THE SWAY BAR DOES NOT STAY LOCKED HAS NOT SINCE I GOT THE JEEP RUBICON NEW IN 2015 AND I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET THE DEALER WHERE I GOT THE JEEP FROM TO FIX IT. THERE IS A SWITCH ON THE DASH TO LOCK AND UNLOCK THE SWAY BAR AND A LIGHT ON THE DASH THAT SAYS THAT THE SWAY BAR IS UNLOCKED, THE LIGHT IS NOT ON BUT THE SWAY BAR IS UNLOCKED AND THE JEEP IS VERY UNSTABLE WHEN TRYING TO DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY AND EVEN THE STREET IT VERY BOUNCY AND WHEN TURNING A COUNTER AT A NORMAL RATE OF SPEED THE TIRES COME OFF THE GROUND. THE SWAY BAR WILL NOT LOCK NO MATTER WHAT WE DO IT JUST COMES UNLOCKED AS SOON AS I START DRIVING. IT IS VERY UNSAFE. HAVING THE SWAY BAR UNLOCKED IS FOR OFF-ROAD OR ROCK CRAWLING NOT DRIVING ON THE NORMAL ROAD OR HIGHWAY.
MY WIFE ARRIVE AT WORK AT 2 PM PARKED THE JEEP WRANGLER 2015 AROUND 8 PM THE ENGINE CAUGHT FIRE SECURITY GUARDS TRIED TO TURN OFF THE FIRE BUT COULD NOT LATER ARRIVED FIRE DEPARMENT AND THEY EXTINGUISHED
THERE IS A DISTINCT DELAY BETWEEN PRESSING THE HORN BUTTON (STEERING WHEEL) AND ACTIVATION/SOUNDING OF THE HORN. THIS DELAY CAN BE OVER 1 SECOND. THIS HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO THE DEALERSHIP'S ATTENTION. THEY CLAIM THAT IT IS WORKING PROPERLY, WHEN CLEARLY IT IS NOT. MANY TIMES, I HAVE TRIED TO "BEEP" THE HORN TO EITHER AVOID AN INCIDENT, OR OTHERWISE, AND IT HAS NEVER REACTED AS NECESSARY.
JEEP STARTS VIBARATING AT 1500 RPM AS SOON AS IT SHIFTS INTO 4TH GEAR ( MOAN GROAN BAD BEARING OUT OF BALANCE) AT 58MPH 2000 RPM ITS QUITE NOTICEABLE AT 65 MPH 2200RPM ITS BAD IT DOES IT ON ALL ROAD SURFACES ITS BEEN THIS WAY SINCE NEW.
WHILE DRIVING AT CITY SPEEDS, JEEP SUDDENLY SHIFTS INTO FIRST GEAR, CAUSING VEHICLES BEHIND ME TO SUDDENLY SWERVE IN ORDER TO AVOID HITTING MY VEHICLE. I PURCHASED THE JEEP IN APRIL 2015, AND IT HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE I'VE OWNED THE VEHICLE. I HAVE HAD THIS IN THE DEALERSHIP FOUR TIMES AND THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM. THEY HAVE REPLACED THE CONSOLE SHIFT, DID UPDATES AND RE-PROGRAMMED THE TIRES. THIS HAS OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY SINCE I'VE OWNED THE VEHICLE AND THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OR TELL ME WHY IT OCCURS. IT MAKES ME NERVOUS TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AND I AM AFRAID FOR THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY AND I. I'VE BEEN IN A LOANER FOR 2 WEEKS NOW AND THEY WANT ME TO COME PICK UP MY VEHICLE. I FEAR FOR THE SAFETY OF ME AND ANYONE IN MY VEHICLE SHOULD I BE HIT FROM BEHIND.
I TURNED THE KEY TO START MY VEHICLE AND NOTHING HAPPENED, NO LIGHTS ON THE DASH, NO 'DING', NOTHING. DEALERSHIP MECHANICS AND TECHNICIANS WORKED FOR TWO DAYS TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM AND FINALLY DISCOVERED THAT IT WAS A FAULTY TIPM.
