Exploding Sunroof...sunroof exploded randomly.

While my 2025 Lexus TX was parked in my residential garage, the vehicle suddenly locked itself with my [XXX] and [XXX] children and my phone inside. The doors had been unlocked prior to placing them in the vehicle. Without warning, the vehicle locked all doors and windows. The key fob failed to unlock the vehicle electronically or manually. My husband and I attempted for over 30 minutes to gain access while the children remained trapped inside before calling the dealership for technical help. They instead transferred us to Lexus roadside assistance. Lexus roadside assistance advised calling [XXX] to break the windows or otherwise enter the vehicle forcefully. However, before we could call, my husband figured out how to get a narrow opening to access the vehicle through the trunk to enter the interior and lower the windows in order to remove the children safely. The vehicle was taken to the dealership for inspection. This malfunction created a serious occupant entrapment safety hazard involving infants. While stopped in traffic with my foot firmly on the brake pedal, my vehicle began accelerating forward unexpectedly. The vehicle seemed "possessed". It was as if the gas pedal was fully on the ground while my foot was still on the brake, so the car was lurching and seemed to be fighting itself. The vehicle continued moving forward and would not stop despite sustained and hard brake pressure. I was rapidly closing distance on the vehicle in front of me and narrowly avoided a collision by inches. The vehicle only stopped after I shifted it into park and then I shut the car off. This was a terrifying and dangerous event. The vehicle accelerated against brake input and created an immediate collision risk. I reported this incident to my local Lexus dealership (Lexus of Fife, WA). However, the dealership minimized the event in their service documentation and did not accurately record my description of unintended acceleration while braking. At that time, I was informed that Lexus had issued a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) related to this issue but has not issued a recall or broadly notified owners. If the manufacturer is aware of this defect and has not initiated a recall, I believe this poses a significant public safety risk. This issue presents a serious safety concern involving unintended acceleration despite brake application. I am concerned that other drivers could experience similar incidents, potentially resulting in injury or fatal accidents. I suspect that accidents have already resulted from this. I am requesting investigation into this defect. Owners should be notified and this should be recalled immediately.

My son was sitting in his rear passenger side seat belt and he shifted in his seat and became entrapped in his seatbelt which i could not release in any way so i had to pull over on the 15 freeway on a trip back from Las Vegas in the middle of a highway with no visible exits and cut him out of his seatbelt

Basically, the instrument cluster lighting is very, very poor. Very difficult to read when driving, especially in a day break. You must turn off your daylight running lights to make it a little bit brighter. This is a problem.

I would just like to say that the info instrument panel in my Lexus does not light up satisfactory to see when there’s daybreak. I think this is a safety hazard when you can’t see the numbers because of the sunshine. I think this is a safety issue that should be addressed by Lexus anytime you can move the instrument cluster info and you cannot read the numbers then there is a problem. I haven’t seen where many people have complained about it, but I do know that mine is not the only one that has this problem. Thank you.

Third-Row Noise: A popping noise is often heard when the third-row seats are folded down.

We leased the Lexus at the end of May 2025. My husband I drove the car. It was nice. My husband and I are in our early [XXX] . Meaning we are very capable of driving. We both ride motorcycles, snowmobiles, dirt bikes,4 wheeling and we also own 1957 truck, 2024 corvette, and we even both drove our own corvettes at the spring mountain in Nevada. That being said this car is a nightmare. I don’t need a car to take over my driving, braking, and anything else. Whether it’s driving 75-80mph and you are on a major interstate and it decides that the sweeping curve is dangerous while I’m passing a semi or a string of cars! I don’t need it to slow down because it thinks too fast of a curve?!?!?. I took it to Brookfield Lexus for over a week I spoke with service told them what I dislike about the car. The one service tech said,”. You are not the only one that dislikes all of the safety features”! I asked him can you remove all of the safety features, “ he said not sure but we will do what we can”! When I picked up my car on Dec 20,2025 they showed me that only a couple of safety features can be shut off. The other ones have to be shut off manually everytime you start the car!!!!! I should not have to go into the computer and manually shut other features off because it’s back to flashing, beeping, and any other annoying features to put me in danger because it’s telling me you are going to have an accident!!!! It’s a distraction that is a problem. My daughter drove it home with our small trailer in a snowstorm last Sunday . My daughter was changing lanes and when she did your auto braking took control and she almost went in the ditch. With the trailer on the back it started to slide because it was overcompensating which put my daughter, the car, my trailer, and anyone else near her in danger. I spoke with Lexus Corporate and filed a complaint. They said there was nothing wrong with the car. There is a major problem with that car. The contact owns a 2025 Lexus TX350. The contact stated that while driving 50 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed and felt spongy, and the vehicle failed to respond as intended, causing the braking distance to be extended. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the brakes were in good working condition; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that while attempting to raise the folded passenger's side third row seat to the upright position, the back of the seat became stuck to an unknown part behind the seat, causing the seat to fail to respond as needed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the unknown part had been replaced, and the seat could be raised; however, the failure persisted. Additionally, the contact stated that fuel tank door had failed to open intermittently while pressing the release button on the steering wheel, forcing the contact to release the fuel tank door by engaging the emergency release manual button inside the trunk. The dealer was notified of the failure, and an appointment was scheduled for a diagnostic test. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000.

