I HAD BEEN HEARING GRINDING NOISES FROM THE FRONT OF MY JEEP; STILL UNDER 3/YR WARRANTY- I BROUGHT IT IN TO THE DEALERSHIP. AT FIRST THEY DID NOT HEAR OR SEE ANY CONCERNS AND STATED THE NOISE WAS MY TIRES. OF COURSE IT WAS SUGGESTED TO GET MY TIRES REPLACED ESPECIALLY MY FRONT RIGHT DUE TO THE UNEVEN WEAR. SO I DID, SOUND CONTINUED TO BECOME MORE CONSISTENT- I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY FOUND MY CONTROL ARMS, AND BALL JOINTS TO BE BAD. SAME PROBLEM IS OCCURRING AGAIN- TOOK IT BACK TO DEALER- THEY DID NOT SEE/HEAR ANY PROBLEMS AND NOW I HAVE A CLUNKING NOISE LOUDER THAN THE GRINDING NOISE. I'M CONCERNED THIS IS A SAFETY PROBLEM AND I DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO TAKE TO DEALERSHIP AGAIN- NOT TO MENTION I FEEL I'VE ALREADY PAID FOR THIS PROBLEM ONCE TO BE FIXED. *TR
HAD VEHICLE IN FOR OIL CHANGE AND WAS TOLD BE DEALER THAT BOTH LOWER BALL JOINTS AND TIE ROD ENDS WERE "WORE OUT" AND WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. OH AND THE BALL JOINTS ARE "BUILT IN TO THE LOWER CONTROL ARM, SO BOTH LOWER CONTROL ARMS NEED TO BE REPLACED" THIS IS ON A VEHICLE THAT HAS ONLY 43,500 MILES ON IT! HOW CAN THIS BE! THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ON THIS BECAUSE IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THIS IS HAPPENING TO A HUGE NUMBER OF JEEP PATRIOT OWNERS AND THESE PART SHOULD LAST WAY LONGER THEN 43,000 MILES. THIS IS POOR QUALITY PARTS! THE OWNERS OF THESE VEHICLES SHOULD NOT BE EXPECTED TO REPLACE THESE MAJOR SUSPENSION PART EVER 40,000 TO 45,000 MILES! THE COST OF THIS IS OVER $1,000.00. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS ISSUE AND DEFINITELY MAKES THE VEHICLE UNSAFE. *TR
AT 58,200 MILES, ALL HIGHWAY/CITY DRIVING, THE RIGHT FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT ON THE VEHICLE WENT BAD. AFTER CONSULTING WITH MULTIPLE OWNERS OF THE PATRIOT, IT SEEMS TO BE A WIDESPREAD ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE. *TR
WE BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE FOR OUR SON, WHO IS OFF AT COLLEGE. TRAVELING THRU KANSAS ON I-70 RETURNING FROM VACATION, THE TRANSMISSION OVERHEATED. VEHICLE SLOWED TO 20 MPH IN TRAFFIC WITH NO WARNING. HAD TO DRIVE ON SHOULDER TO EXIT RAMP AND LET THE TRANSMISSION COOLED DOWN. TOOK IT TO DEALER AND THEY COULD NOT FIND ANY DIAGNOSTIC CODES, SO THEY COULDN'T FIX IT. THIS HAS HAPPENED 5 MORE TIMES SINCE THEN. MOST RECENTLY, TRAVELING IN 25 DEGREE WEATHER AT 70 MPH. TOOK IT BACK TO DEALER AND WAS TOLD THEY COULDN'T FIX IT. FINALLY, THEY ADMITTED THAT HE CVT TRANSMISSION IS THE PROBLEM, BUT THEY WON'T FIX IT. CHRYSLER NEEDS TO STEP UP THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FIX THEIR POORLY DESIGNED VEHICLES. BUT THEY ARE UNWILLING TO WORK WITH THE CUSTOMER. THE VEHICLE RESALE VALUE IS IN THE TANK BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION FOR ANY BODY DRIVING THIS VEHICLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 JEEP PATRIOT 4X4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SIDE TIRE BECAME FLAT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS ADVISED TO THE CONTACT THAT THE VALVES STEMS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED ON ALL FOUR TIRES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 25,000. *TR
