My vehicle is now inoperable because of this and has been so for over 3 weeks.

I was driving on the highway merging on a bridge before entering a tunnel, there was a car in from of me that was rolling slow. My Forward Collision Warning did not go off when the car was in front of me but when the car was about 3-4 car lengths away and was driving away the warning went off and the emergency automatic brake engaged and there was nothing in front of me. I was almost rear ended and could not get my Jeep to move. The automatic brake disengaged and I was then able to drive normally.
