IN JANUARY OF 2019 I HAS AN ISSUE WITH A FUEL SENSOR AND PAID LEXUS DEALERSHIP 1800.00 TO HAVE IT REPLACED. I AM NOW HAVING THE SAME ISSUE AND HAVE DISCOVERED THERE A RECALL ON THIS CAR FOR THE SAME THING. I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD BE REFUNDED MY MONEY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 LEXUS IS. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V647000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE) AND STATED THAT THE PART NEEDED FOR THE REPAIR WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
I RECIEVED A SAFETY RECALL NOTICE FROM LEXUS FOR MY CAR. I HAVE MADE MULTIPLE CALLS TO LEXUS TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT TO GET THE CAR FIXED. THEY DO NOT RETURN MY CALLS. IT HAS BEEN OVER A MONTH SINCE I FIRST CONTACTED THEM. *TR