HAD TO REPLACE BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS AND BALL JOINTS AT 57000 MILES. AND HAD TO HAVE IT LINED UP AGAIN. TOTAL COST 980.00 THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL. *TR
2008 PATRIOT FAILED INSPECTION 1 YEAR AFTER BUYING IT PRE-OWNED LOWER CONTROL ARM-$241.52 OUTTER TIE ROD 74.78 FRONT END REPAIR- 153.00 ALIGNMENT 79.95
SEVERE STEERING WHEEL VIBRATION AT ELEVATED SPEED. FRONT BALL JOINTS SHOT AND CANNOT BE SERVICED DUE TO DESIGN. REPLACED FRONT LEFT AND FRONT RIGHT LOWER CONTROL ARMS, PLUS 2 TIRES WITH ONLY 11K MILES. PROBLEM APPEARS TO BE SUDDEN/RAPID DETERIORATION AND CATASTROPHIC FAILURE SINCE ALL 4 TIRES WERE REPLACED AT 50K MILES WITH ZERO EVIDENCE OF ABNORMAL WEAR AND NO STEERING ISSUES. VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN WRECKED OR DRIVEN OFF-ROAD. NUMEROUS JEEP FORUMS AND BLOGS WITH COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE 2008 JEEP PATRIOT FRONT SUSPENSION. LOCAL JEEP DEALER SERVICE MANAGER CLAIMED NEVER SEEN THIS ISSUE BEFORE OR REPLACED ANY LOWER CONTROL ARMS ON THIS YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL. HAD WORK DONE AT INDEPENDENT GARAGE SINCE DEALER SERVICE MANAGER WAS APPARENTLY NOT TELLING THE TRUTH OR WITHHOLDING FACTS. *TR
THIS PROBLEM FIRST HAPPENED A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH. IT WAS SUMMERTIME AND IT WAS ABOUT 80 DEGREES. I HAD BOUGHT THE VEHICLE USED ABOUT 6 MONTHS EARLIER IN THE FALL. AS I WAS DRIVING THE ENGINE BEGAN TO MAKE A "WHINING OUT" NOISE AND SUDDENLY BEGAN TO LOSE POWER. A LIGHT CAME ON THE DASH AREA AND MY SPEED SUDDENLY DROPPED DOWN TO ABOUT 40 MPH AND I WAS LOSING POWER TO KEEP UP WITH TRAFFIC. A TRACTOR TRAILER THAT WAS TRAVELING BEHIND ME HAD TO SLAM ON HIS BRAKES AND ALMOST LOST CONTROL FROM TRYING TO AVOID RUNNING INTO THE BACK OF THE CAR. I PULLED OFF THE INTERSTATE AND CALLED A TOW TRUCK. AFTER WAITING A COUPLE OF HOURS AND LETTING THE ENGINE COOL DOWN, I STARTED THE CAR BACK UP WHEN THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER HAD ARRIVED. HE TOLD ME THAT THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION OVERHEATING AND CAUSES THE ENGINE TO LOSE POWER UNTIL IT COOLS. I TOOK THE CAR TO MY LOCAL JEEP DEALERSHIP AND PAID $100.00 FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WHICH DID NOT REVEAL ANY OTHER PROBLEM OTHER THAN WHAT I HAD EXPERIENCED. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THAT THE LIGHT THAT CAME ON IN "NORMAL" AND IS EXPLAINED IN THE OPERATING MANUAL. THEY EXPLAINED THAT IT IS "NORMAL" FOR THIS TO HAPPEN AND THERE WASNT ANY DEFECT OR ANYWAY TO FIX IT. SINCE THAT TIME MY CAR HAS DONE THIS CONTINUOUSLY IN HOT WEATHER WHEN I AM TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY. IT HAS BECOME DANGEROUS FOR ME TO TRAVEL ON THE HIGHWAY AND RISK BREAKING DOWN ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD OR BEING COLLIDED WITH.