2015 JEEP WRANGLER ONLY HAD 10,000 MILES CAUGHT ON FIRE AND BURNED TOTAL LOSS JUST PULLED INTO DRIVEWAY AT RESIDENCE
DEFECTIVE CAR DOOR LOCKING SYSTEMS SPORADICALLY FAILS TO PROPERLY FUNCTION. UNLOCKING MODE IS INOPERABLE AT TIMES. THIS DEFECT OCCURS AT ALL TIMES WHETHER THE JEEP IS STATIONARY OR IN MOTION. I HAVE BROUGHT THE JEEP FOR REPAIRS NUMEROUS TIMES AND WAS ADVISED BY THE DEALERSHIP THAT IT COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX THIS ISSUE. THE JEEP HAS BEEN BROUGHT IN FOR SERVICE AT LEAST FOUR TIMES DUE TO THE LOCKING SYSTEM. ON THE LAST SERVICE DATE, I WAS ADVISED AFTER MY JEEP HAD BEEN IN THE REPAIR SHOP FOR A MONTH, THAT THE INOPERABLE LOCKING DOOR MECHANISM WAS A SAFETY FEATURE DESPITE IT NOT APPEARING AS A SAFETY FEATURE IN THE OWNER'S MANUAL GUIDE. I REQUESTED FROM THE MANUFACTURE DOCUMENTATION VERIFYING THAT THE INOPERABLE LOCKING MECHANISM WAS A SAFETY FEATURE. AT THIS TIME, MANUFACTURE HAS FAILED TO PROVIDE ANY DOCUMENTATION CONFIRMING THAT THE INOPERABLE LOCKING MECHANISM IS A SAFETY FEATURE.
ENGINE PROBLEMS: STARTING SUMMER 2015 ENGINE SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING, ACCELERATING, SLOWING DOWN, STOPPED ENGINE WILL NOT GO BACK INTO GEAR ENGINE LOSES POWER WHEN ACCELERATING OR CRUISING BROUGHT INTO DEALERSHIP (PURCHASE LOCATION) APPROXIMATELY AUGUST 19TH 2015 RELEASED SEPTEMBER 2ND 2015 PROBLEMS PERSISTED BROUGHT INTO DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP APPROXIMATELY SEPTEMBER 14TH 2015 RELEASED APPROXIMATELY SEPTEMBER 26TH PROBLEMS PERSISTED BROUGHT INTO DEALERSHIP SEPTEMBER 30TH 2015 STILL IN CUSTODY AS OF OCTOBER 8TH ON SEPTEMBER 29TH, I WAS TAKING AN ON RAMP FOR AN INTERSTATE. THE RAMP IS AN UPHILL, HAIR PIN TURN THAT THEN TURNS INTO AN OFF-RAMP FOR ONCOMING TRAFFIC. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED AN ISSUE ACCELERATING AND MERGING INTO THE INTERSTATE TRAFFIC HERE. HOWEVER, THIS AFTERNOON I WAS NOT ABLE TO GET THE ACCELERATION THAT I EXPECTED. WHEN I RAN OUT OF RAMP ROOM, I WOULD HAVE NEEDED TO SLOW DOWN SIGNIFICANTLY IN ORDER TO ALLOW THE SIDE BY SIDE TRACTOR TRAILERS TO GO BY. HOWEVER, BECAUSE OF OTHER CARS THAT WERE BEHIND ME ON THE ON-RAMP, THAT WAS NOT AN OPTION WITHOUT POSSIBLY CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. SO I MERGED WITH AS MUCH POWER AS I COULD GET, WHICH WAS NOT ENOUGH. THE CLOSEST TRACTOR TRAILING CAME BARRELING DOWN UPON ME QUICKLY WITH HORN BLARING. ON SEPTEMBER 30TH, JUST A COUPLE MILES AWAY FROM THE DEALERSHIP, I WAS THE FIRST IN LINE AT A RED LIGHT. THE JEEP SHUT OFF. I COULD NOT GET IT BACK INTO GEAR. IT JUST REMAINED IN NEUTRAL NO MATTER WHICH GEAR I TRIED TO PUT IT IN. I SHIFTED IN AND OUT OF PARK AND OTHER GEARS TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON MANY TIMES. A FEW TIMES DRIVE WOULD ENGAGE BUT THEN THE ENGINE WOULD SHUT OFF AGAIN AFTER A FEW FEET. I FINALLY GOT IT INTO GEAR AND ACCELERATED QUICKLY HOPING TO COVER A GREATER DISTANCE AND IT WORKED. I WAS ABLE TO FINISH MY TRIP TO THE DEALERSHIP.
