No warning lights were illuminated. The contact then stated that after taking the vehicle to a local dealer for a taillight recall repair and driving at an unknown speed, the service light was illuminated. The vehicle was then taken to Maserati of Newport Beach (1100 West Coast Hwy, Newport Beach, CA 92663) for a routine oil change and the service department was made aware of the failure. The contact was informed that the thermostat housing and coolant hose needed to be replaced. Additionally, the contact was made aware of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V872000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the dealer awaiting parts. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 2,000.