MY JEEP PATRIOT NEEDED FRONT BALL JOINTS AND CONTROL ARMS REPLACED AT 32,000 MILES. IT HAS NEVER BEEN DRIVEN RECKLESSLY OR EVEN OFF ROAD. IT WAS A $1,045.00 REPAIR JOB. THE MECHANIC SAID IT WAS A HAZARD TO DRIVE. THE JEEP FORUMS ARE ALIVE WITH COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE EXACT SAME REPAIR EARLY ON. THIS IS AN EXCESSIVE REPAIR AND A DANGER. WHILE TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEED (70 MPH) IN MICHIGAN, THE CVT TRANSMISSION OVERHEAT WARNING LIGHT CAME ON. AFTER A FEW MILES, THE JEEP WOULD NOT GO FASTER THAN ABOUT 45 MPH. THIS IS A REAL SAFETY HAZARD WHEN EVERYONE ON THE HIGHWAY IS DRIVING 70 MPH OR MORE. AFTER PULLING OVER FOR 30 MINUTES, THE LIGHT DID NOT REAPPEAR WHEN THE JEEP WAS RESTARTED, BUT RPMS HAD TO BE KEPT BELOW 2100 TO AVOID THE OVERHEAT LIGHT COMING ON AGAIN. THIS LOW RPM LIMITED SPEED TO ABOUT 55 MPH ON FLAT TERRAIN. THE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN IN PA ON THE RETURN TRIP, SPEED WAS RESTRICTED AS BEFORE, AND THE WARNING LIGHT DID NOT REAPPEAR AFTER RESTARTING THE JEEP AFTER A 30 MINUTE REST STOP. HOWEVER, KEEPING RPMS BELOW 2100 ON THE PA TURNPIKE RESULTED IN A TOP SPEED OF ONLY ABOUT 45 MPH, A REAL HAZARD WHEN EVEN TRUCKS ARE GOING MUCH FASTER. FIRST DEALER FOUND THE FAULT CODE OF 0208 AND DID A SOFTWARE UPDATE TO THE PCM. THE PROBLEM HAPPENED AGAIN. THE SECOND DEALER COULD NOT FIND THE TRANSMISSION OVERHEAT CODE BECAUSE IT WAS NOT SAVED. THE DEALER HAD THE VEHICLE FOR 4 DAYS AND SAID THE TRANSMISSION WAS NOT SERVICEABLE AND HAD A LIFETIME FLUID. THE DEALER SAID TO BRING THE JEEP RIGHT BACK IN IF THE PROBLEM OCCURRED AGAIN SO THAT THE CODE WOULD BE STORED. THE PROBLEM HAPPENED AGAIN AND THE JEEP WAS BROUGHT DIRECTLY TO THE DEALER. THIS TIME THE DEALER FOUND THE 0208 TRANSMISSION OVERHEAT CODE. AFTER 5 DAYS OF WAITING, THE VISITING CHRYSLER TECH SAID TO OPEN THE TRANSMISSION AND REPLACE THE FLUID. THE TWO JEEP DEALERS SEEMED TO BE COMPLETELY CONFUSED ABOUT WHETHER THIS CVT TRANSMISSION HAS LIFETIME FLUID OR WHETHER IT COULD BE SERVICED. THE CVT TRANSMISSION ON THIS 2008 PATRIOT HAS A LIFETIME WARRANTY, BUT CHRYSLER APPEARS TO HAVE NO INTEREST IN REPLACING IT EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD. INTERNET SEARCHES SHOW OTHER OWNERS OF CHRYSLER VEHICLES WITH CVT TRANSMISSIONS HAVE HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM. *TR
ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHILE TRAVELING ON HWY AT 75 MPH TRANSMISSION HEATS UP, LIGHT ON INSTRUMENT PANEL AND INSTANTLY LOSES POWER CAUSING VEHICLES AROUND ME TO SWERVE TO AVOID REAR RENDING MY 2008 JEEP PATRIOT. VEHICLE WILL NOT ACCELERATE MAKING IT EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO PULL OUT OF TRAFFIC. THIS COMPROMISED THE SAFETY OF MY PARENTS CHILDREN AND I. TOOK TO JEEP DEALERSHIP AND ADVISE OF INCIDENTS I WAS TOLD THERE WERE NO CODES AND WOULD NOT REPAIR MY VEHICLE. *TR