ABOUT 30 MINUTES AFTER MIDNIGHT ON A THURSDAY MORNING I WAS AWOKE BY THE SOUND OF MY DOG BARKING AND MY SISTER WALKING INTO MY ROOM TELLING ME THERE WAS A LARGE GLOW IN THE DRIVEWAY. AFTER WALKING OUTSIDE, WE FOUND MY BRAND NEW 2015 WRANGLER ON FIRE WITH VERY LARGE FLAMES ERUPTING FROM THE HOOD. WE QUICKLY WOKE THE REST OF MY FAMILY AND RUSHED FRANTICALLY TO PUT IT OUT. AN HOUR LATER, AFTER NEARBY NEIGHBORS ARRIVED TO HELP, AND EMERGENCY SERVICES ARRIVED TO PUT OUT THE FIRE (LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT AND POLICE) THE VEHICLE FIRE WAS DOUSED AND THE JEEP WAS HAULED OFF MY PROPERTY TO A LOCAL TOWING YARD. THE FIRE SEEMED TO HAVE STARTED AROUND THE BATTERY AREA, BUT THE SOURCE HAS YET TO BE DETERMINED. THE FIRE CLAIMED THE ENTIRE ENGINE COMPARTMENT, MOST OF THE DRIVERS DASH BOARD AND DRIVERS INTERIOR, AND THE ENTIRE FRONT LEFT TIRE/TRIM.
I WAS DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED WHEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ACTIVATED. THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WAS NOT SHIFTING PROPERLY, AND DID NOT SEEM TO DOWNSHIFT AFTER SLOWING DOWN TO PROCEED THROUGH TOLL BOOTH. WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO ACCELERATE AFTER PAYING THE TOLL, THE ENGINE BEGAN TO SLOWLY ACCELERATE AS IF IT WAS IN FOURTH OR FIFTH GEAR. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, THE OIL LIGHT BEGAN TO TURN ON AND OFF INTERMITTENTLY. I MADE IT TO A CHRYSLER/JEEP DEALER AND FOUND A PUDDLE OF OIL UNDER MY CAR AND THERE WAS NO OIL REGISTERING ON THE DIPSTICK. AFTER THE JEEP SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVENTUALLY LOOKED AT MY CAR, I FOUND OUT THERE WAS A CRACKED OIL FILTER ADAPTER THAT HAD TO BE REPLACED. AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH, I LEARNED THAT THIS WAS NOT AN UNCOMMON PROBLEM IN JEEPS. I IMAGINE THAT I WAS FORTUNATE THAT THE ENGINE DID NOT SEIZE OR CATCH FIRE, WHICH OBVIOUSLY HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE SERIOUS HARM.
TROUBLE SHIFTING INTO 4TH GEAR, GRINDING, SENT INTO REPAIR FOR 17 DAYS, RETURNED IT THE NEXT DAY WITH THE SAME COMPLAINT, STARTED SECOND GUESSING MYSELF AFTER A FEW WEEKS PROBLEM BECAME WORST, EVERY ATTEMPT TO SHIFT IT TO TO 4 GEAR IT WOULD NOT ENGAGED UNLESS FORCED INTO GEAR
OUR JEEP GOES INTO A VIOLENT SHAKE WHICH MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT TO CONTROL JUST TO PULL OFF THE ROAD AND STOP THE VEHICLE. WE FOUND OUT THIS IS CALLED THE JEEP DEATH WOBBLE. IT STARTED VERY SOON AFTER WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AND IT STILL DOES IT.
