I WAS DRIVING MY CAR AND THE CAR SHUT DOWN AND STEERING WHEEL LOCKED IN PLACE. A FLASHING MESSAGE CAME ON TO RESTART MY CAR. LUCKILY I WAS ON AN EMPTY ROAD AND NO ONE WAS BEHIND ME.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, SEVERAL UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE RESIDENCE. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO PLACE THE GEAR SHIFTER IN PARK, THE TRANSMISSION FAILED TO ENGAGE. THE STARTED TO ROLL BACKWARDS AND THE PARKING BRAKE WAS ACTIVATED TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO TURN THE VEHICLE OFF. AFTER A WHILE, THE VEHICLE LOSS POWER AND TURNED OFF. THE FOLLOWING DAY AFTER STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO SHIFT THE VEHICLE OUT OF GEAR HOWEVER, THE TRANSMISSION FAILED TO ENGAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO TRANSITOWNE JEEP CHRYSLER DODGE RAM OF WEST SENECA (2989 TRANSIT RD, ELMA, NY 14059) TO BE DIAGNOSED HOWEVER, THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST WAS STILL PENDING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED THE CONTACT WITH A CASE NUMBER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 13,787.
DRIVING MY CAR AROUND A CURVE WHEN THE WHEEL LOCKED UP ON ME AND STARTED TURNING IN THE OTHER DIRECTION AND INTO OPPOSING TRAFFIC
ENGINE SHUTDOWN WHILE DRIVING. HAS SHUT DOWN MULTIPLE TIMES WHILE MOVING DOWN THE ROAD. ENGINE SHUTS OFF, PRESSING GAS WILL REV THE ENGINE BUT THERE WILL BE NO TRANSMISSION POWER EVEN THOUGH THE VEHICLE IS STILL IN DRIVE. HAVE TO PULL OVER AND SHIFT INTO PARK AND RESTART. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! *TR
THE JEEP MAKES A LOUD POPPING NOISE WHEN PLACING IT INTO ANY GEAR AND YOU CAN FEEL A PUSH FORWARD. I TOOK THE JEEP INTO THE DEALERSHIP TO CHECK OUT THE PROBLEM. FIRST THEY SAID THEY DID NOT HAVE IT HAPPEN TO THEM AND I NEEDED ME TO COME IN AND SHOW THEM. WHEN I GOT THERE AND SHOWED THEM AND THE MECHANIC FIRST THOUGHT IT COULD BE SOMETHING AND PUT IT UP TO LOOK AT IT AGAIN. HE MADE IT REPEAT THE POPPING AND LURCHING MOVEMENT MULTIPLE TIMES THEN CAME BACK AND SAID ALL JEEPS DO THIS AND IT IS NORMAL. BUT NOW IT IS WORSE AND IT IS ALSO POPPING AND LURCHING WHILE SLOWING DOWN AND SPEEDING UP.
WHEN USING THE VIEW SCREEN FOR NAVIGATION I CONTINUE TO GET WEATHER ALERTS FOR LOCATIONS THAT 100S MILES AWAY FROM ME. WHICH MAKE ME LOOK DOWN AT THE SCREEN TO TOUCH THE OK BUTTON TO GET BACK TO THE NAVIGATION. THE FEATURE TO TURN OFF WEATHER ALERTS IS NOT PROGRAMMED INTO THE HEAD UNIT, WHICH SENDS OUT NON RELATED WEATHER ALERTS CONSTANTLY DURING MY DRIVING. AGAIN, FORCING ME TO LOOK DOWN AT THE SCREEN TO TOUCH OK! VERY DANGEROUS TO BE OPERATING THE SCREEN HEAD UNIT WHILE DRIVING. EVERY FEW MINUTES! VEHICLE IN MOTION. *TR
WHILE DRIVING STRAIGHT AT APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH ON A THE 3 LANE ROAD FULL OF TRAFFIC VEHICLE SUDDENLY CLUNKED LOUDLY AND VIOLENTLY SHIFTED FROM HIGH GEAR POSSIBLY FIFTH OR SIXTH INTO FIRST GEAR WITH THE RPMS AT OVER 7000 THIS CAUSED ME AND MY FAMILY TO LUNGE FORWARD AT WHICH TIME I MOMENTARILY LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. I WAS ABLE TO GAIN CONTROL AND STEER THE CAR TOWARDS THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND HAD TO SLAM THE SHIFTER INTO PARK IN ORDER TO STOP. WHILE STOPPED THE VEHICLE REMAINED AT 7000 RPMS UNTIL I PUSHED THE OFF BUTTON OF THE CONSOLE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY SHIFTED INTO PARK WITH THE PARKING BRAKE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO RESTART THE VEHICLE SEVERAL TIMES HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BAY CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (636 15TH ST, PANAMA CITY, FL 32401) TO BE DIAGNOSED WHICH WAS STILL PENDING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 31,000. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED.
