Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)AFTER READING THE RECALL FOR 2019 NX300, I REALIZED IT COULD BE TRUE. A WEEK AGO I WAS DRIVING ON FREEWAY AT ABOUT 55 MPH, DECIDED TO CHANGE THE LANE TO MY RIGHT WHICH WAS DEFINITELY GETTING IN-FRONT OF ANOTHER CAR WHICH MAY HAVE HAD BEEN @ 55MPH AND COUPLE CARS BEHIND ME. BEST OPTION WAS TO ACCELERATE SO I COULD BE IN THE NEXT LANE QUICKLY AND SAFELY - GUESS WHAT...IT TOOK A WHILE FOR MY CAR TO PICK UP THAT IMMEDIATE ACCELERATION TO THE RIGHT LANE. I ENDED UP SLOWING DOWN THE CAR WHO DEFINITELY MUST HAVE APPLIED BRAKE. I SURE HAD A GOOD GAP WHEN I WAS TRYING TO CHANGE LANE. I WAS SCARED AT THAT MOMENT - NOW I'M CONFIDENT THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG. DARN IT, I SPENT A GOOD AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR THIS LUXURY CAR BUT I'M DRIVING EVERYDAY WITH A DISCOURAGING FEAR OF 'NOT TO CHANGE LANE'.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