WE BOUGHT OUR JEEP IN JULY 2015. WENT ON VACATION TO OREGON IN AUGUST 2015 AND THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. WE DROVE TO WINCHESTER BAY TO A JEEP DEALER WHERE THEY DIAGNOSED THAT A CYLINDER MISFIRED. BUT THEY SAID TO DRIVE IT BACK TO CALIFORNIA TO THE JEEP DEALER WHERE WE BOUGHT IT. AFTER THAT WHEN DRIVING THE JEEP THE TRACTION LIGHT COMES ON AND AT THE SAME TIME THE ACCELERATOR STOPS WORKING. THE LIGHT STAYS ON FOR ABOUT 4-6 SECONDS, BUT SO DOES THE ACCELERATOR. THIS WAS HAPPENED 9 DIFFERENT TIMES. WE HAVE TAKEN THE JEEP INTO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND THEY KEEP THE JEEP FOR A WEEK. THIS HAPPENED 3 TIMES, SO FOR 3 WEEKS WE DIDN'T HAVE OUR JEEP AND HAD TO RENT A CAR (WHICH JEEP PROVIDED). THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE TRACTION LIGHT GOING ON. AFTER THE THIRD TIME, THE DEALER WOULD NOT LET US BRING IN OUR JEEP TO THEM SO WE HAD TO CALL THE JEEP SOLUTION, WHICH IS A JOKE. THEY ONLY TRY TO FIND ANOTHER DEALER TO LOOK AT IT. SO WE TOOK IT TO ANOTHER DEALER AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE SAME PROBLEM. THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHEN THE TRACTION LIGHT COMES ON AND THE ACCELERATOR STOPS WORKING, HOW DANGEROUS IT IS WHEN DRIVING 70 MPH IN TRAFFIC AND THEN THE SPEED GOES DOWN TO 63 IN SECONDS. I WAS FLIPPED OFF, CUT OFF AND YELLED OUT BY OTHER DRIVES WHO THOUGHT I WAS SLOWING DOWN ON PURPOSE. I HAVE BEEN RENTING CARS TO DRIVE LONG DISTANCES BECAUSE I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE IT ON THE FREEWAY TOO FAR. SOME ONE NEEDS TO FIX OUR JEEP AND UNDERSTAND HOW DANGEROUS THIS IS. WE ARE AGAIN TAKING THE JEEP TO ANOTHER DEALER TO LOOK AT IT. THIS WILL BE THE 5TH TIME IN THE DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE. BECAUSE THE ENGINE LIGHT IS NOT GOING ON THEY SAID THEY CAN NOT SEE THAT THE TRACTION LIGHT CAME ON. IS THAT POSSIBLE? PLEASE HELP!
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER FOLDING DOWN THE REAR SEAT, THE SEAT FAILED TO LOCK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LITHIA CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE OF CORPUS CHRISTI (4313 S STAPLES ST, CORPUS CHRISTI, TX 78411), BUT THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE WHY THE SEAT WOULD NOT LOCK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.
BETWEEN THE DATES OF 3/20 AND 8/1 MY 2015 JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED (4DR, 4X4) HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING INTERMITTENT CEL P0340 WHILE PULLING A GRADE. WHEN THE CEL OCCUR THE VEHICLE LOSES SIGNIFICANT POWER AND IS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN SPEED. THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM LIGHTS COME ON INDICATING AN ERROR. DURING THIS TIME THE VEHICLE WILL NOT ACCELERATE TO A SAFE SPEED AND THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEMS ARE NOT FUNCTIONING. THE VEHICLE WILL RETURN TO NORMAL OPERATION AFTER TURNING THE KEY TO OFF THEN BACK ON. IF THIS IS DONE WHILE MOVING INTERMITTENTLY THE CAR'S SECURITY SYSTEM WILL ENGAGE AND THE VEHICLE WILL NOT START BACK UP. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE FOR WARRANTY REPAIR 5 TIMES WITH THIS ISSUE. EACH TIME THE PROBLEM IS SAID TO BE RESOLVED, BUT OCCURS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY.