ON THURSDAY THE 15TH OF JUNE 2012, I WAS DRIVING MY 2008 JEEP PATRIOT. THERE WAS NO HINT OF TROUBLE. I STOPPED FOR A LIGHT. WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN, I TRIED TO PUT THE JEEP IN FIRST GEAR. THE CLUTCH PEDAL WENT STRAIGHT TO THE FLOOR ALTHOUGH THE GEAR DID TAKE SUFFICIENTLY FOR ME TO MOVE THE CAR TO SAFETY. I CALLED AAA AND HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO BAXTER JEEP CHRYSLER, WHERE I HAD PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IN 2009. . I TOLD THEM THAT THE CLUTCH HAD SHOWN NO SLIPPAGE OR OTHER SIGNS OF IMPENDING FAILURE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 47,000. ON MONDAY, THEY FOUND THAT THE RELEASE BEARING/SLAVE CYLINDER HAD FAILED AND THAT FLUID HAD LEAKED FROM THE SLAVE CYLINDER INTO THE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY, WHICH COULD NOT BE CLEANED EFFECTIVELY. THEY STATED THAT THE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY ITSELF HAD TO BE REPLACED ALONG WITH THE SLAVE CYLINDER.THE COST OF THE REPAIR WAS $1338.56. IN THAT MODEL YEAR, I WAS TOLD THAT I HAD A LIFETIME WARRANTY ON THE POWER TRAIN. THE CHRYSLER REPRESENTATIVE CLAIMED THAT THE SLAVE CYLINDER WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY BECAUSE IT WAS CONSIDERED PART OF THE CLUTCH. I DISAGREE. ALTHOUGH THE SLAVE CYLINDER SUBSERVES THE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY, IT IS PART OF THE POWER HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND SHOULD BE COVERED BY THE WARRANTY. 1) CHRYSLER IS NOT HONORING THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY. 2) THERE IS A SERIOUS SAFETY DESIGN ISSUE WHEN THE HYDRAULIC COMPONENT CAN LEAK DIRECTLY INTO THE CLUTCH, IMMEDIATELY DESTROYING ITS FUNCTION. THE FAILURE OF THE CLUTCH WAS SUDDEN AND UNPREDICTABLE. THERE ARE SEVERAL POSTS ON INTERNET RAISING IDENTICAL ISSUES ABOUT THE JEEP DESIGN AND FAILURE TO HONOR THE SERVICE GUARANTEE. I AM RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING REDRESS, TO INCLUDE REFUND OF THE COST OF THE REPAIR, AND AN INVESTIGATION OF THE SAFETY OF JEEPS EQUIPPED WITH THE CURRENT MANUAL TRANSMISSION. *TT
FRONT END SUSPENSION PARTS WERE WORN AND ABOUT TO FAIL. REPLACED LEFT AND RIGHT LOWER CONTROL ARMS, SWAY BAR BUSHINGS, SWAY BAR LINKS,BUSHING SWAY ELIMINATOR. FURTHER DRIVING WOULD HAVE CAUSED CATASTROPHIC FAILURE OF FRONT END. *TR I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY, WITH THE LARGE NUMBER OF SUSPENSION ISSUES THE PATRIOTS HAVE NOT BEEN RECALLED. ALL OF THE FAILURES ARE OCCURING AT VERY LOW MILEAGES AND BOTH FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION ELEMENTS ARE FAILING. ALL SUGGESTING DEFECTIVE PARTS USED IN ORIGINAL MANUFACTURE.
