The contact was relating her failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V046000 (SEATS, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and they informed her that the matter would be escalated for a possible buyback, and advised the contact to reach out to the insurance provider. The contact mentioned the vehicle was still at her residence. The approximate failure mileage was 170,000.
SO U DRIVE THE CAR AND THE DISPLAY SHOW, DISPLAY TOO HOT AND THAN SHUTS OFF. LAST MONTH I WAS MERGING ONTO A HIGHWAY, THINKING I CAN JOIN THE ONCOMING TRAFFIC WITH THE HORSEPOWER AND SPEED I HAVE, MY CAR GOT STUCK AT 30MPH ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DRIVE WITHOUT NO KNOWLEDGE IT WONT GO MORE THAN 30MPH AND RPM RAISED TO 6 OR 7. ITS BEEN IN SHOP FOR ALMOST 40 DAYS AND THEY ARE SAYING I LL GET IT BACK TODAY EVERY OTHER DAY. THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION WHEN THIS IS HAPPENING. I HOPE SOMEONE DOESNT GET INTO ACCIDENT CAUSE THEY WILL THINK THE CAN JOIN THE SPPED OF THE TRAFFIC WHEN IT GETS STUCK AT 30MPH