THE LOWER LEATHER DRIVER'S SEAT HAS LOST IT'S BOLSTERING WITHIN ONE YEAR OF PURCHASE. THIS CAUSES THE DRIVER TO LOOSE LOWER SEAT SUPPORT WHICH ALLOWS THE SEATED DRIVER TO LEAN AGAINST THE DOOR WHILE DRIVING.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO IMMEDIATELY SHIFT INTO DRIVE OR REVERSE. IN ADDITION, THE DASHBOARD COMPUTER MALFUNCTIONED. AFTER THE COMPUTER SELF RESET, THE VEHICLE WOULD SUDDENLY ACCELERATE. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS THE ENGINE REVVED UP AND THE VEHICLE WOULD ABRUPTLY ACCELERATE FORWARD OR IN REVERSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER JIM SHORKEY NORTH HILLS CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM LOCATED AT 7670 MCKNIGHT RD, PITTSBURGH, PA 15237 WHO WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,700.
I GOT INTO MY VEHICLE AND WHEN I TRIED STARTING IT WOULD NOT TURN ON THE ENGINE. THE ONLY THING THAT WOULD ILLUMINATE WAS THE SPEEDOMETER AREA. THE AUDIO UNIT WOULD TURN ON OFF AND THEN ON AND THEN OFF. I TRIED ABOUT 10 TIMES AND WOULD NOT START THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY WHEN IT HAPPENED.
THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM HAS A WEATHER ALERT NOTIFICATION THAT CAN'T BE DISABLED. IT TAKES UP THE ENTIRE INFOTAINMENT SCREEN AND DOES NOT GO AWAY UNLESS I TAKE MY EYES OFF THE ROAD TO CLICK ON IT TO CLOSE THE WINDOW. THIS HAPPENS EVERYDAY IN MY JEEP WITH A WIND ADVISORY. PRETTY ABSURD NOTIFICATION ESPECIALLY SINCE IT HAPPENS EVERY DAY. I LIVE ON THE WEST COATS AND UNDERSTAND IT CAN BE WINDY. SUPER DANGEROUS TO CONSTANTLY POP UP AND MAKE ME CLOSE IT MANUALLY.
THIS IS IN REFERENCE TO AN ACCIDENT ON 1/22/20 AT APPROXIMATELY 5:45PM NEAR PITTSBURGH, PA. I HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE 'DRIVER SIDE' LOWER OR 'FOOT' AIR BAG, AS IT DID NOT 'UNDEPLOY' OR IF IT DID, IT IS VERY BULKY AFTER DOING SO AND BECAUSE OF THAT, IT CAUSED, IN MY OPINION, ADDITIONAL AND UNNECESSARY DAMAGES TO THE OTHER PARTY'S INVOLVED. SITUATION - IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE ACCIDENT, I NEEDED TO APPLY THE BRAKES AND COULD NOT DO SO BECAUSE THE AIRBAG WAS IN THE WAY OF MY FEET REACHING AND PRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE VEHICLE WAS STILL IN DRIVE AND IDLING WHICH, CONSEQUENTLY LED TO ME PUSHING THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME FURTHER THAN THE ACTUAL SPOT OF THE ACCIDENT AND 'POSSIBLY' INTO THE VEHICLES IN FRONT OF HER. I LITERALLY HAD TO PUT THE JEEP IN 'NEUTRAL' AND THEN PRESS THE 'POWER OR ON/OFF' BUTTON TO SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF AND TO KEEP IT FROM CONTINUING TO PUSH HER CAR. NOW ... DO I BELIEVE YOUR VEHICLE SAVED MY LIFE ABSOLUTELY! HOWEVER, THIS AIRBAG ISSUE SEEMS TO BE SOMETHING THAT COULD HAVE TURNED OUT HORRIBLY WRONG HAD I NOT KNOWN HOW TO SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF WITHOUT USING THE BREAK. IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN UNCONSCIOUS, THEN IN THEORY I L COULD HAVE PUSHED THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME UNTIL WHAT I WAS PUSHING VIA IDLING WAS TOO MUCH WEIGHT FOR THE LOW RPM'S OF IDLING TO BEAR. ADDITIONAL DETAILS - WHILE EXITING THE HIGHWAY, BUT STILL ON THE EXIT RAMP, I WAS INVOLVED IN A MULTI CAR (4) ACCIDENT THAT I BELIEVE (AS I DID OVERHEAR CONVERSATIONS FROM THE OTHER DRIVERS BUT BEING THE 4TH VEHICLE OUT OF 4, I DID NOT EYEWITNESS THIS MYSELF) MAY HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY AN AGGRESSIVE DRIVER WHO CUT OFF ANOTHER DRIVER IN FRONT OF THE 4 OF US AND THIS ACTION INEVITABLY CAUSED THE 4 OF US BEHIND HIM TO SLAM ON OUR BRAKES. UNFORTUNATELY, THINGS HAPPENED SO QUICKLY THAT I WAS NOT ABLE TO AVOID HITTING THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME.