DRIVER SIDE, FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARM AND BALL JOINT BADLY WORN. WAS TOLD BY CAR DEALER THE PROBLEM IS VERY COMMON WITH JEEP PATRIOTS. THE DEALER SEES THIS MANUFACTURING DEFECT SO OFTEN. THEY KEEP SEVERAL DRIVER SIDE LCA/BALLJOINT ASSEMBLIES IN STOCK. *TR
I PURCHASED A USED JEEP PATRIOT WITH 32,952 MILES ON IT. PREVIOUS OWNER HAD BEEN TOLD TO REPLACE FRONT LOWER BALL JOINTS. I WAS TOLD THE FRONT WHEELS COULD FALL OFF AT ANY TIME. DEALERSHIP REPLACED THEM FOR ME ALONG WITH ROTORS. ORIGINAL TIRES HAD TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE OF DEFECTIVE BALL JOINTS, BUT THE NEW ONES ARE ALREADY SHOWING WEAR.THE DEALER & 2 OTHER SHOPS SAID WITH SUCH LOW MILEAGE IT SHOULD NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM. AFTER BALL JOINTS/ROTORS WERE REPLACED THE PROBLEM WAS WORSE. NOT ONLY WAS A BALL JOINT STILL BAD BUT I WAS TOLD THAT BOTH CONTROL ARMS ARE BAD AND NEED REPLACED. NOW, AFTER BEING REPLACED ONCE (NOW JUST OVER 33,400 MILES ON THE JEEP) I AM TOLD IT IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE OVER ABOUT 40MPH BECAUSE STILL A WHEEL COULD FALL OFF. *TR
TIRE VALVE STEM BROKE WHILE THE TIRE PRESSURE WAS BEING CHECKED. THIS OCCURRED DURING AN OIL CHANGE SERVICE. THE BROKEN VALVE STEM/TPMS SENSOR REQUIRED MY COMPANY TO PAY FOR REPAIRS. I AM FILING THIS CLAIM ON BEHALF OF OUR CUSTOMER.

SINCE THE PURCHASE OF THIS USED 2008 JEEP PATRIOT IN 2011 IT WILL STALL AND SHUT OFF AFTER FILLING UP THE TANK; THEN AFTER THE VEHICLE IS RESTARTED IT FUNCTIONS AS USUAL; A FEW TIMES IT RE-STALLED A SECOND TIME AFTER FILLING UP AND THEN WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED. NOTE, I DID NOT OVER FILL THE TANK. I DID INQUIRE ABOUT RECALLS FOR THE 2008 JEEP PATRIOT FOR THIS ISSUE BUT WAS INFORMED THERE WERE NONE. ALSO NO JEEP DEALERSHIP OR OTHER DEALERSHIP COULD FIX THE ISSUE. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS WHEN THIS FIRST INSTANCE THIS OCCURRED, I WAS HEADING INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC WHEN IT STALLED ON ME AND I ALMOST GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT. I FOUND ON JEEPPATRIOT.COM A FORUM WHERE MANY PURCHASER'S OF 2008 JEEP PATRIOTS REPORT THIS ISSUE WITH NO RESOLVE, ONLY AN ENTRY FROM 1/23/15 NOTED THEIR MECHANIC SAID IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE ROLLOVER VALVE MEANING THE ENTIRE TANK HAD TO BE REPLACED. CONSIDERING THE SAFETY ISSUE OF A MOVING VEHICLE STALLING OUT AFTER FILLING UP, AND THE ISSUE BEING CONSISTENT WITH THE 2008 JEEP PATRIOT MODEL, I'M ASKING FOR INSPECTION INTO THIS ISSUE AND FOR A RECALL TO BE ISSUED WITH WHATEVER IS THE ISSUE WITH THE FUEL SYSTEM/TANK. THIS ISSUE HAS CONTINUED OVER THE DURATION OF ME HAVING MY VEHICLE. NOW MORE RECENTLY MY VEHICLE HAS A CODE FOR AN EVAP LEAK, AND WHEN PUMPING THE GAS TANK WON'T TAKE THE FUEL. I'M TAKING IT TO A JEEP DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS, BUT AM NOT SURE IF ITS RELATED TO THE AFOREMENTIONED STALLING OUT ISSUE.