STEERING WHEEL HORN ASSEMBLY. THIS UNIT TAKE AN UNUSUAL AMOUNT OF PRESSURE TO MAKE THE HORN SOUND. THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM SINCE THE CAR WAS NEW. IN ADDITION THE HORN ASSEMBLY VIBRATES WHEN TURNING. I HAVE TAKEN THIS CAR TO A ALAMOGORDO, NEW MEXICO DEALER AND GALVESTON , TEXAS DEALER TO HAVE THE PROBLEM INVESTIGATED. THEY TOLD ME THIS WAS NORMAL. THIS OCCURRED SINCE THE CAR WAS NEW AND CONTINUES TODAY AT 45,000 MILES. I AM CONCERNED SOMETHING IS FAULTY WITH THE HORN AND AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
I DID GET INTO A MINOR ACCIDENT WHILE DRIVING ONTO A ON RAMP AND MY VEHICLE SKIDDED THE GUARD RAIL. I EXITED THE VEHICLE TO CHECK FOR DAMAGE AND SAW A FLAME NEAR THE HOOD OF THE CAR AND IMMEDIATELY EXITED. THE GAS TANK WAS NEVER HIT NOR DID I HAVE A MAJOR DIRECT COLLISION IN THE ACCIDENT HOWEVER WITHIN SECONDS THE VEHICLE BURST INTO FLAMES AND WAS COMPLETELY ENGULFED. THE ENTIRE VEHICLE AND MY PERSONAL CONTENTS INSIDE MELTED INTO NOTHING. I LOVED JEEPS BUT THE INCIDENT HAS PERSUADED ME TO AVOID PURCHASING THEM FOR THE NEAR FUTURE.
I WAS DRIVING MY JEEP ON MY PROPERTY AND HAD STOPPED FOR A MOMENT. NEXT THING I KNOW IT WAS ON FIRE AND IT SPREAD SO QUICKLY I HAD NO CHOICE BUT LEAVE THE VEHICLE AND CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. I WAS LUCKY TO BE ABLE TO GET OUT.
I BOUGHT THE JEEP APRIL 4, 2015. ON JULY 19, 2015 I PARKED MY CAR IN THE DRIVEWAY AND 3 HOURS LATER AT 5:30 MY DOG WORK ME UP AND I LOOK OUTSIDE AND THE WHOLE FRONT END OF THE JEEP WAS IN FLAMES. WE WERE ABLE TO GET THE FIRE OUT BUT IT WAS A TOTAL LOSS.
DRIVING ON A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY AROUND 2PM. I HAD BEEN DRIVING FOR A SOLID HOUR ON THE SAME HIGHWAY WHEN MY JEEP SUDDENLY ACCELERATED. THE GAS PEDAL PROCEEDED TO THE FLOOR EVEN WHILE I TAPPED AND PRESSED PUMPING MY BRAKES. I RECALL AN INITIAL ODD FEELING UNDERFOOT PRIOR TO THE CLIMBING ACCELERATION. I FELT THE PEDAL PULL AWAY DIRECTLY AFTER I FELT A VIBRATION UNDERFOOT. I WAS NOT USING CRUISE CONTROL NOR WAS IT ENGAGED . THE ENGINE WAS CYCLING LOUDLY AND THE RPM GAUGE WAS CLIMBING IN THE RED, I HAD NO CAR MAT IN PLACE BECAUSE I SPILLED A PROTEIN SHAKE A WEEK EARLIER AND IT STILL SMELLED. I STILL CHECKED VISUALLY TO SEE IF SOMETHING SOMEHOW WAS OBSTRUCTING THE PEDAL. I HAD MY HANDS ON THE TOP OF THE WHEEL PER USUAL COMFORT SPOTS. I WAS LIKE, WAIT...WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?? I HAD TO PRESS AS HARD AS I COULD ON THE BRAKES WHILE PULLING THE EMERGENCY BRAKE UP SLOWLY TO BRING THE OPEN THROTTLED CAR TO A STOP. I NOTICED JUST BEFORE TURNING OFF THE CAR A RED LIGHTNING BOLT APPEARED ON THE DASHBOARD. MY NEW CAR WAS 4 WEEKS NEW TO OUR FAMILY. I AM AN EXPERIENCED DRIVER WHO OWNED JEEPS BEFORE IN 1989. THE GAS PEDAL WAS SO TIGHTLY PRESSED INTO THE FLOOR I COULD NOT GET THE TIP OF MY SHOE UNDER TO PULL IT UP. I WAS TAKEN FOR A DEATH RIDE FOR 10 MINUTES. THE CAR SMELLED LIKE BURNING MOTOR! IF THERE WAS TRAFFIC THIS DAY I CANNOT THINK OF THE REPERCUSSIONS .