HELLO. I HAVE FOUND MANY ISSUES WITH MY UCONNECT SYSTEM AND WHAT APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN COMPROMISED (HACKED). I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO JEEP AND THE SIRIUS/CM SYSTEM. 1 OCCASION MY SOS/ASSIST FEATURE WAS DEACTIVATED WHILE I WAS IN THE CAR. ANOTHER TIME LIGHT CHANGED FROM RED TO GREEN ON ANOTHER OCCASION WITHOUT TOUCHING IT. 2 SYSTEM WAS RESET AND SHOWING PHONES BEING CONNECTED THAT HAD BEEN TOTALLY REMOVED FROM UCONNECT SYSTEM. 3 ON MORE THEN ONE OCCASION MY UCONNECT LINKS/APPS WERE NOT LOADED... TOTALLY DISAPPEARED AFTER BEING THERE AND CAR WAS ON FOR MORE THEN AN HOUR. 4 SETTINGS BUTTON/ OPTION TO ADJUST IMPORTANT INFORMATION SOMETIMES NOT ON SCREEN. 5 MAP NAVIGATION GIVING MISDIRECTION AND HAD ME DRIVING IN CIRCLES BACK TO MY STARTING POINT. 6 SCREEN FREEZING AND NOT ALLOWING ME TO DISCONNECT PHONE/CHANGE SCREENS...ALSO HAD ISSUES WHERE MY SCREENS WOULD JUMP FROM ONE THING TO THE NEXT WITHOUT TOUCHING ANYTHING. DO NOT KNOW IF MY UCONNECT WAS ACCESSED DURING THE TIME PERIOD MY PHONE WAS HACKED INTO AND I HOOKED IT UP THROUGH CARPLAY OR IF A "LOCK LINK " WAS USED. I'VE DONE MY RESEARCH BECAUSE I THOUGHT ALL THESE WERE ODD AND IT IS NOT UNCOMMON FOR "LOW LIFES" TO GET INTO THESE COMPUTER SYSTEMS. I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH PHONE COMPANY, JEEP FCA CASE MANAGEMENT, APPLE ON THE ISSUES OF MY HACKED PHONE AND UCONNECT SYSTEM.
AFTER GOING THROUGH AN AUTO CAR WASH THE BRAKES FAILED AND THE CAR ROLLED INTO A POLE WHILE PULLING UP TO A VACUUM STATION ABOUT 50 YARDS FROM THE EXIT. I BELIEVE THE ABS SYSTEM NOTIFIED THE CAR THAT IT WAS IN A SLIDE BECAUSE THE REAR WHEELS CONTINUE TO ROTATE WHILE THE FRONT WHEELS ARE NOT ROTATING WHILE BEING PULLED THROUGH THE CAR WASH TRACKS. THEREFORE TRICKING THE SYSTEM INTO THINKING IT SHOULD NOT BRAKE WHEN BRAKES WERE APPLIED.
RADIO NOT WORKING PROBLEM WITH U CONNECT , CAR PARKED IN DRIVEWAY

THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS MAY OVERHEAT AND CAUSE A FIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ELGIN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (1010 E CHICAGO ST, ELGIN, IL 60120, (847) 697-0900) WHERE THEY INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WAS NO FAILURE AND SHE WAS AT FAULT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000.
VEHICLE STRUCT POLE ON PASSENGER SIDE, AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, AND SIDE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE ENTIRE PASSENGER SIDE INCLUDING DOOR INTRUSION INTO THE CABIN. BOTH MAJOR SUPPORT PILLARS WERE BENT AND SIDE WINDOWS SHATTERED.

THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART AND WAS DRIVEN TO TALLAHASSEE DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM FIAT (3987 W TENNESSEE ST, TALLAHASSEE, FL 32304, (844) 280-9221) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,300.
PURCHASED A 2019 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 1 MONTH AGO THAT HAD LESS THAN 3,000 MILES ON IT. YESTERDAY WHEN DRIVING HOME FROM WORK, WE WERE GOING ROUGHLY 40 MILES AN HOUR WHEN THE CAR CAME OUT OF GEAR AND LOST ALL POWER TO THE WHEELS. PULLED THE CAR TO THE SIDE OF THE FREEWAY AND TRANSMISSION LOCKED UP . HAD VEHICLE FLATBEDDED TO DEALERSHIP WHERE THE TRANS HAD TO BE MANUALLY DISENGAGED TO GET OF THE TOW VEHICLE. THIS VEHICLE HAS 4,000 MILES ON IT.
THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW IN MAY 2019 CURRENTLY HAS 2700 MILES ON THE ODOMETER. I WAS TRAVELING ALONG THE HIGHWAY AND BEGAN HEARING A LOUD NOISE THAT SEEMED TO BE EMANATING FROM MY UNDERCARRIAGE. I DROVE TO FIRST OFF-RAMP TO INSPECT AND DISCOVERED A PART OF THE BRAKING SYSTEM HAD BROKEN. THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER DRIVABLE AND HAD TO BE TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP. LATER, THE SERVICE WRITER INFORMED ME THAT A CALIPER HAD BROKEN AND THAT DAMAGES WOULD BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. I WAS NOT PROVIDED WITH A CAUSE FOR THIS FAILURE.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, IT BEGAN BEEPING THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF. I TRIED TURNING TURNING THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON, BUT AS SOON AS I PUT IT INTO DRIVE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME BACK ON AND THE CAR STARTED BEEPING AGAIN. FROM SPEAKING WITH FELLOW JEEP OWNERS (ALL DIFFERENT MODELS) THIS PROBLEM SEEMS PRETTY COMMON AND UNSAFE. THE CAR ONLY HAS 5700 MILES ON IT. TOTALLY UNEXPECTED WHEN SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY ON A BRAND NEW CAR.
27 DAYS AFTER THE PURCHASE OF VEHICLE BATTERY WENT COMPLETELY DEAD AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. ON THE 3RD DAY AFTER THIS REPAIR, " CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT WENT ON
ON SEP 2, 2019 WHILE TRAVELING STRAIGHT AT AROUND 60MPH THE STEERING WHEEL TURNED SLIGHTLY TO THE LEFT AND LOCKED IN THAT POSITION FOR A FEW SECONDS, ALMOST CAUSING A DEADLY CRASH ON THE FREEWAY AS THE VEHICLE ALMOST HIT THE CEMENT DIVIDER. I APPLIED FORCE TO TURN THE WHEEL IN THE OTHER DIRECTION, TO NO AVAIL FOR A FEW SECONDS, BUT THEN WHEN THE WHEEL "UNLOCKED" IT CLICKED AND THE CAR SWERVED TO THE RIGHT, CAUSING US TO ALMOST SPIN AROUND. I HELD THE WHEEL AS STRAIGHT AS I COULD, BUT WE DID GET INTO A COLLISION WHEN THE CAR WAS ALREADY STRAIGHTENING BACK. I REQUESTED MAINTENANCE RECORDS FROM AVIS, THE RENTAL COMPANY, BUT THEY DENIED RELEASING THEM. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE COMPEL THEM TO RELEASE MAINTENANCE RECORDS FOR THIS VEHICLE? WE ALMOST DIED THAT DAY AND THEY WON'T TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE FAULTY STEERING MECHANISM. AVIS IS ACTUALLY ATTEMPTING TO COLLECT MONEY FROM ME FOR THE DAMAGES BUT WON'T RELEASE THE RECORDS. TRANSMISSION SHIFTS HARD AND ROUGH. MAINLY SHUTTERS THE ENTIRE CAR WHEN THE AUTOMATIC TRANS DOWNSHIFTS FROM 3-2-1 GEARS. VERY NOTICABLE FROM 2-1 GEAR. WILL ALMOST SURGE/JUMP THE CAR FROM THESE TWO GEARS. THIS CAN BE A HAZARD AS IF I WAS TO STOP FAST IT WILL JERK THE ENTIRE CAR AND ALMOST LUNGES THE CAR FORWARD WHEN DOING SO. THIS CAR WAS BOUGHT JULY 27TH, 2019, WITH 2K MILES ON IT. TOOK IT INTO THE DEALER AND OF COARSE THEY DENY ANY ISSUE AS THEY WOULD BE OUT THOUSANDS OF LABOR DOLLARS IF THEY WERE TO FIX 1 CAR. SO IT'S TOO EASY FOR THEM TO PASS OFF THAT IT'S FINE.