I HAVE READ MANY OTHER PEOPLE ON HERE WITH THE SAME ISSUE AND MY MECHANIC SAID MY MODEL JEEP WAS KNOWN FOR THIS, BUT AFTER HITTING A CURB MY WHEEL AND SUSPENSION PARTS HOLDING IT ON LET THE FRONT RIGHT TIRE, RIM AND ALL FALL COMPLETELY OFF. AFTER GETTING IT TO THE MECHANIC AND HAVING HIM PUTTING IT ON THE LIFT HE TOLD ME I COULDN'T DRIVE THE CAR EVEN AFTER THE FRONT RIGHT WAS FIXED B/C THE CAR WAS A DANGER TO MYSELF AND OTHERS. I WAS TOLD THE FRONT BALL JOINTS WHICH HOLD THE SUSPENSION TOGETHER AND KEEP THE WHEELS ON THE TIRES WERE COMPLETELY WORN OUT AND THE TIRES COULD FALL OFF AT ANY MOMENT. HE TOLD ME HE HAD THIS ISSUE MANY TIMES WITH MY MODEL CAR AND DIDN'T UNDERSTAND IT. I BOUGHT THE CAR USED A YEAR AND HALF AGO WITH 45,000 MILES OR SO. ONCE THE MECHANIC DID CHANGE THE BALL JOINTS, HE TOLD ME SOMETHING EVEN WORSE... HE COULD TELL SINCE THEY WERE NOT FACTORY BALL JOINTS, THAT THEY HAD ALREADY BEEN REPLACED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER. WHENEVER I USE MY HEATER IT LEAKS A LOT OF WATER ALL OVER THE DRIVERS FEET AND PASSENGERS FEET. ALSO, IT LEAKS SO MUCH THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY HEAR THE WATER SWISHING FROM SIDE TO SIDE BEHIND THE DASH WHEN YOU TAKE A TURN. THIS WATER IS VERY HOT AND GIVES YOU A SHOCKING SENSATION WHEN IT DRIPS ON YOU. THE DEALER INDICATED THE VEHICLE WAS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE FOR ANY EXTENDED MILES. THERE WAS AT LEAST 1/2" PLAY IN THE WHEELS. THE PARTS HAVE NOW BEEN REPLACED. PREVIOUS INSPECTION & TIRE ROTATION AT ABOUT 25,000 MILES AND 2 1/2 MONTHS AGO INDICATED NO SUSPENSION PROBLEMS. THE ONLY CLUE TO THE PROBLEM WAS SOME 'CLUNKING' NOISE IN THE FRONT END WHEN GOING OVER BUMPS. THIS VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW, HAS BEEN SERVICED REGULARLY BY THE SELLING DEALER, IS DRIVEN EXCLUSIVELY ON THE ROAD, AND HAS BEEN IN NO ACCIDENTS. BOTH OUTER TIE ROD ENDS, RIGHT LOWER CONTROL ARM BOTH FAILED AT 45,000 MILES NOT COVERED ON EXTENDED WARRANTY BECAUSE IT WAS NOT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AT THE TIME. NEVER BUY A EXTENDED WARRANTY IT COVERS NOTHING IT IS A COMPLETE AND TOTAL RIPOFF. COST $599.18 FOR A PROBLEM THAT THEY KNEW ABOUT. *TR