6-SPEED MANUAL: WHILE STOPPED AT LIGHTS, CROSSING INTERSECTIONS, AND NORMAL DRIVING ON ROADS, DAY/NIGHT AND WARM/COLD, ENGINE STOPS FOR 2-10 SECONDS. IT HAS STOPPED WHEN PASSING OTHER VEHICLES REQUIRING FULL BREAK APPLICATION TO AVOID ONCOMING TRAFFIC. IN INTERSECTIONS AND WHEN THE CLUTCH WAS PUSHED IN TO HELP COAST THROUGH INTERSECTION, THERE WAS NO POWER STEERING TO HELP TURN THE WHEELS! THE DEALERSHIPS INSIST THAT THERE IS NO PROBLEM AND ENGINE COULD NOT CUT OUT WHILE DRIVING? THIS ENGINE PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED AT LEAST 30-40 TIMES.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER OR AFTER WASHING THE VEHICLE, WATER LEAKED INTO THE VEHICLE AND SOAKED THE CARPET. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 581.
I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW JEEP RUBICON UNLIMITED AND HAD THE DEALER INSTALL A MOPAR 4 INCH FACTORY APPROVED LIFT KIT. THE KIT HAS A LOT OF ISSUES WITH IT AND NOT A WHOLE LOT OF ANSWERS TO FIX THEM. I WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE WITH MY 13 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN THE PASSENGER SEAT WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL STARTED TO SHAKE UNCONTROLLABLY AND WE HEADED INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. I WAS ABLE TO GET CONTROL OF THE JEEP ONLY BY SLAMMING ON THE BRAKES AND TURNING AWAY FROM THE ONCOMING TRAFFIC. THE DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL WITH TRYING TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS BUT THEY ARE NOW SAYING THIS IS A MOPAR PARTS ISSUE AND THEY ARE IN A HOLDING PATTERN UNTIL THEY CAN GET SOME ANSWERS. I CALLED MOPAR AND THEY SAID IT IS THE DEALERS RESPONSIBILITY AND CHRYSLER HAS THE FINAL SAY ABOUT THE REPAIR PROCESS. THE JEEP HAS LESS THAN 800 MILES ON IT AND IM IN A RENTAL MINIVAN. TOO COOL !!!!!! LIST OF ISSUES : ALIGNMENT CASTOR CANNOT BE CORRECTED TO FACTORY SPECS DUE TO LACK OF ADJUSTMENT. FRONT AXLE IS NOT CENTERED DUE TO LACK OF ADJUSTMENT STEERING DRAG LINK DIGS INTO INSIDE OF WHEEL AND KNOCKS OFF THE BALANCE WEIGHTS. THE TRACK BAR BRACKET IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH AND HAS BENT ALLOWING THE STABILIZER AND TRACK BAR TO HAVE EXCESSIVE PLAY. THESE ISSUES ALL DEAL WITH THE STEERING COMPONENTS AND WAS CAUSED BY THE INSTALLATION OF THIS LIFT KIT.
