THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE UNDER 40 MPH WITHOUT THE VEHICLE ACCELERATING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTICS AND THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED THAT THE THROTTLE SENSOR WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
