Occasionally, all dashboard lights will come and and flicker, the dome light and all interior lights will flicker as well for a few seconds. I believe the Jeep is affected by the clockspring issue covered by S40 / NHTSA 16V-288. However, because my VIN is not connected with this recall, no manufacturer service center will address it.

RIGHT REAR TAIL LIGHT NOT WORKING PROPERLY. ORIGINALLY IT WOULD WORK INTERMITTENTLY (WHEN I FIRST NOTICED THIS ISSUE) BUT NOW ITS NOT WORKING AT ALL(NO TAIL LIGHT, NO BLINKER). BULB IS GOOD(HAS BEEN CHANGED), FUSE IS GOOD ETC. I BELIEVE THERE MAY BE A GROUNDING OR WIRING HARNESS ISSUE BASED OFF THE DIAGNOSTICS I HAVE DONE. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY WHEN TRYING TO TROUBLE SHOOT THIS ISSUE.

CLOCK SPRING BROKEN WITH NO PERTINENT DAMAGE TO VEHICLE OR PERTINENT EVENTS, WOKE UP ONE MORNING AND THE ENTIRE STEELING COLUMN DIDN'T WORK ELECTRICALLY.
