Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)THE SUNROOF ON OUR LEXUS RX 330 SHATTERED WHILE WE WERE DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH. IT WAS NOT HIT BY A ROCK OR OTHER DEBRIS, IT SHATTERED FOR NO APPARENT REASON INTO MANY SMALL PIECES. FORTUNATELY WE HAD THE SUNSHADE CLOSED, OTHERWISE WE WOULD PROBABLY HAVE BEEN INJURED BY FLYING GLASS.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
