THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER AND ROBINSON BROTHERS FORD (LOCATED AT 11455 AIRLINE HWY, BATON ROUGE, LA 70816) HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
NOTIFIED BY LINCOLN (FORD MOTOR COMPANY) ABOUT NHTSA 14V-597 RECALL IN LETTER DATED NOVEMBER 2014 CONCERNING THE AIR BAG CONTROL MODULE FAILURE. AS OF MAY 1ST, MY VEHICLE STILL HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. ALTHOUGH I HAVE MADE NUMEROUS CALL TO LINCOLN (FORD), I AM TOLD THAT REPAIR PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR MY VEHICLE. I HAVE BEE WAITING 6 MONTHS FOR REPAIR PARTS FOR MY VEHICLE. I FIND THIS TO BE UNACCEPTABLE AS A CONSUMER AND HENCE MY FILING THIS COMPLAINT WITH THE NHTSA. *TR
