATIVE AFTER THAT. THE DEALER FOUND THAT METAL BRACKETS THAT ATTACH THE FRONT BRAKE CABLE TO THE REAR BRAKES CABLES HAD RUSTED AND BROKE. *TR
I BOUGHT MY 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE, BRAND NEW... LITERALLY 0 MILES ON IT. BEGINNING AT JUST SHY OF 36,000 MILES IT BEGAN TO INTERMITTENTLY HAVE CRANKING AND STARTING ISSUES. EVERY TIME I WOULD TAKE IT TO THE SERVICE CENTER AT THE DEALERSHIP, THEY COULD NEVER GET THE PROBLEM TO "REPLICATE." AFTER SEVERAL DIAGNOSTIC TESTS COSTING $104.86 EACH, THEY FOUND NOTHING. WHEN THE VEHICLE REACHED 38,902 MILES, AND AFTER THE PROBLEM BECAME MORE RECURRENT THE DEALERSHIP HAD ME TO REPLACE MY KEY FOB BATTERY AND UPDATE THE SOFTWARE IN MY PCM & WCM. ($170.00) THE PROBLEM DIDN'T SUBSIDE, AND I WAS LEFT TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM WHICH OCCURRED AT MOST INOPPORTUNE TIMES, BUT ONLY INTERMITTENTLY... UNTIL YESTERDAY. AFTER APPROXIMATELY A DOZEN+ ATTEMPTS TO GET THE JEEP TO CRANK AND START, I TOOK TO YOUTUBE (HTTP://YOUTU.BE/27XKM0FAIWI) WHERE I FOUND THAT I WAS NOT ALONE. NOT ONLY AM I NOT ALONE, I NOW REALIZE WHAT A SYSTEMIC PROBLEM THIS IS AND THAT JEEP/ CHRYSLER/ DODGE MUST CERTAINLY BE AWARE OF IT. I TOOK MY JEEP INTO MY LOCAL TAMPA, FL. DEALER TODAY FULLY EXPECTING TO GET THE RUN-AROUND, AND FOR THE FIRST TIME THEY DIDN'T DISAPPOINT... JUST AS SUSPECTED THEY PASSED THE BUCK. THEY CHARGED ME ANOTHER $104.86 FOR A "DIAGNOSTIC TEST" (WHICH I ALREADY HAD INFORMED THEM OF WHAT THEY'D FIND)! THEY THEN QUICKLY HANDED ME A REPAIR QUOTE OF $1,300+ TAX. I CALLED CHRYSLER'S CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE CENTER (1-800-992-1997) AND I SPOKE WITH A REPRESENTATIVE WHO BASICALLY AFTER A 30 MINUTE CONVERSATION OF EXPLAINING MY SITUATION STATED THAT IF I WOULD HAVE CAUGHT THE UNDIAGNOSED ISSUE AT 36,000 MILES AND WHILE IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY, IT'D WOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED. SO ESSENTIALLY ALL THAT COULD BE DONE WAS FOR ME TO LEAVE MY JEEP WITH THEM FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG AND PAY THE ASSESSED FEE. SHE THEN ADDED THAT I COULD FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE N.H.T.S.A (1-888-327-4236) TO WHICH I DID. *TR
THE LIGHT BULBS ON THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE USE FOR ADVISING LEFT OR RIGHT TURN AS WELL AS REGULAR NIGHT FOR VISIBILITY ARE MELTING THE COVER FRAME WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED, THIS CAUSE WATER TO LEAK FROM THE OUTSIDE CAUSING THE BULB TO MALFUNCTION OR DAMAGING THE SAME. THIS COULD EASILY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT BY THE OTHER VEHICLE BEHIND YOU NOT BEEN ABLE TO SEE YOU UP FRONT.
ENGINE STARTS AFTER KEY FOB IS BUMPED. MY GARAGE IS INSIDE MY HOUSE. WE COULD DIE FROM CARBOM MONOXIDE POISING REPORTED TO DEALERSHIP THEY SAID NOTHING COULD BE DONE.MAYBE MY ATTORNEY CAN DO SOMETHING. *TR
