Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)I WAS TRAVELING ABOVE 30 MPH, WHEN I HEARD A LOUD NOISE COME FROM UNDER MY VEHICLE. ABOUT A MINUTE LATER, MY BACK WHEELS LOCK DOWN AND I LOST CONTROLLED OF MY VEHICLE. THIS THE FIRST TIME THIS EVER HAPPEN. THE BOLTS CAME LOOSE FROM THE LEFT AXLE CAUSE THE HAND BRAKE CABLE TO POP OFF AND WRAPPED AROUND THE AXLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. NEW LEFT REAR AXLE AND NEW BRAKE CABLE ASY. I THINK THE SHOP STILL HAVE THE PARKS. *TR
CAR IS A 2003 RANGE ROVER HSE AND HAS ONLY 41K MILES ON IT. WHEN MY HUSBAND STOPPED AT THE CORNER TO TAKE A RIGHT TURN, THERE WAS A HORRIBLE METAL-ON-METAL GRINDING SOUND. THE CAR WAS INOPERABLE AND HAD TO BE TOWED.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