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE WAS CONTACTED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO LARRY HILLIS CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM FIAT (3211 N WESTWOOD BLVD, POPLAR BLUFF, MO 63901, (573) 785-5769). THE DEALER STATED THAT THE BATTERY WAS SEVERELY DISCHARGED. THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,321.
I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE NEW LAST WEEK AND THE COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM DOESN'T WORK. I RETURNED THE CAR TO COLONIAL DODGE-JEEP IN HUDSON, MA YESTERDAY WITH 130 MILES ON THE CAR THEY VERIFIED THAT DOESN'T WORK, BUT DO NOT HAVE ANY 'FIX' FOR IT.
WHILE WAITING STATIONARY TO TURN ON A CITY STREET, THE CAR WAS IN THE AUTO START/STOP MODE. AS SOON AS I TOOK MY FOOT OF THE BRAKE TO BEGIN TURNING, THE CAR COMPLETELY SHUT OFF AND STARTED FLASHING WARNGING LIGHTS AND CYCLING THROUGH SEVERAL WARNINGS LIKE FCW INDICATOR DISABLED. THE CAR ALSO TOLD ME THE LANE DEPARTURE SENSOR WAS TURNED OFF AS WELL. THE CAR CONTINUED TO FLASH THESE LIGHTS AND CYCLE THROUGH MULTIPLE OTHER WARNINGS AND REFUSED TO SHUT OFF. AT ONE POINT THE CAR EVEN TURNED ON THE WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADES BY ITSELF.

TOOK IT BACK THE NEXT DAY. I WAS TOLD IT WAS A FACTORY DEFECT. PAINT OVERSPRAY, LOOSE WIRING. THEY FIXED THAT. IT LASTED A FEW DAYS. THEN AS I WAS ABOUT TO LEAVE TOWN. I GOT THE MESSAGE AGAIN. I WAS TOLD IT WAS OK TO DRIVE. SO I DID..TODAY I TOOK IT BACK IN. NOW THE DEALERSHIP IS TRYING TO GET ME TO TRADE MY CAR. WHICH WILL COST ME MORE MONRY. WE SHOULDNT HAVE TO PAY ANYMORE MONEY OUT OF POCKET..AND OUR PYTS WILL GO UP. THIS MESSAGE HAPPENS AS CAR IS MOVING. ITS SUPPOSED TO BE RAISING UP.

STOP/START SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT WHEN THE CAR WAS STATIONARY AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT THE CAR TURNS OFF AT STOP LIGHT AND DOES NOT RESTART AS IT IS SUPPOSED TO WHEN THE ACCELERATOR IS PUSHED. ALL ITEMS ON THE SHIFT INDICATOR BEGIN TO FLASH. CAR MUST BE TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED. THE STOP/START SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT STAYS ON. THIS HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES AND IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.
THE JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE CAME WITH 20 INCH TIRES. THE "FULL SIZE SPARE" IS ONLY 18 INCH. THE INTERNET SAYS HAVING 2 DIFFERENT SIZE TIRES CAN BE DANGEROUS FOR DRIVING AND /OR DAMAGING TO THE DIFFERENTIAL. JEEP SHOULD BE MADE TO GIVE A VALID FULL SIZE SPARE TIRE. THE CUSTOMER HAS TO PAY EXTRA FOR THE 'FULL SIZE SPARE'.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND ASSIGNED A CASE MANAGER. THE MANUFACTURER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 350.
CONTINUALLY GETTING LOW VOLTAGE ISSUES DESPITE HAVING IT "FIXED" AT THE DEALER. PARKING BRAKE WON'T TURN OFF.
