There are 2 owner-reported driver assist & adas complaints for the 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneerin NHTSA's database. These are unverified consumer reports and may not reflect confirmed defects.
AEB system engaged emergency braking for no apparent reason when traveling at >35mph on a busy road with the flow of traffic. My face actually hit the steering wheel and a car traveling behind me barely stopped in time to avoid rear ending me. The AEB system has repeatedly displayed warning lights in the dash previously. For each occurrence, the vehicle was serviced at the dealership and reassurances were provided each time that the underlying issue was remedied with reprogramming and/or replacement of electrical control modules, however the recurrent nature of the issue (and many other issues surrounding the electrical system in my Grand Wagoneer) doesn't instill confidence in the "fix" they're providing. At this point in time, I don't feel safe driving my Grand Wagoneer, as I don't know when the vehicle will involuntarily slam on the brakes in traffic and cause an accident.
Blindspot indicator keeps turning on and off, distracting the driver. Have taken vehicle to dealer many times they say it can’t be fixed even though it was during Warranty. They say a jeep is aware, but no plan to fix.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