Lexus TX hood flutters at highway speeds, Dealers acknowledging the issue and confirming no repairs available. Created a case with Lexus corperate office, so far no resolution after submitting vehicle report from dealer visits. This issue is similar to GX hood issue, but Lexus is not looking into this and acting like we are not aware of this and no one informed.

Dash is completely blank, no display at all.

On 9/24/2025, while stopping in front of house to back into driveway, main 14 inch display screen went blank. The forward camera was not displayed. Upon putting vehicle in Reverse gear, display screen remained blank and no reverse camera was displayed. After shifting vehicle into Park, display screen continued to be blank not showing main control interface. Main 14 inch display screen failure. Loss of forward, surround and reverse cameras. Loss of control display.

DUE TO THE FRONT GRILL HAVING LARGE GAPS THE AC CONDENSER IS LEAKING DUE TO IMPACT FROM DEBRIS SAFETY IS NON-DRIVABLE LIVING IN ARIZONA DRIVING CHILDREN AT 100-110 DEGREES IN THE SUMMER AND CAR LESS THAN 6 MONTHS OLD LEXUS DEALER IN CHANDLER ARIZONA STATED THEY HAVE SEEN OTHER INCIDENCES OF ROCKS AND DEBRIS ON HIGHWAY CAUSING A LEAK IN THE AC CONDENSER. NO WARNING LIGHTS THE FERON WAS LEAKING OR LOW!

Sunroof shattered with huge noise without notice any object hitting it.

Air Conditioner Condenser failed after only 12,000 miles on a brand new 2025 Lexus TX 350 Vehicle. Leak caused AC to only blow hot air. After having the vehicle serviced, the Service Advisor indicated that the condenser had a leak which was cause by road debris and would not be covered under the warranty or purchased additional extended warranty. The vehicle is exclusively driven on highway and paved roads. Researching the symptoms, many other now frustrated Lexus Owners are complaining about the same issues and lack of Lexus Support. The placement of the condenser behind the wide- open grill, make the condenser prone to failure. Repair cost estimated at over $2,000 for a $70,000 car, less than 6 months old.

more than 3 documented occurrences of the vehicle sound system go out and does not play music on radio. satellite radio and Bluetooth until the car is shut off at the ignition and restarted.

The vehicle looses power and hesitates to accelerate from a stop start. This happens when The HV Battery State of Charge (SOC) is below 30%. •The vehicle is in catalyst warm-up mode (cold start). The Motor Generator (MG) is in charge mode. As a result of this scenario I have almost been T boned 3 times while attempting a left turn from my home across a dual carriage lane. And again nearly rear ended because of the lack of power or hesitation. To me this is a big safety concern that Lexus do not have a credible fix for.

In March 2025, pulling out from parking lot into traffic and accelerated but vehicle slowly moved forward even though accelerator pedal was more than halfway down. Luckily, the oncoming vehicle had time to slow down and avoid hitting my vehicle. This is the same problem that Toyota Grand Highlander Platinum owners have been experiencing. This is a safety hazard especially when your accelerating into traffic and the vehicle basically craws forward.

Fuel door does not open when using release button. Must push button multiple times before fuel door opens. Vehicle has less than 1400 miles.

I heard hissing and saw oil residue under the hood. The Clearwater, FL dealership diagnosed it as a punctured AC condenser due to “road debris” and quoted $2,000 to repair. The car had no visible damage, and I asked to keep the part for independent analysis but was denied—despite offering to pay in full. Photos show the vehicle in flawless condition. Lexus initially refused warranty coverage and claimed a front tire may have kicked up a rock, despite all tires being behind the grille. Eventually, after repeated contact with Lexus corporate and both dealerships (in Jacksonville and Clearwater), they agreed to cover the repair—but still refused to return the damaged part. Several service advisors admitted this issue is common. The condenser appears unprotected behind the grille, making it vulnerable to debris. Given the low mileage and lack of damage, this points to a design flaw. Lexus’s inconsistent handling and denial of access to the part raise concerns. Request for Investigation Please investigate this as a potential systemic design defect. The vulnerability of the AC condenser can lead to repeat failures and high repair costs, especially in hot climates where AC is essential. Lexus has asked one owner if he would agree to being a guinea pig and allow them to add a screen behind the grill.
