THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND A CASE WAS OPENED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 135,000.
WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY TPMS SIGNAL SOUNDED. EXITED IMMEDIATELY REAR RIGHT TIRE FLAT.UPON EXAMINATION VALVE HAD FALLEN INTO TIRE. CHANGED TIRE WENT TO SERVICE TIRE DEALER STATED ALL VALVES CORRODED BADLY. REPLACED ALL VALVES AT COSTCO THEY WERE UNABLE TO SERVICE TOO MUCH CORROSION. CX9 OWNERS SHOULD BE WARNED OF PROBLEM AND POSSIBLE CATASTROPHIC FAILURE.
