There are 2 owner-reported lighting complaints for the 2016 Jeep Wranglerin NHTSA's database. These are unverified consumer reports and may not reflect confirmed defects.
The headlamp assembly lenses have become warped and frosted due to excessive heat from the bulb and defective heat dissipation from the headlamp assembly . Poor visibility at night, as light output is significantly diminished creating a safety hazard..
HEAD LIGHTS EXTREMELY POOR LIGHTING AND VISIBILITY. CAN LEAVE HIGH BEAMS ON AND NO ONE FLASHES ME TO CHANGE TO LOW BEAMS. I FIND IT VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. WE LIVE IN THE MOUNTAINS WHICH IS WHY WE PURCHASED THE JEEP IN THE FIRST PLACE. WE HAVE HAD THEM CHECKED AT DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAY NOTHING IS WRONG. I FEEL THAT JEEP NEEDS TO RECALL HEADLIGHTS AND REPLACE WITH A BETTER LIGHT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. *TR