THE GAS PEDAL BECAME STUCK WHEN I WAS DRIVING AROUND LOCAL STREETS. I WAS STOPPING MY TRUCK BECAUSE I WAS COMING UP TO AN INTERSECTION. WHEN I LIFTED MY FOOT FROM THE GAS PEDAL IT DID NOT COME UP. ALMOST AS IF THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS ENGAGED. IT WAS SCARY AND I WENT A LITTLE TOO FAR INTO THE INTERSECTION WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE.
DUE TO ISSUES WITH RADIO'S CORE SOFTWARE, THE DISPLAY OF THE CAR WHICH CONTROL ALL VITAL FUNCTIONS OF THE CAR INCLUDING TEMPERATURE CONTROL GOES INACCESSIBLE WHILE CAR IS IN MOTION. IT IS ACCESSIBLE ONLY WHEN CAR COMES TO A COMPLETE STOP AND SOFTWARE IS ALLOWED TO REBOOT WHICH TAKES MORE THAN 20 MINUTES. THIS IS SO AGAINST THE SAFETY BECAUSE THE MAIN CORE CONTROLLING UNIT OF THE CAR IS OF NO USE DUE TO THIS PROBLEM. THERE IS NO DEFINITE SOLUTION AND ANSWER BY THE DEALERSHIP, SERVICE BRANCH, UNCONNECT CUSTOMER CARE AND STAR TICKET SYSTEM. THE CAR GOT INTO THIS ISSUE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF LEASING IT AND IS A BRAND NEW 2019 MODEL.

THE AC DOES NOT STAY COLD. IT CYCLES FROM COLD TO LIKE WARM AND HUMID SEVERAL TIMES PER MINUTE. I HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE IN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES. THEY HAVE DRAINED AND RECHARGED THE AC TO NO AVAIL. THEY HAVE TOLD ME OTHER CUSTOMERS COMPLAIN OF THE SAME THING IN THE 2019S. IT HAPPENS WHILE THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY AND IN MOTION. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE THAT NO FIX HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED FOR.
I purchased a 2019 grand Cherokee and the radio started to delaminating. Called Jeep cares and they told me if I went and got a diagnostic saying that The screen was delaminating, and I got a diagnostic that said that they would put it in the system and it would be covered was ever said to me about a warranty because I’m over my warranty, but I have an extended warranty through Lafontaine. It’s called easy care and when they told me that I was excited because, I was gonna get my radio fixed because the radio is the main brains to the car controls the camera on the phone or settings. I’ll have to get diagnostic. I called to make sure that was in the system and the lady told me that they changed the policy and that they would not cover it. The company knows all those radios that they put in those cars are defective and they are replacing them, but they’re giving people a hard time that don’t have a warranty and the fact that I was told it would be taken care of they should be held accountable to their word it’s a contract, even if it was verbal. And spreading, and that means that that radio can take control of my car is a getting somebody hurt or myself. It is very distracting the screen where it’s peeling on the inside.. Lafontaine told me Carol warranty and insinuated it was going to be covered. That’s why I had to drive all the way up to Fenton to get the diagnostic done there and then once I did the diagnostic, they said there was no warranty and the dealership does not want to help me out of her hands Somebody has to be accountable for him. Jeep knows about the defective products and . Several people gone through the same thing. They would rather make people come to them and then try to collect all this money for their defective product. It was the beginning of September when I called and I talked to somebody from customer care a About the Jeep. I’m finally complaints with whoever I can until they fix my radio like they told me they were going to do
serious safety defect that has remains unremedied since recall Z48 (FCA 22V‑426) issued in 2022. This defect, addressed again in recall 94B (FCA 24V‑838), continues to disable the electronic stability control, making the vehicle unsafe to operate. FCA has had considerable time for the opportunity to fix since the first recall, and defective conditions were not repaired and still exist. FCA has been very dismissive with the several complaints I’ve field. I’ve been promised call backs every step of the way, even specific time frames and still have had to chase them down when I am not responded to. FCA issued “do not sell” orders on November 14, 2024, preventing me from trading or selling the vehicle without significant financial loss. I cannot accept any further proposed fixes, since no effective repair exists, and the vehicle remains dangerous.
94b - 3rd complaint 14 Months with no fix. Car actively malfunctions since Jan 2025 e.g. disabled esc. Federally non complaint. Unsafe. It has now been a year since my vehicle started experiencing symptoms. FCA US LLC refuses to communicate with me. Took to dealer 12/16 and now the part is available after a year of nothing available and needs to be ordered supposedly. A month later and I have still not received an appt for the parts that should have come in. Againnlwaving me in a federally non compliant vehicle for a year. FCA has not contacted me “.
