Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)Following the OTA software update to V2.6.16, the car will randomly refuse to shift out of Park and into either Drive or Reverse. This occurs after the car has been recently plugged in to charge as well as randomly regardless of charging activity. This is a significant safety issue in that the car will not move despite having foot on the brake.
Car lost power and shut down in the middle of the road. Very dangerous, almost got hit. I was able to get the car to the side of the road. The vehicle was not driveable. Call Lucid customer care and they towed the vehicle to the service center. No loaner was provided to me.
