Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)On the way home from the dealer the vehicle powered down on its own and then shut off in the middle of the road. Luckily we were able to coast into the median without incident. The vehicle started back up and we garaged it until the dealer came the next day to retrieve it. The vehicle remains at the dealer with this unresolved issue, now going on ten days. They do not appear to know what caused the problem, but vehicles shutting down in the middle of the street ( or worse yet, an expressway filled with rush hour traffic) create an obvious dangerous situation. Please also note that I have been advised that we are not the only people experiencing the same problem with this vehicle. If that is the case, I cannot fathom why we were allowed to put this vehicle on the road. Someone is going to get hurt or worse if this problem continues unabated.