MY VEHICLE WOULD MAKE A MOANING NOISE WHEN GOING INTO DRIVE AND REVERSE. IT TOOK CHRYSLER OVER A YEAR TO LISTEN TO ME AND REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION. ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND REMAINS ON UNTIL DEALER RESETS IT. CODE INDICATES THAT CYLINDER #6 MISFIRE. SINCE JUN 20 2015 AND UP TO 4 JAN 2016 THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP 7 TIMES. TOWN TIME HAS ALREADY REACHED 24 DAYS. SO FAR THEY HAVE REPLACED THE CYLINDER HEAD, REMOVED THE HEAD A SECOND TIME, UPDATED SOFTWARE, AND REPLACED THE CAM SHAFTS, PLUS A NUMBER OF OTHER THINGS. THE STAR TEAM AT CHRYSLER/JEPP HAS BEEN INVOLVED WITH NO SUCCESS. FIRST TIME THE LIGHT CAME ON AND REMAINED ON WAS 18 MAY 15.
The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that water was entering the vehicle through the driver’s side door frame causing the 2-inches of water to pool inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the rubber seal was replaced; however, the water continued entering into the vehicle. Additionally, the contact noticed water inside the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the header sealer was replaced and the rubber seal was replaced again. The manufacturer was contacted and a case was filed. No further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 20,000.

MA 09/03/15 THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER COVERED UP THE RUST AND CORROSION WITH AN UNDERCOATING. THE CONSUMER BELIEVES THE VEHICLE SAT IN WATER. VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW ON APRIL 16, 2015. MY WIFE DROVE 8 MILES TO SCHOOL AND THEN 6 MILES TO HER AUNT'S HOUSE. WHEN SHE PARKED SHE NOTICED CAR WAS SMOKING AND THE CAR CAUGHT FIRE SECONDS LATER. AIR FROM WINDSHIELD DEFROSTER DOES NOT REACH ENTIRE WINDSHIELD. AIR ONLY COMES OUT OF SMALL SECTION NEAR THE MIDDLE ON BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDES CAUSING VISIBILITY PROBLEMS DURING RAINY WEATHER. ALSO TAKES MUCH LONGER TO DEFROST ICY WINDSHIELD. ISSUE OCCURS WHETHER IN MOTION OR SITTING STILL.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FLASHES WHEN GOING UPHILL. DEALER CLAIMS TO BE UNABLE TO READ THE CODE IF ENGINE LIGHT DOES NOT STAY ON. HAS BEEN IN FOR SERVICE 4 TIMES FOR SAME ISSUE. ONCE, DEALER REPLACED A SINGLE ENGINE COIL AFTER READING A P300 MISFIRE CODE. ENGINE LOSES POWER AND FREEWAY SPEED BECOMES IMPOSSIBLE TO MAINTAIN FOR SEVERAL MINUTES EVEN AFTER CRESTING HILL AND DRIVING ON LEVEL SURFACE. *TR
THE REGULATION REQUIRING HEADRESTS TO TILT FORWARD IS RIDICULOUS AND CAUSES ME SIGNIFICANT NECK DISCOMFORT. I HAVE TO LEAN THE DRIVER'S SEAT BACK FARTHER THAN I WANT SO THAT THE HEADREST DOESN'T PUSH MY HEAD FORWARD. STUPID BEAURICRATIC REGULATION.

To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this letter as a formal complaint regarding the unresolved unavailability of a safety-critical ABS module for my vehicle and the improper closure of my case by Stellantis without escalation. Vehicle Information: 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara ABS Control Module Dealer Documentation: On January 15, 2026, I received written confirmation from Texan Dodge in Humble, Texas, stating that: • ABS Module #68259556AD is currently on backorder • That dealership alone has 15 pending orders • There are 300+ customers nationwide currently in the supply queue • No ETA or ship date has been provided by the supplier This documentation demonstrates that the issue is systemic, not isolated, and not resolvable simply by prepaying a dealership order. Case Handling Concerns: Despite providing this information and formally requesting escalation, the assigned Stellantis case manager stated that she intended to close the case and refused to forward it to the next supervisory or corporate review level. The case was closed over my objection while the issue remains unresolved.
